CVS is continually misleading applicants who are seeking gainful employment. I personally have tried to get a job as a Mailroom Clerk with their headquarters in ********** a couple times now. Each time it goes absolutely nowhere! This company is not taking applications, and instead redirecting people who wish to apply through countless other sign in pages. Assuming to mine for data they can sell to brokers. When I tried to apply for this Clerk position, I was redirected multiple times. Then landed on a page that states the job I am applying for does not exist. Yet I found this job through Indeed posted bt CVS. Are you kidding me? Shenanigans! I have seen countless jobs reposted by CVS on Indeed and I have not heard a single person who has successfully gotten hired by this company at all. I am filing this review so others can be aware of the shady practices CVS are committing when it comes to "hiring". All these companies love to claim how urgently they are hiring, yet never seem to hire anyone. This has got to stop and someone needs to investigate CVS and these other companies for their ineptitude.

Something is very wrong about my experience with this store. I have gotten very sick from a prescription filled at this store. Since taking this prescription my ability to walk has decreased so much that even on crutches walking is very hard. I have excruciating pain....etc..well,looks like the batch of meds I got were contaminated. So I go to CVS to ask for the lot number to report to *** the possible contamination that *** necessitate a lot being withdrawn across the country. There was panic. All employees insisted that CVS does not have have any database or records of a lot number for this prescription. This is completely unacceptable to me. If the prescription got contaminated and other people are sick from it,I want to be *** the drug lot gets recalled.Always before today CVS employees were nice. But not today, when I had a severe problem. They were extremely short tempered. I did try calling the store just so they know that I,as a good customer, will never even enter a store that keeps no record of their pharmaceuticals. The guy was super nasty to me on the phone so I hung up.

As a former employee of the *********************************** i have to agree wih the reviews preceeding me that 1 star is too good for CVS. This company cares nothing about the customers and even less about the associates. They have no concern for the safety of their employees as they allow them to work alone for hours at a time, carry register drawers thru the store when by themselves for all to see, and have no problem allowing employees to take garbage out at night when alone. In fact, my former manager **** insisted on it. Why? Because he didnt work nights and was too lazy to do it himself in the morning. His incompetence is clear as you look around the store at the mess and empty shelves. He treats people as if they were indentured servants backed by an equally incompetent DM that lets him get away with it. HR disregards calls for help from associates. Its amazing how the company cuts hours on a store level, leaving associates struggling and unsafe claiming there is no money. Yet there is money enough for corporate bonuses. Love the tag line "at cvs your health and well being are important to us" Most hypocritical thing i have ever heard and makes me laugh every time i hear it. The only thing important to cvs is lining its corporate pockets with money.

I bought a Poland Spring bottled water and was charged 10 cents for a bottle refund. First, if I were in a State that offers refunds, those refunds are only 5 cents and not 10 cents. Second, Connecticut is not one of the States that offer refunds for that particular bottle. How is it legal to take 10 cents for a bottle refund when the customer cannot be refunded that amount for the return of the bottle.SCAM!!

A star are 1 too many as corporate doesnt stand by their customers nor employees. They dont care about money lost as long as the *** lines his pocket. Called about fraud in the store and lack of products and was told we do not stand by the customer being right we stand by our gift card policy. Supervisor didnt care products are stolen nor the lack of covering employees. And now I find out that they arent backed by the BBB which explains the whole picture. They dont seem to care that they are losing my money as now I will cancel their emails and never step foot in their door as they fall below ******* and soon be bought by Amazon. Had one employee tell me I was incorrect when my coupons didnt come up and then slides to another screen grabs them all, hits pay before I could even look at them. Pharmacy is just as bad and now I question where they get their medications from.

They do not deserve any stars. Withholding medication due to non payment when they are the ones who didnt use the correct billing information. Instead of looking for their mistake they refuse your medication. Very unprofessional and poorly trained personnel. This not the first time. Happens every time I change medication.

This has to be the most convoluted operations I've ever dealt with. They have CVS.com, extracare, and Caremark - all in which are different departments and none of them understand their system or how each one interacts with the other. All issue responses are nothing but "tickets" sent to who-knows-where because I'm told they don't have an IT ***** Here's an example: I have a CVS.com account, but decided to get an extracare number. Somehow, this created a whole new account. It's possible this was my fault, so I called CVS.com to see if my accounts could be merged because it wasn't allowing me to link my extracare to my original account. I was told they merged successfully and to test, I saw I can only access the original account and my extracare account was now attached. Great....except when I went to the store to use my number, it didn't work. I opened the app and scanned the barcode instead with success. I went home to call CVS to figure out the issue and apparently they're saying my extracare account was deleted, even though I can still access it online and on the app. They said they don't know why this is happening. I was denied a supervisor or IT to see if I can get more answers. Oh well, sounds like I don't have a choice but to recreate a new extracare card and lose my history/points. Now I noticed I have Caremark through my insurance. I'm told I should see my prescriptions, but can't see a single thing. They don't know why but MAYBE because I don't have any mail orders - they're not sure, but just in case they're going to create a report - BUT I'm told there may not have a solution though. I'm told there's no IT. I'm also told ******** doesn't give me points or attach to my extracare. What is the point of having all these different departments if they don't work together. There's no cross training, no understanding about the difference, and real troubleshooting for customers?? I don't want any of it if it's this complicated.
