1 starI received a text message informing me that my prescription was ready for pickup. Upon arriving at the store at ******************************************************************, on 5/3/24 there are signs posted that pharmacy is closed until 5/6/24. Are you kidding me?? And when I call another CVS to ask if they could fill it, I'm told they can not because of the type of medication it is. How can a large drug store chain operate like this???Review fromJohnny G

1 starCVS marketing emailed a survey to me to provide customer service evaluation to help ********************** in maintaining and inproving customer service excellence. Over the course of 5 to 6 months I've issued low evaluations. I did list some of the issues that occurred during those particular evaluations. After the last survey I submitted I was approached while picking up a prescription by a Pharmacy Staff member. She indicated her supervisor asked her to inquire on why I gave such a low evaluation. I told her I based my experiences from total visits not just one visit. Pharmacy Staff kept on arguing with me and wouldn't give me my medication. Finally finished the transaction. I asked if she would order my perception they didn't have, I didn't get a definitive answer. I waited a couple of days, didn't hear from the pharmacy. So I called and asked about my prescription, it was the supervisor who answered. She informed me if I didn't appreciate and valued their service I could go somewhere else. I asked the supervisor again your not going to order my prescription, she reiterate if you don't appreciate our work you can go somewhere else. Prior to the supervisor refusing to fill my new meds I had communicated with the district office and the store manager. Both who indicated they would look into this matter. Also I have extended my concerns to assistance managers. One manager indicated they had complaints on this same issue from other CVS customers. I've been waiting 4 to 5 weeks on a call back from any manager to voice my opinion. Today was my 3rd call to customer service. **************** Person I believe tried to get a manager and supervisor on the call. Finally she indicated to me management usually side with Pharmacy Supervisor. I feel the Pharmacy should not be allowed to use my survey input on their business practices to refuse to service me at their location.Review fromJohn L

1 starThe store at ****************** is a disaster. CVS is supposed to participate in a program with *****. There are tons of problems with the program. I checked the ***** paper catalogue for covered items. When I brought them to the cash register, the items were not covered. I asked the manager who said that she did not know anything about it. CVS has flags on the shelves to identify items covered by this Over The Counter Program. I brought those items to the register, but those items were not covered. The manager said that those items are covered by *************** but not by *****. However, the shelving flags don't distinguish. I checked the ***** online catalogue for covered items. I brought them to the register, but the register would not accept them. I went to the register and a disabled woman was in line in front of me. The ****** asked me to place my items on the counter; however, I pointed out that the disabled woman was before me in line. The ****** corrected me and said that the disabled woman was doing self-check out. While I was trying to check out, the disabled woman got in line behind me. No one had offered to help her at the self-check out. As I was leaving the store, the disabled woman was having problems with checking out with the cashier. The disabled woman had to wait and wait. On my CVS receipt, it encouraged me to participate in a CVS survey. I tried, but the website didn't work. Instead, It asked for my credit card number. We should all switch to ********'s.Review fromJim K

1 starScheduling was not difficult, however the end result of visit went sour after receiving a full bill for the visit. I was told at check in that minute clinic could treat me for what I came in for. Open boil/ulcer on ankle, possibly infected. No problem according to the intake personnel. Fill out forms and moves forward. Waited to be called about ***** minutes. Called to back to get blood pressure and temperature taken. Showed intake person my ankle sore and was told I would see doctor next. Immediately upon showing Dr and assistant my ankle, they immediately said ************* couldn't service me and said I should go to immediate care or urgent care clinics that would be more equipped. Less than 5 mins later I leave and head to urgent care. No care was given at minute clinic. Just typing info in system and verbally saying to go elsewhere. No charge to me that day or a mention of partial of full charge in future for the visit, however I was charge later for full visit as if they did and was able to handle my issue. Its like taking your car to a repair shop and they listen to a sound your car is making and immediately say that it's beyond their scope of work go to dealer. This is without pulling your car onto the rack. Just quick observation by the tech. Later you get a $169 bill for that observation. Better off goggling than minute clinic. They have the right name. Charge by the Minute.......Review fromMark G

