I am a gold member of AAA Northeast. On 3/3/2024 3:30pm I put in a request for roadside assistance. 4 hours later and after another online request and multiple calls, no update was given to me. I called again, explained I was frustrated because I still had no eta, and the service person hung on me. The service person called the police, an ambulance, and a fire truck and told the police that they called on behalf of a female who was feeling unwell and in need of care. This was a lie. The police agreed that this was a misuse of their resources but were at least able to help me get a tow truck in 15 min (something AAA was unable to deliver on in 5 hours). When I tried calling again I noticed that I was put on an indefinite hold. This time I called with using *67 and was able to get through (which proves they blacklisted my number). They told me this time that they send police when a car is stopped in a dangerous position like on the highway, (they knew I was safe in a parking lot). My complaint:- AAA did not provide me with the road side assistance I paid for.- AAA blacklisted my number so that I could not receive the assistance I paid for. - AAAs misuse of emergency services shows gross misconduct

I have contacted *** twice since the 20th with no response. I would like this email to be forwarded to the appropriate person to handle the situation. On Febuary 20th a tow truck driver hired by *** towed a broke down truck to my private property while I was sleeping without my permission. This truck is not mine. He never knocked on my door or try and speak with me to get permission to dump this vehicle. Me and my husband are the only owners of this residence. I did not discover this vehicle until the next morning. I later found out that my adult step-son requested that his mother use her *** roadside assistance to do this. Not one person spoke with me or my husband. We had no idea until discovering the vehicle the next day. If I had seen them trying to dump this vehicle I would have ran out my door to stop them. I would assume that a *** tow truck driver can't just take people's word for it and dump a vehicle where ever he may please, just because someone said it was okay? I would think that they would need proof of residency and would need to speak with land owners prior to drop off. If this is not the case , then i guess I can just call you guys up and drop my vehicle off at the ***********, no questions asked? I'm frustrated because not one person has tried to contact me about this. This is my last attempt and then I'm taking legal action against ***. I have a disabled daughter at home. Shes 4 and sick. There is no where for her caretakers to park, ambulance if needed, or fire truck because I have 2 other vehicle that I own. The *** member that requested for this truck to be dumped is ************************* and my address where the truck was dumped is ************************************************ Livemore ME. *****. I am sure you can look this up. It's a green pick up truck, older. No license plate because it literally should be in a junk yard. I want this vehicle gone today Febuary 27th. Not tomorrow, today. Thank you,***********************

      Regards,

      ******

      Hello,

I have called that number for *** and they said there is nothing that can be done to help me. I still need this resolved asap. The *** member is *************************, whom I would like contacted by ***. The owner of the vehicle who had the truck illegally dropped off is ********************* to my address at ***********************************************. ************ *****. I already called the sheriff's department and they said they cannot remove the vehicle from private property. The owner of the vehicle and *** member were present when vehicle was picked up and only the owner of the vehicle was present upon drop off while I was sleeping. I have contacted ********************* who refuses to have it move on his dime. It is extremely frustrating and i shouldnt have to just deal with it, when appropriate measures should have been taken to make sure there was permission from property owners to have this vehicle dropped off here. The owner of the vehicle does not live here, does not pay rent here, does not receive mail here. His address is his mother's home which would be *************************.

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint #********. I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved. The response I received was that AAA was going to look into the member abusing their AAA road side assistance and resolving the issue with this vehicle that is still broke down and parked in my driveway. I expect this to be followed through and all parties involved to be contacted. I will reopen this case and take other actions if this is not followed through. Mind you this vehicle has been here now for almost 2 weeks which is unacceptable.

      Regards,

My stepson, ****, called AAA to have his car towed to our house. AAA then contacted *************************** **** received a text that notified him that his "AAA Technician" was ready to pick him up. (Image of text attached). At approximately 11:15 PM on Thursday, January 11, 2024, I heard a loud crash outside. I walked outside to see that ****'s car had smashed into our garage. The driver said that he lost control of the car when it was coming off the truck. I asked the driver for his card. He said that he did not have any and ripped me off a receipt with the company contact information ( ********************** ***** *****************************************************************************, ************) on it. I asked for his name and he said, "*****". ***** told me that the owner would contact me in the morning. He did not. I filed a claim with my insurance company, USAA, on Friday, January 12, 2024, and they requested that I get an estimate from a garage door specialist. I have attached the quote.I sent a letter to the owner, ***************************, on January 23, 2024. I have not had a response to my letter.I filed a BBB complaint against ********************** company on Thursday, February 22, 2024. I am following up with AAA because they contracted ********************** company to provide the towing service.I want the tow company or AAA to pay to replace our damaged door.

My car stopped working on 2/17/24 at route 20, the highway to **********************, around 9:30 pm at 22 degrees, with no heating because the engine had stopped, so I called AAA road assistance. After the annoying and unnecessary interrogatory (the system recognizes the members phone number) a young man, speaking so fast that it was hard to understand what he was saying, told me that the order had been placed, so I had to wait for the tow truck.30 minutes later, I called the police because we were not safe with no lights on the side of the highway and the trooper arrived in about 10 minutes.More than 30 minutes later, the officer asked me to verify with AAA when the truck would arrive, so I called. They said that the expected arrival time was 12:20 am. How its possible in America that a road assistance service makes a driver wait for 3 hours at 22 degrees???The trooper called a towing service that works for the state police and they charged me $260.00 for the service. It is not the first time that AAA takes for ever to assist us in the road.I have used AAA for over 20 years and the quality of the service has deteriorated significantly over the last years. Not fair and negligent

I filed a comprehensive claim with AAA to have my car repaired after hitting a deer on 2/9/24. I took the car to a local shop for an appraisal to get it repaired. I then took the appraisal to a AAA agent. The agent approved the appraisal in an email and asked me to contact the shop for the repair date which I did. Then on 9/12/24, I received a new appraisal from a different agent that was over $800 less than what the shop had estimated. I tried to contest AAA's appraisal to no avail. They refused to honor the first agent's approval. I need help from BBB to ask AAA to honor their original approval. I have all my communications with them in writing. I hope I you can help me in resolving my case.

I purchased ******** and with my prescription AAA was given for a year. I received the prescription on Saturday February 10, and I didnt open the prescription until today February 12. This morning my car tire was on a flat, I open the prescription thinking they would send someone to help me change the tire to my donut.******* said Im sorry we cant help you until 3 days from today. I said I have to go to work I cant wait 3 days. I was never told I had to pay $100. I was mislead that I had immediate service and yet not ******* or a Supervisor could assist me. I believe this is unfair to the consumer and what if I was stranded.Im very upset and if your going to have a service through another company then they should let the consumer know about this little technical difficulties.

I'm waiting 2 hours in the middle of the night for AAA to come and put on a spare tire. I hit a metal top that pseg neglected to put on and have a flat. They told me it would be 1 hour I'm sitting in a bad area of Plainfield and they keep telling me somebody's coming and I'm getting nothing. The last time they did this to me I was sitting there for hours in the cold and they finally sent someone who could not take the tire off said he didn't have the proper tools and it was all BS. They are leaving me stranded and I want to know why they've gotten so bad
