We have contacted Spinnaker Resorts about canceling our timeshare and heard back from ***************************. After discussing our concerns with him, he told us that we knew of the policies when we signed the agreement and that there was nothing Spinnaker would do to cancel it. We were told the maintenance fees would not increase, but that has turned out to be untrue. Additionally, we are always pressured to attend upgrade meetings. We were led to believe we were joining a family and would have the opportunity to rent and sell our ownership for a profit. Sadly, there is no profit to be made. This ownership is a black hole of debt. Spinnaker Resorts has been completely unhelpful in resolving our concerns. We feel misled and trapped in an ever-increasing financial burden. We strongly advise others to avoid getting involved with Spinnaker Resorts.

DO NOT BUY THIS TIMESHARE! If the 105 reviews with an AVERAGE of 1.24 Stars doesnt say enough, read them. They are all consistent with our two experiences in *********** and ***************. Hidden fees, false advertising, terrible quality of the ACTUAL places they put you in. Do not fall for the pretty pictures. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Did we have AC, a bed and a shower sure. But they do not accommodate families/groups needing more than 2-3 rooms. Probably enjoy a rundown retirement home more than staying at one of their locations.

I am the son of parents who invested in this. Trying to book the week long vacation that you get with the "timeshare" never seemed to workout. Everything was already booked months out. There was also bad timing between COVID and family deaths that complicated things, but even considering that my parents have said it really just felt like a shady scam from the get go and they feel much regret thinking about it all. They're actually still members but we're sent a letter in the mail notifying them that without payment they would terminate their account. This is after paying it off for over 13k.

They will not leave me alone! *** asked to be taken off their list of calls. I was not interested that to leave me alone. Im still getting calls. They are rude and inconsiderate on the phone and will it take NO for an answer. I have told them in the past that I have cancer and would like to be left alone and they still harass me!

We were promised (have proof) after 90 minutes preview..3 vacation packages of 4 days 3 nights. At the desk the woman said she emailed us. After looking in all folders for 24 hours, we tried calling. Got thru once and was told vacations were not in our profile, transferred us to the ******* center where it rang for 2 minutes. We tried calling Spinnakers back and no one would answer and we were on hold for 10 minutes being told they were going to answer and we were next in line. Definitely a scam!!!!!!

I made a reservation but never heard from Spinnaker after being charged. We arrived in Branson with no reservation. Went to their office in Branson and was told they couldn’t make my reservation for me. Don’t trust them or book with them.

To whom it may concern We haven't had success making a reservation on dates we've requested. The reason being is that there wasn't anything available or the daily fees for staying would have been more than the monthly mortgage payment. We were told that someone would call us if anything became available on one of the dates we chose. That didn't happen. When I asked about a ******* location, I was told that I would have to speak with someone else about that location. I was told that I would need to mail a notice of cancellation to end my relationship with Spinnaker. However, after speaking with someone in the loan department about, I was told that **************** always tells people to do this even though that doesn't help. The loan department also informed me that Spinnaker doesn't tell you that you can only sell your timeshare if you purchase an upgrade. Paying for this timeshare has become a financial burden, because we are paying for it every month, but we have never been able to use any of the facilities. This is not a good investment. I would not want this financial burden to be passed down to my loved ones. We have lost any desire to use the timeshare. Because of this, I have been trying to end this timeshare for a while now, and only get a lot of finger-pointing. After getting no where with Spinnaker, I am now writing this letter to the BBB in hopes they can help hold these people accountable for misquoting prices and the ballooning costs for something we can not use!

Do not buy their deal if you go to their timeshare presentation. Many hidden fees and no flexibility. It is not a deal. And the resorts are very tired looking. There is nothing for you at Spinnaker. Move along and, if you want a timeshare, seek something with a better reputation and more options for timeshare usage. Or better yet, do not invest in a timeshare at all. You will eventually be too old to use them and your children dont want them.
