I would like to file a complaint against AAA for being negligent and failing to respond to an emergency call on the edge of an interstate. My daughter waited 5hrs at edge of busy interstate and no one ever showed up. Dispite multiple calls stating it was a dangerous area to be broke down ,we were repeatedly put on hold for 20mins or more. We have had AAA for 5drivers for 17yrs. We will NEVER renew our membership again, and I would warn others that this service is a scam!!No one from AAA ever called to see if she still needed help or returned our calls! The car was not drivable due to hitting debis that had been in the road. At one point a driver called to say he was right around the corner and would be there in about 10mins.....never showed! My husband is a firefighter as has responded to many calls for people getting hit on the edge of the highways. THIS WAS UNACCEPTABLE!!! We finally did call state police for scene protection and they called a wrecker service to come. All this took 5hrs and put my daughter in danger!AAA is a scam!

I purchase a defensive driving course. I was at the very last module after putting in countless hours in completing this course.I was told by customer service that I would need to repurchase the program. As I was locked out of my account. The customer service *********** that there was nothing that they can do to reset my account.I was very frustrated at the fact that I had to restart this course from the beginning and paying additional fee to complete this course. I feel that this is a failure and policy and needs to be rectified by the company.

This brief is solely for the purpose of consumer awareness. I will make this as brief as possible because I believe the *** is a very useful and appreciated service for most of the commuting public. We all have our unique set of circumstances from day to day and since a one size fits all protocol will never equate to complete satisfaction, this is one of those events. My vehicle transmission malfunctioned on a car my nurse daughter was using for work. I requested a tow from *** to my regular auto repair shop, approximately three miles. **** inspection ,I was given a quote that was well beyond my ability to currently afford the repair. I couldn't leave the vehicle at the shop and decided to have the vehicle towed to my house less than four miles from the shop. This way because I was retired, I could save up enough to have the vehicle repaired. When I called the *** for a tow to my residence a few days later, I was denied. They refused to authorize the tow because the shop the vehicle was towed to in their opinion, had the ability to make the repair. I explained the situation but to no avail. I felt that as a member, I was *********** three tow's a calendar year with a maximum tow coverage of 5 miles per tow. I wasn't shopping for a better repair price, I wanted the vehicle towed back to my house and would take care of the repair when I could afford it. I also had to find a replacement form of transportation for my single mom daughter. Fortunately, I had towing coverage on my insurance policy and had the vehicle towed. I wrote a letter of concern to corporate *** explaining this inadequacy even though I knew it would go nowhere as usual, and I was proven right. But I wanted the commuting public to be aware that these types of policies exist within your *** towing package and when it comes to towing , you might be wise to consider other options. An informed consumer is a ***************************, now you be the judge.......

I have been a long time customer of Aaa ************************. Until recently, I have had no issues and have been completely satisfied with their services except the road side assistance which generally poor. So, here is why Im writing this. Due to a lapsing coverage with my auto policy, I had to get a six month policy, which cost me 2 to 3 grand. Prior to the renewal of the six month policy for another 2 to 3 grand, I contacted *** and spoke with *******************, insurance agent, to have AAA rewrite for a 12 month policy which would cost the same price as the 6 month policy. The agent that I was dealing with conveniently ignored my emails and calls, and when I called repeatedly, I could not reach anyone that could help me rewrite the policy. Finally, I spoke with an alternative agent , who informed me that because my policy was now expired (it took that long to reach anyone who could help me), I had to pay another 2 to 3 grand for a six month policy that I explicitly stated that I did not want. This was NOT FAIR BECAUSE I contacted *** in advance to the expiration of the six month policy and they said oh well. Is that even LEGAL? I paid to renew the premium but later switched to a different company where I got what I asked AAA for and more. In this instance, Aaa northeast lacks transparency, professionalism, and has unfair practices that rob the American people of their hard earned money.

Last year one of my vehicles (a rare *** ************** M3) had a left rear tire blow out. It required towing since that car has no spare, and it was night-time. I won't go into details but after 2+ hours of waiting they called and said they would not be able to provide a tow and that I should leave the car on the side of a dark, no streetlights road overnight and they could deal with it in the morning. Seriously? The car would be gone (stolen) by morning. I called the exact same company that they had originally identified for the tow and they sent a truck out in ~30 mins. When I asked the driver what was up with AAA he said they don't like working with AAA because they are underpaid and treated like ****.Most recently we had a need for a tow and wasted over three hours waiting for the truck they promised in 45 mins. It never came. What did come after all of that time was a call from AAA saying that they couldn't provide a tow until the next day. The car was over an hour from home so my son was stranded. And to top it off they told him to call 911! ***************************************************** ** to call them for anything else. We managed to work it out with a friend but again, AAA failed. For the first instance, they waived my membership fee for the following year (2023) but refused to provide any compensation for the second event. If I pay for something I expect to receive it. AAA, despite its claims that its focus is on customer satisfaction, does not honor its agreements with its customers.

I have had 2 experience in the last 6 weeks where I called for assistance and NOBODY EV ER SHOWED UP! The first time we waited all night in a parking garage, calling multiple times to get an update. They said someone would be there in an hour. After 4 hours and many phone calls, they said nobody was coming because nobody was available and they suggested I call a local tow truck service!Yesterday, our car got stuck in a snow bank and need to be pulled out. I was told they would be there in 90 minutes. Nobody came. It was -5 degrees. I kept calling and they kept telling me that a dispatcher would call me back and nobody would ever call back. I finally had to flag down someone with a truck and ask for help. He pulled our car out using a chain. I am SO frustrated! I have been a member since **** and I have never been treated so badly.

After waiting 4 hours on the side of the highway for a tow truck, and being told every single time I called the tow truck would be here in 25 minutes. It NEVER CAME. After causing such a stink I finally got in touch with someone who said "oh we thought you were going to tow and stow" meaning we were going to leave the keys and our vehicle on the side of the road. Which I never would have agreed to nor was I told that was the plan. Then I was told they were not able to tow my vehicle to the shop because they were so busy. After I finally called the shop directly they stated "oh the driver is right here I will send him out". AAA should be ashamed to charge what they do *** then contract with companies who can not provide the stated services.

I been with AAA for the pass 4 years. I have the premium with the battery. I received a mail today that states I was down graded. I call AAA they said for the pass three years I used to many tows so they took it upon themselves to downgrade me without letting me and on the note tab they said the customer requested a downgrade. Upon researching with customer service, she came back and said I used to much tows. So, AAA what are we paying all this money for? Just to sit so you guys can make out at the end of the year! This service is c*** if I could leave zero stars I would

Actually in 2022 I signed up to Premier Memebership. So lets talk about how AAA treated you when you have no help and also a type of car they cant even change the tire or enough parts to do it. I almost wait 24 hrs just to try to convince to them to town my car to a safe address. I spent my whole December 31st and January 1st trying to find where the put my car and when then gonna a find a town lets remember AAA they did charge me on time $200 something from my banking account. Unfortunately everything when I call there is a excuse to not do it or made me wait for more 3 hours masking me to giving up on the service. I did try to write a review online or email them guess what they just have the roadside service number.
