I have been a Tractor Supply store card holder for several years. Tonight I went in to pay my monthly bill and my store card had a $0 balance. It was very confusing because I knew I've been shopping there. I clicked on a drop down arrow and saw that I had a Tractor Supply **** that I did NOT apply for and that has a very high interest rate. My balance on that **** was what I expected my store card to be - around $800. When I went to pay it I was blocked with a big red box that said I had no minimum payment due. I am LIVID. I try to never carry a balance and I do NOT want a **** from Tractor Supply. I just don't understand how they could switch me to a **** credit card that I do not want and never applied for.Business Response

We bought a mini Jeep on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, it ran for ***** minutes and wouldn't start again, my husband went to return it and was asked if he wanted a check or a store gift card, we paid cash and expected a cash refund. It's now Friday and still no refund has been given after being told by the store manager everyday this week to come back the next day after their cash drop. Finally, my husband was able to contact corporate and was told the store doesn't do enough business for that kind of refund and a check request would have to be sent in by the store for corporate to approve, then it would be **** business days to receive it. When you pay over $2,000 cash for an item that is nothing but junk, you at least expect a refund in a timely manner and not to be lied to. We buy thousands of dollars in items for our farm from Tractor Supply, but that ended this week after our horrible experience.Customer Answer

In August 2023, Tractor Supply offered as an incentive to open a CitiBank Branded card of $50.... in addition it was implied all credit card purchases would also receive a 5% incentive to use the credit card. I have called customer service at 800# and they provided no explanation or acknowledgement.We have received our first statement which reflects none of the above incentives... we have excellent credit an unless Tractor supply offers these incentives have no use for their credit card.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:This was a simple transaction....in consideration of using a Tractor Supply branded Citibank credit card... they advertised a $50 reward for making the purchase of $200....and provided our confidential credit and we purchased $600... and 5 percent back in rewards... a reasonable person would expect ... and 5 percent back in tangible dollar rewards... a $50 credit to the account.... I went to read the FTC's definition of "bait and Switch" and believe this meets their definition... saying what was offered is now not available .. along with fraud there's collusion amongst these two companies Citibank and Tractor Supply.... so no we don't agree we are satisfied.

A purchase was made today for $340...when a request was made to use any "rewards" the $50 for opening a charge account was available as 5 - $10 rewards...to bring this complaint to a close.... clarity isn't obvious, so believe the complaint was legitimate.....the rewards club isn't straightforward with a $10 reward but instead shows a **** point reduction with no explanations....which isn't helpful for a new customer ....my expectation was to include these rewards as part of overall expenditure....but program details says you may have to wait 30 days...other retailers are more straightforward....thank youInitial Complaint

Purchased a zero turn mower online. It was lost in shipping after several confirmations that it was in route. After getting order canceled I purchased a mower in stores. I have been waiting since 7/20/23 to get my refund for the online purchase. Several failed communication promises back from customer service. My check was mailed to wrong address. Tractor Supply will match any competitor's online or in-store price on any identical item, TO HAVE THE LOWEST PRICES GUARANTEED! the manager of the ************ store does not abide by the store's price match policy , she said they did price match Rural King, but Rural King will price match Agri Supply, this woman said the store had to be in the same geography location, they did not price match out of state, they do not price match is the difference is to high, she seemed to think the price match had a mileage setting, If TSC is not going to price match, they need to change their policy, put a state and mileage limit to there guarantee,They are baiting you in with the lowest prices GUARANTEE then switching to we do not price match. I am rejecting this response because: if the TSC in ************ store is not going to abide by the stores price match policy, (Let me remind you, this is not my policy, i did not post all over the internet my price match policy, this is your policy) , then they need to change their instore price match policy, nothing in the TSC price match policy says they will only price match in thing outside the ***********. nor does it say, that if the price match is too high, we don't price match, nor does it say that, if the other store is too many miles away they do not match, All i am asking for is some consistency in their store policy, and do what the policy says, they can change it to say all TSC stores price match any other store, EXCEPT for the store in ************ **, ************ does not price match other stores, TO HAVE THE LOWEST PRICES GUARANTEED!

