1 starThe service when purchasing our furniture was great. Since then, a complete disaster. We were told our delivery was going to happen on a spefic date with the timeframe provided two days before. 24 hours out we had nothing so we called only to be told their computers were down and they had no idea when our furniture would be delivered. Two week later, no communication so we called they said out couch would be delivered on the 25th. Deliver driver then went to wrong house and delivered the couch which I got receipt for in my email. Called and did a dispute and they said they would accomidate the inconvenicence and get me a couch the next day. I cslled the next day and theybhad my couch just did not have it scheduled for delivery as promised. Nkw i was going out of town after waiting since Aug for my couch and tjey could not schedule it to be delivered within 2 days before leaving town. So went i to store as they experience was horrible and cancelled my.order for my full refund. I will go and get my couch from somewhere else that stays true to there word. If you have any other option, run from Ashley and I'll take my business elsewhere.Review fromRobert R

1 starIf I could leave negative stars I would! The service at Ashley HomeStore, the phone support, and overall quality of assembled items is atrocious! There is a reason that they charge your credit card prior to items being delivered because it takes forever and there are so many quality issues. I ordered a desk, bookcase, and two filing cabinets on July 27. The salesperson said that all items were in stock and would be delivered and assembled. It took over 3 weeks for my items to arrive (all at different times) and only the desk was partially assembled. The service center is absolutely useless. You get a different person each time you call. I finally spoke to a service "manager" and still my issue is not resolved. The purchase and delivery process is absurd. I will never purchase from Ashley Furniture in the future. The bookcase was unusable and wobbly. They sent a "master craftsman" to repair the bookcase and he determined it was beyond repair because all of the screws were stripped. Ashley attempted to deliver another bookcase in mid-September but that one arrive with a s**** sticking out the front of the bookcase so I declined delivery. On September 29, Ashley delivered a 3rd bookcase and this one arrived with a chip, scratch and is unusable because it is wobbly. Today, the service department's system is down so they can not place a repair call. Two filing cabinets arrived in boxes. I've had two appointments for someone to come and assemble them and twice nobody from ****** showed up. Finally, on September 29, they delivered two assembled filing cabinets (one with a scratch and a staple in the front) in exchanged for the ones that have been sitting in my house in the box for 2 months. We ordered the 6 Drawer Dresser on 6/10/23. The product arrived around 6/14/23. The top of the dresser was damaged and was unusable. We called, got bounced around, and finally we able to get a replacement piece. The service rep we talked to said we could expect the piece in 10-14 business days. On July 28th we had not received the replacement piece. We called again and was informed that is was not scheduled to go out yet. So, we were lied to by the original service rep. Unacceptable business practice. The second rep did not have any helpful information about the replacement piece but shared that she would keep me updated when it was shipped and she had a tracking number. We never received a call/email with any of the promised information. So, we were lied to for a second time. Again, unacceptable business practice and customer service. The replacement piece finally arrived around 8/14/23. That is 2 months from the original purchase date and a month after the promised replacement arrival! I took 2 hours and put together the dresser. I ensured I had the tools the instructions said to have, I looked over the pieces to ensure they were usable, I enlisted help to make sure everything was supported while being moved, and referred to the instructions for every step. Unfortuately, this dresser is a piece of crap. There are hand prints all over that interrupt the fake grain look and the drawers don't line up. This is obviously a defect from the factory and I did not pay 100's of dollars and wait 9 weeks to get a defected product. This is absolutely unacceptable. We called the rep again to report the defect. They bounced us around and then directed us the the WeCare email. The rep assured us we would be able to work this out via the email. That was ~3 weeks ago and I have followed up 2x. RADIO SILENCE from Ashley. This company is miserable and I will NEVER, I'll say it again, I will NEVER give this company a dime again. Shame on Ashley!!We needed new living room furniture. We called Ashley Furniture. We told them that we have a daughter with Special Needs in a wheelchair and on a ventilator. We took her to the store to put her on the couches to find one that was appropriate before they opened for business. When they delivered the couch it had a rip on the side of the couch. We refused the couch. They delivered another couch about 2 weeks later. 14 months after our purchase. I called Ashley and told them that the leather has changed colors, the headrest would not completely go back in place. One side had dropped, therefore the couch was lopsided. Ashley said that there warranty was over at 12 months to contact the extended warranty company. I sent in a statement and pictures to the ***************** After about 4 months having no response. I contacted them again. They said that in my statement the date that I said I first noticed the couch needed repairs it was over 30 days from the date of my claim. Therefore, they said they were not responsible.I contacted Ashley Furniture. Finally, they sent someone to our home only because they thought the frame on the couch was broken. The serviceman said it needs alot of repairs, therefore he did paperwork for parts to be ordered. We never heard anything else from Ashley.We contacted them again because the couch is so lopsided, and because of the discoloration is worsening. They are still saying it is not their responsibility, that we have the extended 5 year warranty. This is the 5 year warranty that Ashley sold us when we bought the furniture. If their **************** will not honor this, then Ashley should. Yesterday, Ashley said they would give us back part of the money from the purchase of the warranty and we just keep the couch. We said No. We want it fixed, replaced or just give us our money!Ashley HomeStore

