1 starThe service is terrible. Third attempt to have a car towed. Keep leaving work to meet the driver and first time, never showed after 4 hours, second time, quote 45 minutes, arrived 3.5 hours late and garage was closed, third time, hour late already and have been on hold 1 hour 26 minutes to find out if he is coming.Service and customer service is horrendous. Save your money. wanted zero stars but had to choose one.And they do not call you back.Review fromMarianne M

1 starOn 10/22/23, my son's car had a flat tire on a busy highway in ************. He immediately called *** at 1:00 pm, and was told he would have assistance in one hour. He received a text at 1:15 PM, from Driver, for 15 minute arrival time. At 2:00 PM, there was no more tracking to assist my son on the highway. My son called *** back, and was told he would receive a call back in 5 minutes; 2:40 PM.no call, no show so my son had to call the ************ police ***** to shield him and attempt to change the tire himself. He never received any follow up assistance or calls. The purpose of the *** membership was to never be stranded, and *** failed. We are requesting a refund.Review fromDoug R

5 starsYesterday Saturday 10/21 my siblings and I were heading back home after helping our elderly parents pack their home up to move. It was down pouring and poor visibility on I-93 in **, we were heading southbound and suddenly we heard a horrible sound. My sister instinctively pulled over to the minimal shoulder on the very busy highway. In a panic we all realized the front driver side tire was shredded. I have been a AAA member for 28years, I contacted and with the new updates they coordinated my location immediately to AAA FLEET CONCORD and within 5 minutes I received a call from ************** ****** He met us in under 15 minutes. However, to our dismay we found my sister did not have the wheel lock key for her tires. ***** did not hesitate, he hooked the car up to the tow, we piled into the truck. I must add, because we were helping our parents move, we had their cat with us as well. Which made this experience even worse but also even more hysterical. ***** towed us to the gas station then helped us locate a dealership to get us a new tire. He was delightful, so kind, and helpful and made what should have been a horrible experience a very funny memory. I have had quite a few experiences requiring AAA in the past, this was the BEST SERVICE, I have ever experienced. ***** was absolutely INCREDIBLE! We will always remember this experience fondly and we will continue to recommend AAA especially because of this experience! I hope you are able to find him and let him know how truly amazing he is, he is an ASSET to your company and yesterday he was our absolute hero!Review fromMark K

1 starHorrible company! I called for a tow, clearly described my vehicle to the person on the phone. 1 ton truck, 11,500lbs dual wheel. Was left stranded for 5 hours waiting for the tow driver to actually show up. When the driver did finally arrive, he stated he can not tow my vehicle as it had dual wheels and was too big . And just drove off leaving me stranded. **** never use them again and never recommend to anyone to use their services!Review fromMichelle O

1 starAAA replaced my car battery in November of 2021. It is already dead and needs to be replaced. A tech came to jump the car today but the battery wasnt charged enough to test it. So I was told I need to get it to a mechanic, have them charge it, call AAA back, and have them return to re-test it. The tech specifically said in his experience this is a bad battery but hes not allowed to replace it because he cant test it. Ok so your battery is so bad it cant be tested, it needs to be replaced, but you cant replace it because its too bad to test?? Great warranty. Member relations girl was terrible. Give her zero stars for no help whatsoever. Now were stuck paying for a battery because we dont want to deal with their BS. Why cant they charge it themselves btw???Review fromTiara L

