1 starI am writing a custom service review regarding the Tractor Supply Co store # 650 located at 2380 Rochester RD RTE 332 NORTH Canandaigua, NY 14424, Cashier: Karen on August 10, 2023. I experienced poor customer service as my daughter, niece and I entered the store. We were greeted as if no one wanted to help us, as we waited to be asked if we needed help, no one acknowledged us. I then asked the first cashier if she was open we were directed to another associate by the name of Karen. I had a return of lawn edging in which the box was open. Karen looked at the box in a manner of disgust and asked “what’s wrong with it.” I explained it was not the right type of edging. She process the return after. I then explained to her that I was looking for a helmet for my niece for horse back riding, ask if they sold them and where I could them and if there was anyone that could help me. She told me straight back in the store and hesitated with help. I further explained that I needed help because I wanted to make sure the fit was correct. She then said hasty she could find someone. We walked and found the horse supply area with no help. Then waited about 5-6 minutes for help, no one showed up. I then called Honeoye Falls, NY Tractor Supply location and asked if they had the helmet in a large in their inventory. I explained to Jo the associate at Honeoye Falls Tractor Supply location our experience and she insured me that if I came to her location she would help us. As we walk out the Canandaigua store Karen says someone will help us, I informed her we were okay. She then yells into her walkie talkie sarcastically “she says she is good”. At that moment me and my kids felt so single out and unwelcome by Karen’s rude, condescending demeanor. As we seen the cashiers smiling with other customers. This discriminatory behavior is unacceptable and I hope this review will put a stop to it. I hope that no one experiences what myself and family had to go through at store #650.Review fromTodd A

1 starPurchased a carry on utility trailer June 2, 2023, store said they would mail me the title. I had to call to ask where title was 2 weeks after purchase, and apparently they were just holding it. Finally received it a week after that, took it to get it registered, to be told by Registrar that this trailer showed it had been registered under someone elses name in the past. Registrar called Tractor Supply, they gave no answers. Tractor Supply then told me they would order a new VIN tag and title and get it to me asap. Today, August 2, 2023, I called Tractor Supply again, only to be told they had the items and they were sitting in the managers office. They are supposed to be mailing them to me, but needless to say, I will not be using this store in Plainview, TX (Store number 1132) again! Not sure when I will actually get the documents, so I may be returning the trailer to them!Review fromLessie B

1 starI purchased a new mower in March 2023,it is now July ,motor blew up while cutting the yard,tons of white smoke etc,I spoke with tractor supply here in olive branch and was told by one manager if the issue was not corrected under the manufacturer warranty she would help me out with a new purchase,I spoke with Torro and was informed to drop it off at Germantown hardware,I had to pay 40$ for them to diagnose it,but was informed that it would be weeks weeks before I would get it back,the mower was blowing oil out of the front of the motor,it was clear and the technician stated that also,I tried to contact the female manager at tractor supply and she wouldnot answer the call,I called customer service and they were extremely rude and had no knowledge of the situation even with the case #,I was informed they cannot do anything period and to only speak with *****,I willnot ever purchase again from tractor supply and will be closing my credit card acct with them,people need to avoid this store and this company.Review fromChristine M

It's now been over 2 months and my husband still does not have a working saw. TSC told me Fri July 21 that their repair place called them Thurs July 20 and said it was ready. It's now Mon 24 and I still have not received a call from TSC saying they have saw fixed and I can pick up. I filed a complaint with TSC Corp 3 days ago and was told I would get a call asap from district. I still have not heard anything. This is unreasonable customer service. What needs done is a complete change out of a new saw as it is under warranty, but I doubt TSC will do the right thing. We have been in a major bind because of this.Review fromEvan U.

