**************** for AAA is very bad. Particularly for their auto insurance. There is always difficulty getting a representative on the phone. I had a question about my AAA auto insurance and the person I finally got through to, said they "didn't know the answer" and that I should try to call back tomorrow... I tried using my online account with them, but it only referred me back to the same phone number that I'd tried earlier! This used to be a good reliable company. I don't know what happened to them? The next time my renewal comes up, I think I'm going with a different company.

AAA NO LONGER HONORS THEIR CONTRACTS WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS.. They take your money for a service that is suppose to send help when needed BUT they leave you stranded. THIS IS A SERIOUS SCAM and should be investigated as a criminal business.

No CANCEL button on the *** website. I tried to turn off AUTORENEW, but then months later got a bill saying ********* was on. Tried to call and cancel (because there's no cancel button on the website), and was asked an endless stream of "identification" questions. Why do they need my birthdate and cellphone number to cancel? Why did I receive a bill saying I would automatically be charged (I turned autorenewal off several months ago)?

My name is *********************. Leaving a restaurant in ********* ** around 9:30 pm Sunday night. Our ****** wouldn't start due to a malfunction in the electronic steering lock. We called AAA. About 1 hour later, Interstate showed up with a tow truck. There were 5 of ** consisting of my wife, my son, his wife, and his 77 year-old mother-in-law. We informed him it wasn't the battery but he put his charger on it anyway. I asked about ** riding in the tow truck. He said it fits 4. But then said he had an emergency call but notified AAA so they would come for ** and the car. Then took off leaving the car where it sat and ** stranded. I called and asked about how long it would be before they came. It was now 10:30 pm. She said the normal stereo-type ******* They don't have a driver available and it will be about 2 hours. The restaurant closes in an hour and a half. Fortunately, we found a friend to pick ** up and I cancelled going back the next morning. It took 4 more calls before they stopped fumbling and put it through. After 2 hours a AAA driver showed up and towed the car. He himself was okay but your system had gone to h*** Neither AAA management or Interstate Towing five a **** about people. So next time you send Interstate Towing have them come with a smart car and their little car starter rather than having them ** all the gas required to operate a tow truck with seating capacity that doesn't tow the car and leaves the people stranded. I can see why your ratings are 1 star out of 5 with a 1.11/5. My experience shows them as generous.

Don't offer a premium plan with mediocre service!Being out on a priority list for a roadside call by the state police and then calling and saying you have no drivers available? What kind of c*** is that?2 teenage girls left stranded on the side of a highway because of your negligence. It wasn't my account but I had to go to the rescue and help them! You should be ashamed offering services to customers that your are unable to follow through with!

Have been a long standing customer of AAA. called for a tow at 5:30 pm off of a major highway in Massachusetts... car sat on highway unattended per their directions for 12 hours. Made multiple phone calls for status updates, assistance and information and was promised return calls that were never received. Needless to say their service does not even qualify for one star but had to select in order to post. poor customer service and lies throughout the whole process. Looking for alternative programs

I purchased event tickets thru AAA, and had the worst experience. I purchased tickets for a 3pm show and recieved tickets for the 11am show. After calling the help line I was told that it would be an easy fix, that was the 1st lie. I was lied to repeatedly and mislead. I asked from the start if I should refund my tickets and was told no this will be fixed. I was told over email to email my 11am tickets to them, and then I would receive the tickets that I purchased. That was another lie. After I sent them, they responded that they didnt have the tickets I purchased to the 3pm show and then offered me awful seats nowhere near comparable to the ones I purchased. I asked why wasnt I told this before sending back the 11am ones, no one answered. My only options are to be refunded which will take 5 to 7 buisness days, so I wont be able to use that to towards purchasing new tickets, or I can take the awful seats where we won't be able to see the show. The constant lies and misleading weren't the worst part of this whole situtation, being brushed off because I wasn't happy with the two non viable options and wanted them help me find comparable seats. They stopped responding to me. I had to call multiple times, only to hear there is nothing they can do.

I wanted to bring to your attention an uacceptable AAA experience my family had on Thursday 3/9.My Son waited 6.5 hours on Thursday 3/9 from 4pm to 10pm for AAA to tow his car, with no success. After several phone calls during this time to AAA from him and myself, he finally was picked up by his roommate to go home for the evening.Honestly, I would have appreciated at 4pm, at the FIRST call to just have AAA say, "sorry we dont have the bandwidth help you". We would have been able to call a tow ourselves, and get the car out the location it was at, and into a mechanics, instead of wasting 6 hours, and having to start the **************** again on Friday morning. We had now lost any oportunity of getting the mechanic to look at the car on friday before the weekend due to this delay.I hope AAA is able to put some remediation actions into place to avoid any future customers going through a similar experience.

I was broke down at 7 PM on a Friday night a female alone on side of the road. I called and requested a Tow Truck at 7pm and was told I would receive a call from the tow truck driver. 30 minutes later I called back for an update and the rep was so rude, she in so many words said don't care you are a female on a Friday night, on a main highway alone. It's Friday night we are busy if you want to pay for your own tow truck be my guest. It will be at least a 3 hour wait, anything else I can help you with? At 11 pm I get a call from the towing company that is going to pick my car up, they have been calling AAA for work every ********************************************** twice, was told there was no calls for tows by AAA. I guess if you are a tow truck driver you can call for work. This company that towed me was told 4 times they had no calls to put them on. Wow, I was sitting on the side of the road, the tow truck literally pasted me twice looking for work and AAA said no??? I ended up with ***** bill as well. Please pass the word of this horrible company. This is not the first time that I was given horrible service, a year ago I locked my keys in the car and the never routed a driver. Took 8 hours to get into my car and 4 calls to AAA!

*** tried several times to contact AAA Northeast for some clarity regarding a partial reimbursement but havent heard back from anyone since February 16, 2023 so wanted to warn folks. As Ive explained to ***, Im seeking reimbursement b/c as a member they promised to a certain number of tows a year and a discounted rate on a brand new battery should we need it.I shared with numerous personnel that *** sent several vehicles that couldnt tow my car because they claimed I needed a different truck b/c of the make/model of my car and claimed it was in a challenging position they couldnt reach (although they were the folks who towed it to that exact spot). And ultimately refused to send a tow truck forcing me to have my family step in and handle b/c it was an emergency and pay out of pocket to outside vendors including a tow company and auto shop. When the auto shop inspected the car they noted that the battery was dead and couldnt possibly be brand new.I shared with *** my findings and asked for a complete reimbursement of the battery and the tow since those were included in my coverage. After tons of back and forth (1st time and nearly immediate refusal to honor it), *** only received part of the reimbursement and told by *********************** that I wouldnt receive the total for the battery b/c its under warranty now. She stated, If we refund for the new battery than the warranty would be null and void. *** asked for clarity since the auto shop replaced the *** battery that I already paid for ($179.99) and I had to buy and install another ($358.76) along with a tow $(108.35). As of today after pointing out the discrepancy, *** only received half.
