This company left me in a parking lot in ******* ** instead of towing my car to my house in port ****** ** my car had a blow out on rte 287 in ******* ** at 10;30 pm they said they did not have a driver to tow it 43 miles I had to sit in the car for 5 hours or try to get a Uber at 2 am to take me home and it would have cost 100 dollars

I've been a "Premier" member of AAA Northeast for years. The quality of the services they provide is all over the map: one time you're broken down, the guy comes reasonably quickly and everything works fine; but equally often it's the other way. Last week, despite our having been members for years, when we broke down and needed a tow they managed to think we lived in a completely different zip code than where we actually do, and sent the driver to the other side of the city, about 30 miles away. Luckily I was monitoring the situation and spotted the error and phoned it in, and after about 20 minutes they managed to correct it, and started the **************** again and finally sent the driver to the right place -- which resulted in a delay of better than two hours. This is what happens with AAA Northeast: you the customer have to actually manage their service delivery process by constantly watching over their shoulder, lest they mess something up, which they often do. It's a pure old-style ********************** with no process maturity and no effective ******************* straight out of **************** of the 50's,. 60's, and 70's. If there was a better competitor, I'd switch to them in an instant,, even if they cost more -- but unfortunately I don't think there is.

AAA Automatically signed me up for renewal and charged my card card $161 without any verbal or written authorization, or consent from me. And will not refund any monies until its cleared which could take up to five days but in the meantime, Im out of money. Very discouraging.

I had to replace my AAA auto battery because the battery failed less than 5 months later. No interest in working with me to resolve or compensate for defective product as "I" didn't follow warranty when replacement was needed. ***, they never gave me a copy of the warranty at time of purchase and what was I supposed to do when you have a battery ready to fail in the middle of winter. After 20 plus years with AAA and I am ready to drop them.

It was a Sunday evening around 8 pm and my vehicle was parked behind another that was needing out to get to work. My car was completely dead. I called AAA since I have been a member 3 years and paying my monthly dues. They told me a technician was dispatched and should be here to help by 10:30 pm. 2 and a half hour wait. ******************************************************************************************** and will call when they find someone. 20 minutes later a different person calls me and tells me they cannot find anyone to help me at all and to maybe call back Monday morning to see if someone could come help. What?! This is unacceptable. I did not plan for my car battery to die at 8 pm on Sunday night. Yes, I was home, but it was still an emergency since the person I was blocking in needed to be at work. I pay my dues every month for what? Its the first time Ive ever even needed to use the service and Im afraid to ever call on them again. What if Im stranded somewhere? Will anyone show up? I am extremely angry and disappointed. Just because I live in a rural area shouldnt mean no one can help me. What is the point of my membership?

I called AAA this morning 12/12/2022 for a tow of my trike at 7:15 am this morning, then I started getting the texts 7:19 I received my service number saying a possible survey will follow.at 8:20am I received another text stating that the driver would be enroute soon then i got a phone call at 9:47am saying that they were just finishing up another tow and the driver will be reaching out shortly, I then called AAA at 11:08am stating I never heard from the driver then AAA called me back at 11:31 saying the driver went on another call and would call me with an eta within the hour, then I called back at 12:30 because I never heard from the driver, they told me the driver would call me within 10 to 20 minutes . at 1:07pm I called them back. at that point they assured me I would hear back from the driver but never did. I called again at 1:16 and demanded to speak to a supervisor who left me on hold for approximately 30 minutes at which point said it would be several hours, but she would see what she can do. After waiting 7-hours for a tow, I was forced to find other means. As a result, I not only lost a full day of work/pay, I was also forced to pay additional to have my bike towed by a private company. I have been a member of AAA since ****, 36 years but I find them to be unreliable when it comes to providing a service that I pay for on a regular basis. AAA will tell you they will send someone out, but the reality is what they tell you and the action taken to are completely different. Buyer beware.i think AAA should reimburse for this day

Been a AAA plus member over 25 years and fortunately hadn't needed service often. This week, my daughter had electrical issues while driving, pulled into parking lot and then car wouldn't start. AAA service did arrive within an hour of 1st call and rather than tow he started car with a jump. But driver never checked to see if car was safe to drive. As he left, car would not release from drive due to faulty brake relay ( determined by mechanic later). Tried to call him back immediately through AAA to tow car but she was put back into regular queue as if this was a different service call. 3 hours later, still no truck after multiple calls. By 6pm ( now dark), received call back from dispatch who updated us and said they are unable to get an ETA on tow truck and could be another 1-2 hours. They would only use one service station and would not call a different tow operator. By this time (over 4 hours for her) , I was able to get to her and help engage car into drive and bring to mechanic. Patient relations offered an insignificant credit as compensation. What a failure of promised service and and no real accountability. Loyalty means nothing!!

Horrible service. Had a accident and needed a tow. We were on a busy road and it took over 5 1/2 hours to get towed. Many calls to AAA and many lies later the tow truck showed up.Have been with AAA for years, not much longer.

I have had triple A for a couple years and hardly used. Recently I purchased a ********** and upgraded my triple A membership to cover the Rv. On Tuesday November 17th 2022 at 9:16 a.m. I had an appointment to get my RV serviced. I called to receive service for a tow for my RV. Technician couldn't tow, not right tow truck. I called on Wednesday the 18th for a tow. Again I was told technician on the way. When I arrived at my house, the technician said he couldn't tow with a flat bed. Ok. I called again that afternoon, to no avail was there going to be a tow truck available that day. Thursday the 19th, I called again, they said technician on the way. called and said they were at my house. I get to my house he left. He told my housemate he couldn't tow with the truck. I called Triple A again that afternoon, no trucks avail. Friday the 20th I called and now I am not happy to hear that they do not have a truck to transport my RV. They don't own big enough tow trucks. I said then why do you offter RV coverage? The answer was they just started to add RV's coverage. Two weeks prior to this I had to have my RV towed because of a gas line leak, THE ***** It.My complaint is that I had an appt set up for the day I called to be towed. I had to continually call for a tow and it ended up not getting towed. I pay for coverage and they refused to get a tow truck availabel for the size of my Campervan. They wanted me to find a commercial tow company, hire them, then reimburse me. Hey NO!!! Thats why I have Triple A. They need to get the trucks to tow RVs if they offer a coverage plan. I thought they were mismanaged and giving false info to me when I kept hearing, the techinican is on the way. Please look into this.Much appreciation.*************************
