I have been forced to use cvs nearly 15 miles away in another state since my rite aid closed, my doctors are in **********, 150+ miles away from me because there are no doctors, pharmacies, or anything in my city. Every month whether mine or my family's prescriptions, cvs has been unhelpful and downright rude. Every month I have had to call shop cvs and file a complaint because of how they treat me in the store. I call them on the phone and they refuse to answer questions, hang up on me, or put me on hold and then ghost me. They put some on hold, fill others, force me to call and figure out why, and give me the same attitude every time. They won't fill one particular medication because they need some diagnosis code which I've had to call and give them so they could fill it because they refuse to keep it on file, and then they have to order it every time because they refuse to keep it in the store even though I get it every month. A full week after they received my subscription, it's finally ready for pickup, but they already lost it and I have to stand in the store for half an hour until they decide they are done looking through what looks like ****** unsorted, packaged prescriptions and have to cancel and refill it, which means ordering it again and making me wait again for something I've been out of since after my doctor submitted the prescription. Once, they tried to charge me for a refill for my child's prescription. Told me if I don't like the way I'm treated I should go to another pharmacy. Now they've decided they simply don't want to fill my pain medication because my doctor is more than 50 miles away from the store. Eventually I even spoke with the corporate pharmacy and they refuse to help. They said they give stores absolute autonomy, so there's no forcing them to fill my prescriptions or even treat me like a human being. The pharmacist doesn't "feel comfortable" doing their job anymore and is literally allowed to f me and my whole family off like this.

I just had a prescription filled at CVS in **********, ***They screwed up the prescription by giving only 6 pills instead of the 30 listed on the prescription. They never said a word, they just handed me the mistake in a bag and walked away.Calling them was a waste of time, you cannot actually call them at all. You get prompts for the website and other automated nonsense but never a customer service rep.You will get to leave a message that's all. A pharmacist did call back about an hour + later and could not comprehend the error and wanted me to drive back to the store and discuss it further in person. Unbelievable. When I indicated I needed a real time solution she hung up.CVS has no customer service whatsoever. I will have to call the doctor back on Monday, get a new prescription and fill it at an independent pharmacy that treats customers like they ***************************** does not.

Terrible rude pharmacist. Careless unprofessional completely unempathetic and just volatile. After denying my medication which I need for chronic pain and a current acute pain from a terrible car accident she decided that I should not have my medication early. She then when I told her I was unhappy about this choice basically kicked me out of the store and told me that she wouldn't be feeling any scripts for me so God forbid I get the augmentin that I really needed to help my diverticulitis go away this woman deserves to be unlicensed and put in prison

CVS sells the Libre 3 diabetic monitor. Most of the time they dont last the 2 weeks as its supposed to. CVS is selling a defective product and when I went in to explain that the monitors are not lasting the 2 weeks, cvs told me to contact the manufacturer.I get this product from cvs with a prescription from my doctor. I shouldnt have to call the manufacturer. CVS should be calling the manufacturer not me. The Asian pharmacist was not customer friendly at all. I will be switching pharmacies.

My concern and complaint is regarding the Cvs Pharmacy Carepass. I applied for it. *** they withdraw $5.00 dollars for your bank account every month or pay a one time fee for the whole year and the customer gets 20% off of all the ******************** products. In return they will give you a $10.00 dollars sort of a coupon with an expiration date that would last for 30 days; if the customer don't use it, they will loose it, so the *** representative reply. The Carepass sounds like a great deal. This is where i have the concern as i went through the experience last month of June 2024 where i didn't get to use my two months of April and May each month $10.00 dollars *** coupon due to (X) reasons. My concern is that *** is putting an expiration date on this Carepass coupons where this sort of coupons should (not have) an expiration date it should be unlimited until customers get to use them because it should be a Fair Trade example: customer allows *** to withdraw $5.00 dollars or the one time yearly fee from their bank account where in return *** says we will give you $10.00 dollars for your support and top we give you 20% off of all cvs products. The *** representative kept going back to the coupons policy where if you don't use it, you will loose it. I reply/express I don't put no restrictions or expiration date(s) to *** when they are withdrawing the money out of my bank account. So you telling me you/*** can get away of taking my money and put an expiration date on $10.00 dollars and call it coupon and I can't get my money back for the months of April and May because ofthe coupons policy. I reply/express that is stealing that is no fair trade or deal *** is taking advantage of customers like myself and winning and the customer is loosing to the money deal/trade; the Carepass coupon should be (considered unlimited) if the customer couldn't use it that month have it roll over to the next month. After going through this upsetting moment. I filed a complaint and got resolved.

