Had my claim denied for a date on the paperwork from my doctor. They delay and delay and do their best to deny your claim. Won't communicate won't accept anything but their own opinion. I've been off work since May with no money coming in and they haven't even tried to help or fix this. All because my doctor didn't use the full 2022.

I have a retirement account with **********************. As I'm retired I have been trying to get a finial distribution check and close out the account. They have been throwing up road blocks up for months now. I am on the phone now for 1:12 minutes and counting. Asking for managers put on hold most of this hour has been on hold. I have sent in the forms they said I needed, twice. They say they can't find them. It now appears they have found the forms sent and they are not the correct ones. So here we go again! I have a very small amount left to close out and they continue to run me through the phone zone, hoping I'll get tiered of holding and give up. They are now trying to steal the little that is left in the account. They will probably tack on so bogus fees and keep what is left. This has been the most unprofessional experience i have ever had with such a company. I had four different retirement accounts and the only bad experience I've had. do yourself a favor and invest elsewhere.

I have a pension plan with this *** when it was time to receive my first payment, I never got it so I called Lincoln financial I spoke to a rep and they said that forms needed to be filled up and that the forms were sent out on feb 29 2024. My first paycheck was due on March 5, so why did they wait until 6 days before my first payment to send me forms that needed to be filled up. I had been talking with their agent since Oct, 2023 and not once did their agent tell me about these forms, so I got the forms 10 days after feb, 29 *****, I filled them up and some were filled up wrong so I got new forms and recent them, again they were filled up wrong , so I got new forms and, I sent in them in by this time its June 2024, I had been staying in contact for 4 months by the time the last form was sent in, so now its been 4 month's. The last form I sent them was, they received on June, 3 ***** I called and talked to an agent, and still they say I will be notified when they finish putting in all the form info. its been 5 months that I have been waiting, and now they tell me that I'am not entitled to retroactive pay how can this *** get away with this?.

Just as everyone else has stated: this company is awful. Their representatives are not professional. They do not keep up with the details of their claims, they have denied my claim stating I have had no medical treatments or therapy or medication when I've spent thousands of dollars in the last 2 months on all of the above. They've never once even asked me what I'm going through or dealing with. I have had my own employer complain to this company due to their blatant miss management and delay of my claim. I am not waiting to hear from a manager. It's very sad that when people pay for insurance coverages and are at the lowest point in their lives, the people who are supposed to be there to help are awful individuals causing more stress and sickness.

Lincoln Financial Group is scamming people/companies. I received short term disability through work because of severe sickness that has caused severe nerve pain and extreme muscle weakness. I have given every medical document they need from multiple doctors and they ignore all incoming calls and do not call back. I've submitted test results, doctor's notes/letters, upcoming tests and doctors appointments with specialists but have been dismissed and they've refused to pay me for the last 2 1/2 months without any explanation as to why. Also it was extremely difficult to even get paid the first couple months. When I ask what other paperwork I need to submit they never have an answer. If I call or leave a message they don't answer or they don't call back, even when I'm told I'd be called back within the next 24 hours. This has been going on for 2 1/2 MONTHS. The times that THEY have called are right before a holiday when they're going to be out of the office and then tell me if I don't have the right paperwork submitted within the week of said holiday that I'm going to lose my disability. I submitted the papers each time and they've still refused to pay and explain to me why. My original symptoms were so bad I couldn't even hold my arms up for very long, let alone lift anything because my arms/legs would give out, and my case manager said that since my symptoms haven't gotten WORSE (which my symptoms did get worse and they'd know that if they were truly reviewing the medical documents) that they don't see any reason to keep covering me. They are a bad faith insurance company, offering a benefit but not following through on their side. They need to be held responsible, not just professionally but financially.

I pay for "short term disability" from this company. I filed a claim in March, 2024, and as of right now (May 24,2024) I still HAVE NOT BEEN PAID.I jumped through all of their hoops, submitted every form, and kept contacting my Doctor, and ******* to fill out paperwork, which they did while I was on the phone.I call, and call, and CALL, with no timely response. They are dismissive, and racist. As someone who has had medical issues in the last year, I was relying on the little payment from them (that I pay for out of my check).I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.

Lost my temporary disability claim 2 days after it was supposed to start. How convenient.

The absolute worst experience Ive ever had working with any company. They were aggressive with me over the phone when explaining my medical disability and inability to work. They were extremely dismissive and disrespectful. They blatantly discriminated against me for having a mental vs physical illness. They caused me so much stress and as a result of their carelessness and inability to complete my claim in a timely manner I missed several weeks pay. As a single mom this has ruined me financially. I cant say enough bad things about this business and how horrible they are to work with.

The worst company ever. I put in paper work that stated the addresses to issue checks to me and my siblings on the behave of our mom. Three different times they sent the check to addresses that we no longer live at. It took them 2 1/2 months just to get it right.

My husband received an inherited *** account that is through Lincoln Financial Grp, it has been extremely complicated, tedious and a SLOW process just to begin the process of accessing funds in the account. They are requiring, from EACH beneficiary on the account, to fill out a form that is 3 pgs back and front, along with a death certificate that includes the manner of death, in order to begin the process of obtaining access to this fund/account. There are other beneficiaries that have already submitted a death certificate. In **, we legally can't get access to a death certificate and the form is wanting info. that we do not know or have access to obtain legally. Companies like Vanguard do not require these things at all, especially from each beneficiary, no forms, everything was over the phone, even for larger amounts in accounts. Lincoln Financial Grp. emailed us info and forms they had sent to another beneficiary on the account, it was addressed to them, not my husband, telling him to fill it out. Today, May 1, 2024, we see the same letter & form in our mailbox addressed to my husband, that he received via email with another beneficiary name etc. Mind you the person we inherited from, passed in Feb 2024, Lincoln never contacted us to inform us of this account and that my husband was a beneficiary. We always called them about it, which was after we were told by another beneficiary, that my husband is a beneficiary on this account. They are supposed to inform beneficiaries ASAP, after someone dies, but did not. Beneficiaries we're not contacted and informed about this. A beneficiary contacted them after finding paperwork at the deceased's home. This company isn't helpful when you call them, definitely not professional, and they are slow to get things done, too slow of a process to gain access to inherited funds in an ***. I would use a great deal of caution and do lots of research, when deciding to open retirement ***s, especially if you have beneficiaries added.