On 6/14/2023 I purchased a golf cart tire on the rim for $84.79 with my tractor supply credit card at -store #***************************************************************** I returned this tire on 6/17/2023 at around 4 pm (I know this because I purchased 6 pullets afterwards and do have that receipt) as it was the wrong tire. I was told by the cashier that something was wrong with their return system and she printed me out a paper on a regular printer (not a cash register receipt) and might have to bring the paper back in if it didn't credit back to my tractor supply credit card. Over a month went by and the refund had not been credited back to my card. I took the paper given to me by the cashier back to the store and was told by a cashier that it was just a proof of purchase copy and did not show that I had returned it. I was told to come back when a manager was there. I came back another day and was told the same thing. I called on 8/17 to make sure a manager was going to be there and was told yes and that I would need to speak with "Nate". I came in that day and explained the issue to "****" and was told that he would have to call loss prevention and to give him a few days and he would get back to me. Over a week went by and called back on 8/28 to check back with "****" since I hadn't heard from him. I spoke to a different person who said she was also a manager, explained the entire story again and she instructed me to call Customer support. I then called customer support afterwards on 8/28 at 7:12 pm and explained this entire story AGAIN and was immediately told by the customer support woman that this was an in-store issue and would need to go to the store and talk to them. At this point I'm pretty livid, told her I was tired of being ran in circles and demanded to talk to a supervisor. She then put me on hold, then came back a little while later and informed me that she DID find the return in the system and that it would be credited back to my card in 3-5 business days. And of course it's now 9/25 and the refund has STILL not been credited to my tractor supply credit card. THIS IS COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS!Customer Answer

I placed an order from Tractor Supply Co (Order **********) on Aug 13 2023 and the order I received was of empty boxes. I reported this to TSC and was told I would get a resolution after I file a ***** claim which I did. They ended up refusing to refund or reship my order despite telling me they would once I file a claim with *****. This is wrong and deceptive and now I dont have my money or my order. And I also got hours of my time wasted contacting ***** and TSC. The order was for a DeWalt 20V Grinder kit and a DeWalt 20V Brushless Trimmer. The last 4 digits of my card used was ****. Applied for in store Tractor Supply Credit card at checkout in February 2023. Cashier said if approved I can charge that days purchase on card. Card was approved and input my purchase on the new card. Several weeks later I paid my balance off. I didn't charge anything else on that card. On September 14,2023, I received bill from Tractor Supply with numerous charges totaling ****** dollars with credit of ****** dollars. Balance was **** dollars. I didn't make these charges and notified Tractor Supply ****************** They are investigating and will inform me of their findings. My complaint is that the only way someone could have made charges on my card was from the paper I filled out and gave to the checkout girl in the ******* Tractor Supply Store. The information I gave to that checkout person was used by someone at that store or to whoever information was given to. I would like the store manager to investigate to save someone else these problems. I have not used this card to make any other purchases with any other company .Business Response

The type of 4 Health you purchase is available for pick up, delivery from store, and being shipped from our Distribution Centers. If the inventory is low in stores in your District, the delivery store option becomes unavailable. The system will change from delivery to ship to store.
Our 4 Health products are also available to be rain checked. Rain checks are a great option aside from a subscription order. Once the inventory comes in, the store will contact you to advise your rain checked 4 ************* are ready for pick up. With rain checks you pay upon pick up.

If an item happens to be out of stock, a raincheck can be completed with your local TSC store at your request. A raincheck involves a store requesting a product that is out of stock, into their store, specifically for the customer. Once the desired product arrives in the store they will hold the item for you at your request to allow pick up. At the time of pick up is when payment will be required. If you are ever interested in this option feel free to contact your local TSC store directly and speak with a store manager for further details if needed.

I ordered 2 rain barrels online from Tractor Supply. I did NOT receive an email confirmation by next day so I placed another order. I received confirmation. on June 25, I spoke with ***** at **************** to cancel the order, she gave me IMS1742037 as reference. On June 26, I called customer service because credit NOT applied to my credit card. ******* gave me IMS1739593 for reference. The duplicate charge was on my statement, so again I called on August 11. ***** contacted the store who said they submitted a reversal to my card. No reversal appeared, so I called on August 18. ****** submitted ticket #TSC0573657 for the IT department to address this issue. I called September 7 for status, and ******* put me on hold for 18 minutes, so I hung up. I called back and asked ****** to escalate my call to someone who can correct this TODAY. She took my phone number, gave me ticket #*******. I never received a callback. I called September 9, *** answered. She put me on hold 9 minutes to research, then said refund was issued. I asked where to and when. She put me on hold another 38 minutes, so I hung up. How can I get this refunded? Does a refund NOT granted pertain to Reg E violation?Business Response

There has been no credit issued to my credit card or Paypal sccount as of September 18. Tractor Supply has repeatedly said they will issue refund to credit my card and have failed to do so on seven occasions when I have called, and this now makes occasion number eight. This is fraud to charge a customer for goods NOT reveived.

Our internal teams have investigated further into this issue confirming with your financial institution that there is currently an active dispute for this purchase. As a result we are unable to send out a paper check for your respective refund amount due to a dispute being filed with Paypal. Our systems will not allow a refund to process due to these disputes being filed. The current options here are to wait for the Paypal dispute to be settled, or you may contact Paypal and cancel the dispute, at this point we will then be able to send out a paper check for the full refund amount.