1 starI take a critical drug (Humira) to manage my Crohn's disease. I had my account transferred to CVS and handled my case over the phone to initiate my service with them. They were supposed to deliver the medication to my local cvs pharmacy for me to pick up. When I called to make sure it had arrived, they said it hadn't. When I called the specialty pharmacy, they said that they didn't support my insurance, despite my completing the entire order and double checking everything over the phone. This left me without the medication I needed on the day I needed to take it, and no possible way to get it in time. They waited two weeks to tell me they weren't going to process my prescription, and in the end I had to go and call them in order to find that out. They left me out to dry.Review fromEi J

1 starI went into CVS ************* at ***********************************************************************************, April 27, 2024, for an appointment but it was all full for the day. I made an appointment for the next available time, which was today, but when I went in with my code the machine did not recognize it. No one came out of the room to call any names or my confirmation number. I waited for 45 min, and also called the main ************* main phone number for over 20 min and was told they did not have a way to contact the store and to show my screen shot of my appointment to the practitioner. I said my code did not work in the machine, which she said is not uncommon. I finally knocked on the door because no medical practitioner ever came out of the room (only sent the patients out) and one ever came out. After knocking on the door, a female said her name was ***** (no name tag) and said she was with a patient. I said my daughter had been waiting for 45 min and explained but she was not helpful. I waited until she finished with the current patient and asked her to take us next as we had an appointment that she did not call, and that the machine did not work for us, and I showed her my screen shot on my phone of the time I tried that it said it did not recognize. She said her email showed check in was 20 min after and it was too late. I said that was because we kept trying, that we have been here and nobody came out. said I would file a complaint as I had an appointment but machine didnt work and nobody ever came out, and she said for me to file one. I asked her name, since no signage, etc, and she said *****. Not sure if that was the persons name as no name tag, photo of who was working and no contact information. In short, no service received.Review fromLois H

1 starWhen I went to schedule a Shingles vaccine online, it said it was not available in any of their pharmacies. They sent me to the ************** where I had to pay almost $300 out-of-pocket. Finally got reimbursed, a hassle. When I called CVS pharmacy directly to schedule the second dose, I told them how the website says it is not available. They are aware of the problem. Called customer service, they are aware, many complaints, said IT can' fix it. I say FIX IT!Review fromMichael R

1 starI was treated at a local *********** and they sent a prescription to CVS at ***********************************************************. Went to pick it up 2 days later and the attendant took a look at me and said we have no prescription for you, closed the window and didn't respond any questions. I called the doctor's ****** and they confirmed the medicine request was sent to that specific pharmacy and I still got nothing.Review fromNiki M

1 starOn February 20th I stopped by the CVS store located at ******************************************************** to pick up some Flonase using my ******** *** program as it was an eligible item per the guide that was sent me. Upon check out I was told by ****** that it was not, even though she was able to determine that my insurance was Aetna ******** and was current. She was unable to adequately explain the reasons why, and instead got more confusing and agitated, and I opted to buy the Flonase.I told my insurance rep about the experience. He said that that wasn't right, that he'd never had a client refused before and for me to go back and speak to the manager. I did go back to this same store when I next needed Flonase on April 9th and this time was able to use the *** benefit to purchase the Flonase. I asked to speak to the mgr. ***** who I was told was busy but that ***** had been told he had a customer wanting to speak to him. When ***** finally came out of his office, he instead helped another customer. When I finally spoke to him, ***** could not have been more unhelpful and disengaged, staring blanky at me, offering no explanations or a way to make the situation better. I called on April 10th wanting more information and spoke to ****** who began again talking over me and condescending. When I asked her name she at first refused but when I asked if there was a problem with her giving me her name, she replied that it was ******, which was the same name on my February receipt. When I finally interrupted to speak she groaned and hung up on **** called another CVS asking how I could file a complaint. When they heard who the store was they responded that they get 'several' such calls from customers wishing to complain about the ****** store. That story apologized and I called CVS corporate number requesting that ****** the District Leader call me. He has never called and I've had no missed calls. It's not hard to see why the ****** store gets so many complaints
