Absolute garbage of a company who wont even return your calls even when they claim to not be able to reach you and yet you leave 5 voicemails all unanswered or returned. This company should be responsible for the additional stress they place on us as individuals.

This company is the worst I’ve ever dealt with before. I had to file a claim due to severe depression and anxiety and the claim was originally approved but then denied stating I was able to return to work overriding the recommendations of my doctor and counselor. I have filed an appeal and submitted letters from my doctor and counselor that I am still in recovery and not able to work. This company has made it hard for me to get better with their constant denials and repeat requests for paperwork. This has also caused an extreme financial hardship on me and my family. This company only looks for loopholes to deny your claim and not payout any benefits.

This is the world's worst company to deal with. I'm sick and tired of their shenanigans. We need a new disability company who cares about people around disability.

I'll tell you why I'm giving them one star because they don't get their paychecks in the bank until Tuesday morning. And when you have 2 payments post on Tuesday, the bank charges you $33 each N. Yes. FE this needs to be put to a stop when a person gets paid on a Friday. That bank needs to have the money released into my bank account on Monday morning. This company needs to be investigated. I don't give a d*** if the Better Business Bureau can't do anything about it. But they need to look into it. I am one very upset customer with this company right now. I'm sick of the shenanigans sick sick. It's my money. I earned it. They need to release it at a decent time

Submitted a short term disability claim for maternity leave. It has been a horrible experience trying to recieve funds. My doctor's office has faxed needed paperwork several times and recieved confirmation they have recieved it. However, I am told that it was never sent although I have proof. It has now been over a month going back and forth with this company. This is added stress on top of having a new baby. Avoid this company.

There is no reason I have to wait 4 days for a disability check to get to my bank account. This company is absolutely acidine of the way they do business, they need to be told that when there's employer, pay their employees on Payday to have that money in the bank for them, not 3 and 4 days later, which I think is a bunch of baloney. This company used to be investigated by the Better Business Bureau for shenanigans. Above and beyond. It's not their money. It's my money and I'm on disability. And I have bills to pay.

My employer 401k was through Lincoln Financial. After I stopped working there, I wished to roll my account into a 401k at another company, and Lincoln informed me I couldn't do so due to a "stop transaction" hold placed on my account, more than 4 years prior to my request. I was not aware that there had been an order or hold placed, although I had been able to deposit money into the account since the year the hold was placed, unknowingly. It took more than a month of communication with unhelpful representatives to remove this hold, reps (even when the issue was escalated) were not able to tell me how to clearly remove the stop transaction (what documentation they needed). I kept a log of my communication and calls with Lincoln, however they don't seem to have a record of when I initiated contact about withdrawing my money, when they informed me of the stop transaction, and then 6+ weeks of phone tag trying to get a clear answer on how to access/transfer my money. In the meantime, I was charged a "quarterly fee," which I requested for them to remove, since they had been unable to give me access and a clear answer in the meantime. I called recently, and Lincoln's records of when I initiated contact, learned about the stop transaction, and then sent in documentation to remove the stop transaction, don't match my own records (they're missing over a month of phone contacts, conveniently). They refused to refund the fee, and refused to escalate the issue to a supervisor who could better assist. Thieves, and given how simple the solution ended up being to remove the stop transaction (it doesn't take 6 weeks to solve this issue), they were holding my money hostage in order to just be able to charge 1 more month in fees to me.

      Complaint is like everyone else.

Lincoln closed my cases prematurely only to mail and email me that they need more information. The communication is rude, insincere, unhelpful. Lincoln claimed I was not ill enough to not work.
They flood you with paper for doctors and denied my claim before due date request. Then they send me different forms for doctor. Stalling tactics and the way they handle these things are tacky because they lie, to keep from paying what is owed. Besides they are financial brokers and their only concern is how to get money from employees. I did not get a check within 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 weeks going on 6 weeks.
Companies that does business with such an unethical business is no longer acceptable, bordering on corruption and FMLA STD harassment!!!
