5 thumbs down. Horrible experience. They are just taking money and not delivering their promised. Its not the resort but hotel rooms They took my money and offered us two standard bedroom but was reserve for two bed room with full kitchen and living room for party of 6. I need my full money back. They ruined our Thanksgiving day. We ended up driving back home then staying what they had offered. Agent was rude and disrespectful.

If there was a way to give a zero star I would! They set us up completely!!! I have called, emailed and messaged multiple times and only one response and that was to tell me the info I needed (my ID#) was in my paperwork and to read it again to find it. The main reason we bought in was because of the dream weekends package. We cant even find where to book these motels at! Our salesman already left within 30 days so no one else to talk to. COMPLETE SCAM!!

I want to share my frustrating experience at ************ in ****** during our honeymoon. They started off by painting a picture of an amazing investment opportunity; showing us texts of other owners making a killing by renting out their ownership. At first, we were excited about all of the possibilities. This is one of the many lies we were told. Our presentation was supposed to be 90 min. Instead, it dragged on for over 4.5 hrs and they made sure we had plenty of alcohol to drink during our presentation. Now we can't get ahold of ******(our sales rep) after signing. We tried contacting the resort to cancel, with no response. We are newlyweds still trying to get our finances in order and, now we're stuck with this hefty, unnecessary vacation expense. I can't believe we were taken advantage of like this.

At the invitation of King's ********************** (located in ******** and a subsidiary of Spinnaker Resorts) for a three-night stay at their property in ************, we attended a mandatory 90-120-minute presentation. During this presentation, employees utilized manipulative tactics, including assigning ****** friendly sales associates, and created a false sense of trust. They promised us a timeshare that could be used at any Spinnaker location worldwide, emphasizing a buyback program that was presented as a profitable investment opportunity. These promises were blatantly false.Upon expressing our concerns and objections, we were pressured further by an aggressive salesperson. Feeling overwhelmed, we reluctantly agreed to purchase a timeshare week. The signing of the contract (which consisted of approximately 30 pages) was hurried because the "closer" had another contract signing in the wings. We were not informed of our right to rescind the contract, and key details, including the truth in lending clause, were not explained to us. Post-purchase, we discovered that our timeshare had no rental value and was practically worthless, with listings confined to King's ********************** in ************ with listings as low as $0 on ***** The promised travel flexibility was non-existent; we were confined to King's ********************** and unable to book stays elsewhere due to perpetual unavailability. Spinnaker's customer support was unhelpful and dismissive, compounding our frustration. We trust that BBB will make note of our complaint about their nefarious business practices.********************** and ****************

Spinnaker is a dishonest company that uses deceptive marketing. They tell you one thing and do another. Every year we went to their 90 minute spill (timeshare owner) we left owing more money. The very first person over 20 years ago (Holly) told us if we bought at Las Lagos in Hot Springs Village we could use all the amenities. The first time we took our kids to watch a fireworks show we were turned away. We later learned we had been duped. We were offered a package of a 3 day stay In Branson, MO which began our nightmare of Spinnaker Resorts. We have spoke with so many different people that worked there. Each one promised we would be happy with our timeshare and that the maintenance fees would never go up. They went from $350 to $900. We were shown Palace View Heights and when we got there with our family it was just Palace View, and our family wasn’t even next to each other. Some were in a completely different building. We were showed the top of the line to make the sale. One visit we were told by Justin that we could put the deed in my husband’s name so when he died it would be paid for and wouldn’t go to our children to become their burden. We did that. Now our total is over $20,000. The next visit they tried to sell the deed back to us. The next year a guy actually tried to help us but his hands were tied. He drove a blue sports car but I can’t remember his name. We spoke with one man named Allen. I told him some of this stuff and he said the salesmen can tell you anything to make a sale. We usually make reservations mo this early. We always ask for the bottom floor and close to the pool. We’ve never gotten that. They always have an excuse. What a terrible way to do business. Especially because it is a beautiful place.

Spinnakers is a heartless company. I wish I never purchased my time share but I was under stress when the purchase happened. This year the maintenance fees were due and because of financial situation I was not able to pay they have contracted Meridian to collect this debt. I called Meridian trying to pay the $950 along with some maintenance fees. Ive never been late on a payment with Spinnakers for the 2 years Ive been with them. However none of that matters. ******** said I would have to pay them $349 however I dont have that type of extra money. I asked if that could be waived and they refuse to do a 1 time courtesy. What time is it? On top of that **** told me we live in America and and she better doesnt care its a business. ****** confirmed that being on the phone. Instead of trying to help the situation theyre only making it worse. Who can I speak to to pay for my maintenance fee who can understand my situation and waive the 349 just one time because Im looking at these reviews and theyre all horrible. I also told them Well mainly ****** This is how people go in to further debt and lawyers are called and she told me call those lawyers I mean these people are just disgusting. Can you help me out with this situation?

I purchased a weekend vacation that was marketed at a golf expo as a golf focused trip. I could choose to stay at one of 3-4 hotels and have discounted tee times. When I go to book this trip, this is not the case. No longer associated with golf courses. Theres no deals. Theres nothing to offer on ******************. They report being loosely associated with a course on the mainland 30 minutes away. I just got a call that the dates I reserved weeks ago are not what they have in their system and now they arent sure if they have a place for us to stay. I called the golf expo to report the false advertising. I purchased insurance on this trip because I had a feeling there would be issues. I would never recommend this time share company.

Spinnaker sales and third-party representatives practice deceptive marketing schemes. I have been bombarded with unsolicited phone calls and more than 116 emails in the past year. Several of the callers became angry and aggressive when I declined. Sometimes, I would receive multiple calls in one day! I was recently contacted and told my previous membership expired but that they would let me renew for a fee. I agreed but later found out that they didn't restore what I had purchased, I was sold a completely different package. I discussed my concerns with the customer service team, and they agreed to provide me with a full refund and indicated they could only email the sales team expressing my dissatisfaction. The last thing the Timeshare industry needs right now is another *****.