I would give 0 stars if I could. CVS Specialty and ****************** are terrible. Unfortunately, I have to use them as my prescription coverage through my employer is with them. When I first began having to use them in 2022, I found out that they do not allow co-pay assistance to actually help you as Caremark doesn't apply that money to your deductible. I then had to un-enroll from co-pay assistance (which I had used no problem for 5 years previously with *************** Shield) and go to self-pay for my very expensive medication but was luckily able to enroll in another assistance program from the drug manufacturer. Everything then went fine for the remainder of 2022 and all of 2023 - my medication was filled and billed to me, applied to my deductible, and I was able to get some assistance directly from the manufacturer. For some reason in 2024, the first time I filled my med, CVS took it upon themselves to call AmGen without my consent and the person at AmGen incorrectly gave them my direct reimbursement account and thus began a huge mess that I'm still trying to fix SEVEN months later. I finally got a corrected bill for my 1/3/24 fill, paid it, and then found out it was applied to the wrong date of service - so yet ANOTHER escalation is being done. I have wasted HOURS on the phone with these idiots and I'm at my wits end. You never get the same answer, it's just a big run-around. Then the billing department harasses you when they should be able to see the countless notes on your account that the billing is incorrect, is in escalation, I'm happy to pay when you can provide me with a correct bill, etc. It's like none of the employees or departments within CVS or Caremark talk to each other and the make the insured waste their time trying to explain to them what needs to be done - they should know. Terrible. I'm also planning on complaining to my HR department so they will hopefully consider partnering with a different company for prescription coverage.

Today I went to pick up a prescription that was ready to be picked up. We chose to use the drive Thru. After waiting in line for 30 minutes and the car at the window had shut down his vehicle, we were able to leave the queue and go inside. Was told that their computer system was down. I was angry that they allowed a guy to sit in his car when there were 5 cars in queue waiting for service. Any other time I have been told that if the wait is to be longer than a few minutes to go park and come back in 5 minutes. But no they allowed this guy to sit there while everyone else was assuming that the employees were just being lazy. And yes they were lazy. There were 5 of them just standing around doing nothing. Do you think that they could at least send someone out to inform the other 5 cars of the problem. I was told that it would be at least another hour before any service could be restored. This lack of attention to the customer is unacceptable. I was mocked, jeered and grinned at because I was angry that nobody would inform anyone else of the issue. Why did they allow this guy to sit in his car? Why did they not go out and inform the other drivers. It is all comes down to pure laziness and lack of any customer care. When I told them that I would be contacking the store manager ******************, they just laughed and jeered telling me to go ahead.

The customer service just keeps getting worse. Pharmacies in general are horrible but this place is the top of the list. First they started closing for lunch, apparently because they dont have enough pharmacists to work each store. (Aka, we dont wanna pay a decent wage so we cant attract and retain people). When you call the store with an issue youre sent through a queue from ****, finally directing you to the app.. which if it provided the information needed, we wouldnt have to call. NOW, you cant even reach a real live person you have to leave a voicemail and WAIT for a return call. I called at 4:00pm and they close soon, so will I get a call back before the end of the day? Probably not!!! There are so many ways to make prescriptions easier, but these fools (all pharmacies) are working from a model that my grandparents used. They need to step into this century and start using tech to their advantage why cant there be a video pharmacist on duty during lunch so that they can still dispense medications (on the off chance that someone needs a consult). BTW in 40 years of getting prescriptions I have NEVER once had a consultation. Why not pick up lockers for reoccurring prescriptions. Bar code opens the door.. asks about consultation. Pay at the kiosk. Boom done. Pay attention to Amazon. Or youll be out of business like every other brick and mortar these days. This generation does not stand for stupid business nonsense. Theyll go somewhere else and you wont need extra pharmacists because youll be closed down. EDIT: the app said that my Rx was being held up and to contact the pharmacy. Turns out it was in progress and just hadnt been filled. Thanks a lot for the extra stress CVS. Ill be moving my business to *********.

Review for CVS Pharmacy Voice Activation System I recently had the misfortune of using the new voice activation system at CVS Pharmacy, and it was an incredibly frustrating experience. This system is a major inconvenience and is far from working properly.Firstly, the system consistently fails to recognize simple commands, even when spoken clearly and slowly. I found myself repeating the same instructions multiple times, only to be met with the system's constant misunderstanding. This wasted a significant amount of my time and left me feeling incredibly frustrated. The interface is also not user-friendly. The prompts are lengthy and complicated, making the whole process even more cumbersome. I had to navigate through numerous irrelevant options before getting to the one I needed, which was a tedious ordeal. To make matters worse, there is no option to speak to a live representative. When the system fails, which it often does, there's no way to quickly get the help of a human. This lack of support exacerbates the frustration and makes the experience even more unpleasant.Overall, the voice activation system at CVS Pharmacy is a huge disappointment. It is unreliable, inefficient, and more of a hindrance than a help. CVS needs to seriously reconsider the implementation of this technology and focus on improving its accuracy and user experience. Until then, I will be avoiding this service and recommending others do the same.
