On June 4, 2022 I took my 2019 **** Eco Sport Se into Tires Plus for a routine oil change (******- work order number). On August 27, 2022 I took my car into ************ for a diagnostic test and was informed my engine was damaged due to the oil change. On August 29th, I filed a claim with Firestone Complete Auto Care to have my engine replaced. A person by the name of ************** was assigned my case, I have sent in every document he has asked of me. I have left serval emails and voicemails to him as well as the corporate side of this business to never hear nothing back from either. On September 27th which was the same day I filed my first complaint with the BBB in regards to trying to get a rental car because I had exhausted all means of getting back and forth to work, ************** finally sent me the information to obtain a rental car through Enterprise the exact same day as my complaint with BBB. On October 27, 2022 I received an email from ************** (which is the first time I heard from him since September 27th) informing me that I would receive $7500 to replace my engine, my out of pocket expenses and the remaining cost of the rental car. I found out that the contract for the rental car expires on October 30th. As of right now my car is still sitting in my back yard. I replied to his email letting him know that I need to have the rental car extended until my car is completely repaired because if not once again I will have no way to work, plus I do not know how long it is going to take in order for ************ to replace my engine. Once again ************** nor anyone from corporate has made an attempt to reach out to me in resolving this issue. I called customer service again and was told the only thing they could do was update my file and send another email to ************** letting him know he needs to contact me, which again has not happen. I need the rental contract extended or a better offer then the $7500 if I am going to have to pay for the car rental myself. I need helpInitial Complaint

And I agree to do all of that after the ****** US dollar for replacing the battery and a total of ****** after oil and tire change I waited 2 hrs for all the stuff to be completed. And I left . Couple days later my car start acting up. After pressing the ignition button the car will start but it was taking a while for the ignition to start and it was more noticeable more often after a week . On 10/27/22 I drove to a dinner to Walnut Creek and park on a garage . After I came back to the car, and start it . I didnt turn off and I could it drive it . I called a tow company around 6:30pm and towed the car back to the wheel works shop and paid ****** for the towed. I suppose to be at work from 7-5pm 10/28/22 called off for work and missed the day and when back in the morning to speak to the manager at wheel works and he told me that the new battery was never installed but I got charged. Regardless the manager apologized and give a refund for the tow truck. In this matter Im looking for them to reimburse me for the day I missed work. This kind of neglected service is not acceptable for any customer and I hope o can get an advice how to proceed with this . Thank you.!Initial Complaint

I took my car in to get an oil change into the Firestone at **************************************************** store # ***** managed by *********************. The lady before me stated that her car was in worse shape after she brought I did not take the warning and I chose to get an oil change and asked for toes to be rotated. Upon end of oil change they stated they could not rotate my tires as they were bald he started and wanted to charge me ****. I declined at that time and called the other Firestone closer to me they were only **** there. The original Firestone on E 120th charged me $102 for the oil change that they did improperly within one week my car had no oil in the engine ended back up in the shop and was told they had a major oil leak. When I called and asked for a refund I was rerouted to a out-of-state number and the store would offer no help no refund no recourse I would like to file a formal complaint on them so that this does not happen to other people. When I called to complain and request reverting for Ill change and question the quote ****** stated he said was he was sorry and that he had no options to help me.Initial Complaint

On July 18, 2022, I visited the firestone at *****************************************************. I had my front brakes/rotors done. As time pasted, I heard whistling and rubbing. I assumed it was my back brakes so I made an appointment at the ********** Firestone to have them done. Unfortunately it wasn't my back breaks it was the front brakes that I recently had done. The manager on duty stated that whomever did the brakes didn't lube them and the pads needed to be changed as well to a better pad. He suggested that I go back to where the brakes where done. I drove to the **** Firestone and requested to speak to a manager. He was helping another customer so I waited my turn. Once he finished with the customer ahead me he picked up the phone and dialed a number not acknowledging that I was standing there. He did this 2xs. The salesman that greeted me asked me again if he could help me. I stated I would like to speak with the manager on duty if he would let him know I was waited on him being I was standing directly in front of him. He then acknowledged I was standing there and asked me what could he do for me. I proceeded to tell him that I brought my car came in for services in July and my brakes needed to be redone being they where whistling and rubbing. He stated he could schedule me for Friday or Saturday. I explained to him that I had an appointment on Friday and prior plans on Saturday. I had left work early to bring the car to get brakes looked at. I asked if I could go ahead and get them done today being I would be an inconvenience to come back being I left work early. I felt the wrong needed to be righted since the service was rendered at that facility. He couldn't help me he stated. I in return asked if I could be refunded and take to car somewhere else. He stated he couldn't do that. I then asked for the customer service # and he stated he didn't know it. I told him no worries I'd contact the BBB and see if I could get the number there.Initial Complaint

