      I had issues from the time I moved into my apartment, MAA Park Point in *******. When I moved out, I was charged to replace the carpet when it didn't require it. Now, trying to get in contact with someone other than the assistant manager of the property is impossible.

      The air conditioning unit has been non-functional since the inception of the lease in January 2023. I have opened multiple maintenance requests over the past six months and was told they will only replace the 20+ year old unit once the system totally fails. The unit finally completely stopped working on June 19th, 2023. I have been forced to purchase my own portable air conditioner in order to have any sort of cooling in my home. There is only windows in the living room so I have been forced to sleep on my couch for over a week now. Their contractors finally came to install a new unit on June 26th, 2023. After watching the contractors mess with my personal belongings through my camera, I came home to still no air conditioning. I went to the leasing office but the leasing agent was not aware there was still an issue. A maintenance worker came into the office and told us the contractors messed up the wiring. Understandably frustrated not having central air conditioning in 90 degree plus ******* Summer due to your neglect and incompetence, I stated I will not be renewing my lease. The maintenance worker stated that when I own a home, I can hire whatever contractors and work at whatever pace I choose. He further stated he does not care if I do not renew my lease. I assured him MAA generally wants to retain tenants who pay on time paying and have zero community complaints as long as they can. Lastly, I have contacted their corporate headquarters numerous times over the past week for some sort of relief but keep getting deferred back to the leasing office. It is clear to me the local leasing office nor corporate cares uphold their obligation to maintain a suitable living environment for their tenants.

      MAA is a good property for renting apartments but however , I was assaulted and it was recorded by assailant under age children the two of them. I had maintenance worker telling me what a member of management has allegedly said that was the I was aggressor starting rumors the Property Manager needs retraining the assistant property manager should be the the property manager in my study of management there is always two sides a situation why cant a Property manager remain neutral and understand that this has been going for 17 months not from one incident by the pool their has been 5 incidents that I kept quietly to myself and not notified MAA this property manager dont have the facts of the situation this is 5 incidents out of this one neighbor. I served my country in ***************** Army and no one should be assaulted no matter how loud I was ineffective management is what Im dealing with but if management can get training on customer service this would be the ideal place to live. I have had three tenants tell me they are not renewing their lease because of the disrespect from the rental office. This is a poor representation for MAA.********************************** PhD ************* one teach one

      This has been one of the worst years Ive experienced living in an apartment complex. I thought I was moving to into a luxury apartment, I have seen rats bigger than dogs. The water smells like garbage. This is the same water they want me to brush my teeth with, nothing works. Nothing is fixed its just replaced with something older. There are three coats of paint peeling off of my patio that fall onto my head every time I go outside, my car was towed. It cost me almost half of what I pay for rent to get it out, when they tow my car. And when I try to get my car after it was told, they had the wrong phone number on the Tow signs inside the parking garage, so I had to wait a day to get my car, which cost me more $. I have been here almost a year never have I received a gate fob, when they finally got some in stock, they wanted me to pay $50, none of the security gates work. Anybody can come in and out whenever they want. This is the worst apartment complex in the ****************** area. literally! they trick into moving down here by giving you a good deal, one free month. post Mid town Square in ******* *****. Do not move here. There are other complexes around the area that are just as affordable and way nicer. Dont make the same mistake I did.

      This company has been a nightmare to lease from. I had a maintenance worker come in without notifying me or my property manager and they only gave me $100 credit after I proved to them that the maintenance worker went through my personal property and vandalized it. In hind sight I shouldve filed a police report. On top of that, I keep getting inappropriate charges and have to dispute them. I will NEVER recommend these apartments to anyone. Not only is it dangerous physically but financially. Service work orders were always done horribly and never right the first time.

      This is absolutely the worst company and employees in the world. Had mold beg elected in my home, no help ever for anything from staff or manager. Many promises never delivered. Had police in our neighborhood all the time including a death two doors down with no communication to the residents and constant crime let go in the neighborhood with a broken gate that never worked in the almost 5 years I was there. Disgusting homes and disgusting people running it. Oh and did I mention they also were charging me almost $3,000 per month for rent. Clueless and dangerous place to live.

      Awful, conducting multiple accounts of illegal business. They cant be verified. And when Called Out and asked to be held accountable on multiple occasions they blamed the customer. I have a meeting scheduled tomorrow 5/2/2023 at 8:30 - 9:00 to discuss this in person. Which she will pin it on me. With threats. Play the security tapes. Watch it happen. Tune in to see more. They arent wrong not the customer.

      These people are just scammers. We leased the apartment for 14 months, and we have asked for a month to month extension not once, or twice, but three times. Not any one of those three times when we have visited the office have they mentioned to us that we have to provide a 30 day written notice of when we were going to terminate the extension. And now they are making us pay for an extra month of rent for a place we are not going to stay in anymore. I have sent countless of emails and have made countless of calls and left voicemails, and they have not responded to a single one. Just terrible service overall. The leasing agents are nice, but they need to be trained better at disclosing information.

      This is by far the most horrible experience I have had anywhere Ive lived. The attempts at manipulation to avoid repairs are disgusting. The lack of ownership of their mistakes isnt surprising. I have been without a working oven for several months. They say they record calls. I want my calls from months ago retrieved, where *******, the manager promised to personally follow up with me regarding this back ordered part. So, why was it another 30 days and I had to track her down again? MAA, you should be embarrassed and your staff should be reprimanded.

The door handle for the ADA ***** in your unit required a special part to be ordered to complete the repair. Unfortunately, this special part has been on back order. Our maintenance team attempted to complete this work order three separate times, and we understand that the third time was not best for your schedule, and you communicated that our team could complete the order at a better time for you. We are pleased that our team was able to install the handle yesterday and the repair has been completed.