1 starThey treat employees like children and are told they are idiots and useless and they pay full-time leading employees as their base pay starting at 14 and part-time employees make up to ***** to 20 an hour and if you complain about that pay and or management about being treated unfairly as in discrimination, pay, or harassment they will demote you.Review fromJeffrey H

Absolute nightmare of a business to order materials from.
I went in to purchase some tube gates for a fence job I am doing for one of my customers. The Milton, FL location didn't have what I needed in stock, so I went to customer service to see about ordering what I needed. The manager got on the computer and told me that the Fort Walton location had what I needed in stock and that she could have them sent from that store to the Milton store. I thought that would be great since the Fort Walton store is over an hour away from me, so I went ahead and paid for the gates, expecting that they would be delivered within the next couple of days at the most. After 3 days, I got the email notification that "your items have shipped!" I was a bit annoyed that it took 3 days, since the delivery date on my receipt was for the following day when I made the purchase. Still, I figured it would arrive that day or the following day since it was only 1hr away from Milton in Fort Walton Beach. After calling the Milton store 3 days in a row to find out where my order was and getting no information at all, I called the Fort Walton store where they informed me that they do not ship items from store to store and that it would be shipping from the manufacturer... NEXT WEEK. I was upset to say the least. So I decided to just get a refund and move on to another business. Now they are telling me it will be 5 days before the money will be back in my account. I can't purchase the gates for my customer until I get that money back from TSC. So, essentially they have caused me to delay a job by 2 weeks because of their terrible system and management's lack of knowledge or training. Nothing was done to try and make this situation right. I hate to complain about a business on the BBB site before but this is my only avenue to air my grievances. 1 starAwful awful company. How are they not out of business yet? No reliability on orders placed. No body knows what’s going on at customer service. Waited multiple times to speak with representatives, for over 45 minutes each time. Finally they just canceled my order. No notice, no apology. Garbage company. 1 starWant to share the review I tried to post to their site yesterday. Got an email saying the mod reviewed it and it "didn't meet guidelines" (no info on which ones). So they replied twice about the review that they blocked (to hide negative feedback). Wish I had seen the BBB rating, would have never purchased from them!

(My review) One missing one damaged, still no response.
Buyer beware, you may not get your entire order! I only received one of the two bales of EZstraw that I ordered. On top of that, the one I did get was damaged. It minor, but considering I'm missing one it's really disappointing. I reached out to Tractor Supply thorugh the Contact page as soon as the order came in. The pop-up said I'd get a reply within 2 hours. That was around noon today, it's now almost 5pm and there has been no response from the company. I can't even use the bale they did send until i hear back from them about the one that's still missing. The tracking shows that it was delivered but I'm out nearly 20$ now because they didn't deliver the whole order. I would really like the product I paid for ASAP or a refund. Just be warned you might end up not getting what you paid for.*
So basically they stiffed me on the one, blocked the negative review and made no effort to contact me to fix their mistake. I was charged $45.77 for the 2 bales but only got one. Feels like I just got scammed. Wouldn't have ordered if I knew they would only send half my order. Even as a small business owner, I take more responsibility for my customers.
I want my money back on my bank card - not gift card for $22.89; or the item i paid for. Be nice to know why they ignored a customer complaint about missing product but responded twice about the review.Review fromKevin N

I bought a bale of alfalfa along with some other feed only to find out that it was 33 dollars. Not only was it expensive but it was also not good quality. I can’t believe that the ridiculous price in comparison with other feed stores. I will not be buying anything from tractor supply in benson Az again.Tractor Supply Company, Inc.

1 starWent to local tractor supply to purchase a Sun Dolphin 12' jon boat in their current ad for $599.99, they did not have any but said they would be happy to order one for me. They brought it up on their computer and asked me to fill in my information. I noticed there was about a $230.00 charge added onto the price to have the item they were out of shipped to their store, incidentally it also offered me the option of having it shipped to my home which was about $50.00 cheaper. I informed them I would not pay to ship an advertised item to their store and they said that was the only way they could get it. I went home and contacted their customer service and a couple days later they responded that that was the way they do business.
