I received roadside assistance for battery replacement from AAA on 12/11/******* fob for the car was not reprogrammed at the time and it will cost me $170.00 to do it at a dealership.I paid AAA $351.01 for coming out and replacing the battery, and I feel that reprogramming the fob should have been part of that ********** told that theres nothing they can do so I have switched my roadside assistance to another company.I have an automatic renewal plan with AAA and called to cancel it.I was told that they will cancel the automatic renewal on my plan, but will not prorate a refund on my premium that has already been paid.Business Response

I was misinformed by travel agent, that their Allianze Insurance could Not be canceled, though the trip was cancelled on the same day. Agent suggested insurance could be adjusted for another upcoming trip. Neither happened. I went nowhere! I was told by Allianze *** (when I researched myself) that there is a 15-day ****** period' for cancellation. *** has not refunded my $422.00 which was billed to my Discover card in early August, 2024. I've been to the ***** ************* three times, and "their "A" team " is supposedly investigating. It's been 4-months, and the only communication from AAA, is when I go to the office, and get no satisfaction. Nothing is resolved. *** made the August transaction, with ********. My Discover bill is paid, so as not to ruin my excellent credit score.Business Response

My car was hit outside my house on November 10, 2024 by another car that was insured and AAA let me have a rental car for one week because they said that they didn't have to pay for a rental past the settlement offer which I wasn't going to accept because I felt wasn't a unacceptable offer because I didn't feel that I should have to pay the deductible because the other car was insured that hit my Parked car and then AAA was trying to take the easy way out by not finding out about the other car being insured. Then *** took out the money out my account for the renewal for a car that they totaled when the accident happened before the renewal date. and now I have no car and *** has not retuned my calls after I sent in the title on November 22, 2024 which they should of received on November 25, 2024. I had to pay out of pocket for the rental to look for a car because I am disability and have doctors appointments plus I have a elderly Mom that I have to do errands for. I know it is the Holidays but AAA should communicate with me about the situation. I Need AAA to go after the other Insurance company to pay for My rental and to go after the Progressive for my reimbursement.Customer Answer

I do not except AAA response I probably could of been respectful if AAA wasn't trying to get over me by not paying my claim. It has been 1 month and some days and they still haven't paid for my claim. I called these people on multiple occasions and no response from them while I am still paying on a car that I do not have. *** refuses to go after Progressive insurance for the accident. I had to pay for a rental for two weeks because they said that I had to accept a offer that I didn't agree with because I felt AAA shouldn't take My deductible when Progressive was responsible. They said I signed the title in the wrong spot but if I didn't continue to call or finally call corporate, they would of never got in touch with me. So they say I have not been courteous so that means that they holding up my claim. You wouldn't be alright if you felt that I was being taking advantage of. Because If I missed a payment, they would cancel my policy. I Didn't cause this accident but the insurance company is acting like I don't have cause to be upset. I am on disability and need transportation for doctor appointments and to care for my elderly mother. All *** had to do was email or send letters to communicate because it wasn't my fault that the lady that handle titles was out of the office. All I want is my settlement and to pay for my new car because I already was quoted one thing for me car and they kept my deductible even though they said something else. I only filed this complaint after I didn't receive a response from them. This incident has caused stress and sleepiness nights and AAA hasn't helped.Thank You ***** *******Business Response

I have had AAA for 40 years. I have had to use them only two or three times. Recently, I had a car break down and the police would not let me call AAA because I broke down on a two lane mountain side and it was an emergency situation. I submitted the paperwork to *** and they denied me reimbursement. They said because I didn't call AAA first, they won't reimburse me. I explained that the police would not allow me to call AAA as they would take too long and the spot was too dangerous to be stuck in and would put other people at risk as well. They did not care and denied me still, and rudely I might add. I would like reimbursement for this tow. I hope you can help facilitate that.Business Response

Paid for an insurance policy with AAA from 10/2023 to 10/2024. Decided not to renew beyond policy period. Contacted customer service and was advised to remove credit card information from autopay to prevent policy renewal. Received a bill, month later, after policy was paid for and deciding not to renew for removing autopay.**** is for $24. Disputing AAA ability to charge any amount to a closed policy without notification, without feedback from the customer service team and without providing means to dispute. This email is to provide an update. The complaint has not been resolved. I have been contacted by 3 different individuals over the last few weeks but not progress. Essentially, the feedback that I was given is that AAA insurance, although managed through their website, is actually underwritten by a different company csaa-insurance. On every call, was given the "I'll look into it", "let me contact the other company for more info". The last call I received was on 12/06.

AAA erroneously charged me for two separate memberships. I contacted them on October 16, 2024 I was told I was going to receive a $117 credit to my account within two weeks. I still have not received the refund. When contacted, they finally told me I was going to receive a check instead which has still not materialized. My battery died that I purchased from *** two years ago. The battery is supposed to have a three year warranty. I had to call triple A to get towed to my mechanic so I could get a new battery. I was working at the time on the road so this caused me a great inconvenience. I also had to wait close to an hour after I filled the claim as an emergency because I was in the middle of the street and I didn't feel safe and I was also cold. The service is horrible and so is the battery service. I didn't trust using the battery service again so I ended up paying $150 for a new one from my mechanic.