1 starI dont feel like they even need one star. Im in club 240 but called to get a battery and they sent someone from club 212 since the area I was broken down in. The person came to give me a new battery connected the wrong battery to my car causing the car not to have no power to turn on or start. I called again the next day hoping that something he did was just a mistake but the next service tech came out said they would have to tow it to have someone look at the care and that they will be 100% responsible for any damage cause. I callled on sept 2023 when this happen the rep for 212 and 240 never put my claim in an I wanted to complain about that. I called over an over still got no one to help after a week I then reached a rep to report my claim. No one called me from club 212 left messages still no response. Very unprofessional club 240 rep for the claim stated they will only do half of the damages and when they should be in charge of all the damages made on my car. I ask to speak to someone that makes this decision but unfortunately still couldnt speak to no one. I sent them the report of my damages but to find out that it wouldnt be fully covered when someone working for them mis handled my car. Im reporting this cause when on the phone reporting my claim they said they will be responsible for any damages to my car and they would get it up back and working an all the pieces that were needed to get the car turned back on they would be responsible. Now they are saying they can only pay half of my damages. I dont think Ill call AAA again to help if this is the way they handle situation when a battery tech does mishandle your car an mess it up an have you with a car for one month. They are bad for business I encourage people to not use them for this is how they handle thing an cheat you out of car repair when it was there faultReview fromCatherine M

1 starThere should be an option to not give ANY stars! My daughter broke down in the city two days ago in the early evening. AAA was called and we were told it would be approximately 2 hours. 4 1/2 hours later, when I called to find out WHY she was STILL sitting in her disabled car, I was told that long distance tows were not convenient as it is very busy at night in the city and the drivers dont want to tie up their trucks to do them! WHAT good is AAA offering tows up to 100 miles if they wont do them unless it is convenient for their drivers? She was told she could leave her keys in the car and leave it unlocked and they would get it the next day at some point!!! First of all, WHO in their right mind is going to leave their car unlocked with the keys in it in the city - disabled or not? WHY were we not told before 4 1/2 hours had passed that no one was going to help her. She then told them they could take it somewhere close, and they still couldnt give her an estimate on time! She cancelled the request sometime before 1 AM! NO ONE should have to sit in a disabled vehicle for that long expecting help, that is PAID FOR, to arrive and be treated like this. I used to give my kids AAA as gifts at Christmas thinking I was helping to keep them safe I was wrong! A refund is in order and we will use our Insurance Roadside Assistance from this point forward. I would NEVER recommend AAA to anyone!Review fromKayla H

1 starMy elderly grandparents recently had a terrible experience with AAA Roadside Assistance. They were originally given a 4.5-hour window of time for the tow truck to come, and fortunately, I was able to take them to my house nearby to wait. The window of time passed, with no update from AAA or the tow company. My grandfather called back 3 times, receiving new ETAs from an automated voice or dispatcher that the tow company was en route, but they never showed up. One time he was told the truck was rerouted to a bigger job and was already extremely far away from our current location; so how were we told it was 19 minutes away from us? After 6.5 hours, we notified the local PD that their car was going to have to stay overnight and I finally brought them home. My grandfather received a call at midnight that the tow company was on its way, and had to get up in the middle of the night to get to his car. An 11-hour difference from when he originally called AAA for a tow less than ********************************************** that AAA would treat anyone this way, especially long-time members, and was very stressful for several members of our family. I don't know if this was an issue with AAA or the contracted local tow company, but the customer service we received was abysmal; we were not provided helpful or timely updates throughout the day. They even told him he would owe money for the tow and said he didn't have qualifying coverage/membership (he does and has for over 12 years). Were they trying to con him into paying more or are they just that disorganized? We are all now questioning the value of our AAA memberships and the commitment of the company to its mission and service.Review fromKeith M

1 starWhen I go to post this ad, if you see a single star know that I had to provide it in order to leave the review. I am encouraging as many people as possible to leave this disaster of an organization. I have been a plus member since 2011. I finally had a situation where I needed roadside assistance and I was left basically abandoned. Numerous calls to customer service stranded 30 miles from home and 7+ hours later, I abandoned my car and took private transportation home. Scathing, social media posts caused them to reach out to me. Arrangements with a customer service agent to have the cost of my private tow service as well as my Uber ride home reimbursed by AAA. Not only did they leave me high and dry on the side of the road for over seven hours, they even told me the delays would be even longer, they are rejecting reimbursement of my tow costs. Just a reminder to anybody who can place a AAA request or roadside assistance, you can also call for a private tow. It will ultimately cost you less.