I got 2 bedgear pillows that went flat and hurt mine and my husbands back. We have called several times with no call backs and finally called BedGear to only get told that we was not properly fitted for the $200 a piece pillows we bought. ******* said we was supposed to be asked questions etc to get fitted for their brand pillows. Ashleys furniture said they only had 1 option of BedGear pillows in stock and thats what they gave us. They refused to exchange our pillows for the correct pillows and refused to refund us our money! So after spending $12,000 with Ashley Furniture we have gotten nothing but ripped off and I will be posting this on every platform Ashleys has. Our furniture has also came Damaged and it is such a fight to get any replacement. I will be warning everyone about this Store if this is not made right on all platforms Ashleys has. This is so wrong that we spent so much money for damaged furniture and $400 on pillows we cant sleep on and that cause us pain all because it was the only option they had in stock. It wasnt until we contacted BedGear that we found out why we hurt, they told us each one of their distributors are trained how to fit clients for the right pillow. Im not even going to start on the damaged furniture we received to only get replaced with more damaged furniture. This is a lot of money spent and it seems like we will be having to take legal actions.Ashley HomeStore

1 starDoes not deserve a star at all!! Purchased a new bed. Scheduled delivery between 1-4pm, delivered at 7pm. After delivery which came off truck not in box as advertised, found out the bed was a used bed. Had grease spot on fabric of headboard, missing feet and s**** holds that had already been used. Was told by delivery men that yes the bed was used and they delivered furniture all the time for Ashley that was sold as new. Also told that Ashley's does not care if bed is sent back they will just put it off on someone else that thinks they are purchasing a new bed, like they did me no matter how many times it is sold. I called Ashley's corporate office multiple times and was told they would only emburse me ****** for damaged used bed, and that I signed for bed, at which time I replied NO I signed the bed was delivered. I let Ashley's know that I had a camera in bedroom due to I was not living at house t this time, that had everything on video and audio of incident that did not even phase them they didn't care. So in summary if you choose to purchase anything from Ashley's pick it up yourself no delivery and that way you know it's new and not damaged. I always thought this was a high end company with quality furniture but now i know they will do anything to sell a product and customer service *****. The customer is not always right no matter how much evidence you have. Sorry to say but after who knows how many times this bed has been pushed on someone, I now am the owner of a damaged used bed at new bed price....so no one else will have to deal with this bed they finally found the sucker that has it. At least I still believe in what goes around comes around and based on the bad reviews I read since it definitely is going to come back around to Ashley's furniture.Review fromKeith S

1 starPurchased furniture last fri to be delivered wed. After not hearing from them wife called tue afternoon. She was told not coming Wed but Thursday morn which was not good for us. Operator was rude and threatened 10% restocking fee if order canceled. She was then told it would come sat or there would be 79$ restocking fee. Their policy states that we would be notified if not delivered on original delivery date, which were not. So now we cancel sat plans or pay hundreds in canceling fees.Review fromAntwanneshea C

1 starI leased furniture from Ashley furniture in 6/2021 through *************. I changed my mind about making monthy payments on the furniture and wanted to pay in full and asked them for the full balance. They gave me a balance of over **** something and I paid them. A few months later I get a bill from them of $500 and something odd dollars. They told me it was the taxes on the furniture. Now in 2023 it's being reported on my credit that I owe **** on furniture I paid for! Bad business! Now the furniture places has closed down and Acceptance is reporting false information!Review fromAnne M

1 starHorrible customer service. Have been buying ******************************************* for years. Moved to a new state and needed to buy new furniture. Purchased a sofa, ottoman and dining set. The table was delivered without any legs. Had to wait again for a new table. Went back to buy a king size bed and mattress. Spent $15,000 on an adjustable temperapedic bed and mattress. Was told there was a 30 day sleep trial. Not happy with the purchase returned to store to see what options we had. Told there was nothing they could do because it hadn't been 30 days yet and then told there was nothing they could do because the purchase was on clearance. Was not told that in the store at time of purchase. Also spoke with someone in corporate customer service and was told the same thing. However, a week before, I called corporate customer service and was told that I could exchange the mattress and the difference would be credited to my account. Each time we went to the store our salesperson was awesome, however the store manager kept hovering and was a bit nosy and pushy for ** to make a purchase. Will not be shopping there anymore. $15,000 is a lot of money not to be able to make an exchange whether the item is on clearance or not. If I could leave a 0 star rating I would.
