  I was offered the 4 day 3 night discounted vacation and paid for it but then had to wait for time I could get off from work to take it so to keep from losing it they offered me an extension at price of 48 I was told I could have an additional year to use the discounted vacation so I scheduled only to find out after I had booked I was not approved for time off on those dates so I had to postpone my trip onlyto be charged another 64 to reschedule all within the first 12 month time limit. the discounted vacation wad supposes to include 2 50 gift cards a 50 food voucher and a 50 entertainment voucher. what I received was a 100 Amex gift card that hardly anyone accepts a 50 food voucher that when we tried to use did not cover our whole meal but I did not get the 50 entertainment voucher. but upon booking I requested a handicapped room because I am a stroke survivor. when we got to the room the toilet was so close to the floor even my husband had trouble getting up from it and it also looked as though they installed 2 grab bars in places that did not even help. ******* is great but the resort *****. did not receive all the gifts I was promised to attend their times share presentation of which I knew going in we weren't going to purchase or be bullied into purchasing anything we have friends that have timeshares. so we got scammed into the discounted vacation and free gifts that we didn't get and the hotel accommodations sucked the bonus vacations we were given will never be used everything is an 8 hour drive or more from ***** which is not really good for a stroke survivor to sit that long in a car so I do not see us using the bonus vacation ever or even referring friends and family to this place. they don't want you attending any other timeshare presentations while staying we attended 2 that are obviously owned by the same company because on their bonus trips its the same exact destinations 2nd one was a trap it's all a scam completely. hope this helps anyone else know.

  Leaving this review in hopes that it will help someone avoid the trap of a Spinnaker timeshare. We have been scammed out of thousands of dollars by being told we were getting one thing and receiving another. Their salesmen misrepresented what a timeshare actually is, causing us to purchase one only to later realize we had been fooled and there was no way out of it. Our timeshare is now paid off, and they are still ignoring our request to cancel our timeshare.

  Spinnaker Resorts are SCAM ARTISTS. They have screwed us every which way and have gleefully pocketed a bunch of our money WITHOUT ANY INTENTION OF HONORING THEIR AGREEMENT. They are beyond crooks. Do business with them at your own peril.P. S.. That should actually be a ZERO STARS RATING it wont let me do zero.Spinnaker doesnt qualify for even one star.

  Almost 8 years ago we took trip and were offered another "free" trip, which we declined. The trip was nice, we had a nice time, but have declined all other offers. We are still called daily, often more than once, trying to get us to use this special offer. I have told countless callers we are not interested and to please stop calling **, yet the calls continue. They use so many different phone numbers, I now will no longer answer the phone unless it's a number I know. They are relentless!!!!! I have been angry, kind, almost cursing, used reasoning and pleading....still the calls continue.

  Release us from the ownership mentioned above! It is not at all what was promised to us. Theres always pressure to upgrade or purchase. You told us we could use it anywhere, and thats not true. You told us we could use it anytime, but you gave us an every-other-year ownership. There are so many issues with how you run your business, and weve been one of the unlucky ones. I hate that were in this predicament, but I am allowing you to do the right thing by **. Cancel our contract and refund ** our monies! ******************************* and ***********************

  Awful and dishonest practices. Poor customer service. I purchased a getaway to ****************** one year ago together with the insurance. When I cancelled the booking due to Moms illness, I was told I had no insurance so had to look through all my credit card statements and show proof of purchase. No apology of course. When I called to rebook, I was told I was seeking a package deal I never paid for. I screen shot and sent text messages from ****, CSR, confirming my 5/4 at Cottages in ***********. She still declared that I wanted something I did not pay for and vehemently stated that I paid for a 4/3 hotel. I demanded to speak with a supervisor. ***** was agreeing with **** without reading my texts or notes. When I insisted that she read the notes on file and text messages between me and ****, she out me on hold and said she would read them. She came back and said, I will send you to the agent to reserve Cottages for 5/4 as confirmed in the notes. I was placed in a que with no apologies and when **** came to the phone she said there was nothing available for the dates I wanted though I was previously told that dates were available. I then received a text saying that a refund of $99 was being processed. I called and texted asking to speak with **** and ***** as I did not request a refund. Also, the refund amount quoted was incorrect. This was 3 weeks ago and to date I have not received a return phone call nor a refund of any kind. I was told I was lying on 2 occasions and when my claims of having insurance and paying for Cottages - 2 bedroom condo for 5/4, I never received an apology; instead they said they would issue a refund of $99. I paid $160 & would like the 5/4 in June or July at Cottages, ***********, **. I plan to write a negative review on every site where Spinnaker Resorts advertises until someone is respectful enough to call me to resolve this matter. I plan to also reach out to Corporate Offices. I have emailed the Director of ******** Services.

  Spinnaker Resorts and their timeshare program turned out to be an absolute nightmare. From the initial cold call to the sales presentation, I was subjected to a web of deception and false promises.Led by *****, the sales presentation painted a rosy picture of the benefits of owning a Spinnaker Resorts Timeshare. I was assured that my existing timeshare could be easily sold to cover a significant portion of the purchase, but it was all a pack of lies. Despite paying a hefty fee to list my timeshare for sale, not a single buyer showed interest.On top of that, the limited availability of units shattered the illusion of easily covering maintenance fees through leasing. What was promised as a lucrative opportunity turned out to be nothing more than a cruel joke.Spinnaker timeshare is nothing short of a deceitful trap. The glossy brochures and persuasive sales tactics are designed to lure unsuspecting victims into a web of disappointment and regret. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to steer clear. Don't fall for their false promises and deceptive sales practices. Save yourself from the nightmare of Spinnaker timeshare. Look elsewhere for genuine and trustworthy vacation options. You deserve better than the empty words and broken dreams that Spinnaker offers.

  Misinformation to obtain business from customers. I was told one thing before the recording started and ended buying a package and wanted to cancel it and I couldnt be refunded. So they basically stole my money on false pretenses. This is how they scam the elderly not just elderly but hardworking people. These resorts are for people who are not rich, because the rich wouldnt buy in period. Something need to be done with these resorts. Buyers beware!!!!!!!

  Dont buy timeshare at Spinnaker Resort. They will try to scam you out of your property once paid for. Wish I could give negative stars. ************ is the worst as well. Worst decision we made. I will always book my week wit interval.