I took my van to the Tires Plus at ***************************. in ********************************, where the employee that attempted a tire repair jacked my van up on the lower body metal, instead of on the frame of the vehicle, that resulted in major damage to the side metal body. They put it in writing that they would cover repairs of the damage they did, however they still have not, and thats been 5 weeks ago, and they are completely ignoring my emails/phone calls. I have the pictures of them doing the damage, as well as the invoice stating they did the damage, wanting me to take the vehicle for a damage estimate, that was turned into them 4 weeks ago.Initial Complaint

I bought four Firestone Weathergrip Tires at Wheelworks on 10/23/22. There is supposed to be a mail-in rebate. When I called Wheelworks they said to call Firestone. Firestone said the claim could only be submitted online at firestonerewards.com. For 4 days that website has displayed a banner 'There was an error processing your request'. When I click 'Submit a claim' it bombs out. Clearing the cache doesn't help. Using another browser doesn't help. I called Firestone and they said there was no other way to submit a claim. I want a way to submit my claim that works. I am happy to use snailmail since it is advertised as a 'mail -in rebate'.Initial Complaint

Accident date 9-14-**. I *****************************, was driving my 2016 ******* ***** Fe when I reversed into a tree. I had my vehicle towed that same day by my car insurance company (Progressive) to a repair shop, Firestone, address ********************************************************************************. Insurance claim # **-7073187. Received a repair estimate from Progressive via email on 10-17-**. Gross total of repair costs equaling to the dollar amount of $3,507.13 subtracting my deductible amount of $350.00 which is stated on the estimate as "total customer responsibility" which makes the total $3157.13. On this estimate it is clearly stated in the prior damages notes section on page 1: "scratches all over, uneven wear on left rear & front tire." But tires were NOT with the Progressive estimate of total repair costs. On the date of 10-25-** apun request I received photos sent via text from a firestone employee of the firestone estimated total repair costs which was to the dollar amount of $4444.86. A dollar amount difference of $1287.73. Tires were on this new Firestone estimate to the dollar amount of $472.25 which was work not authorized by either Progressive nor myself. Due to this surprising difference I was unable to retain my vehicle & had to have continued use of my issued rental from Enterprise from 10-24-** through 10-26-** am until an estimated time of 9am when the rental was retrieved. As of 2pm on the date of 10-26-** I have spoken to my personal insurance representee & have had them escalate my situation & at this time am awaiting to hear from a Progressive field manager in the ************** area. As a result of this situation I have missed work on 10-26-** & will miss work until this situation is resolved. Based off my insurance information I am only obligated to pay my deductible of $350.00 & the rental. I am not understanding why there is an out of pocket difference of $1287.73 that I need to pay to get my vehicle back after an accident while I have full coverage.Initial Complaint

On 09/07/2022 I went "driving" my car (2011 **** ** *******) to Firestone Complete Auto Care in Beaverton, (13025 SW Canyon Rd, Beaverton, OR 97005) for a General Inspection and pressure test cooling system.
Before I agree to the service they told me the approximate amount and I disagree with the price. I told the person in charge that I will take my car back and look for a different option.
Firestone issued an Invoice on which they describe the performing test but they State something wrong: "CUSTOMER HAS VEHICLE TOWED..." I didn't use any Towing Company to get there, I went driving my car to the shop. When they returned my key and open the Engine hood I notice the coolant reservoir was empty and requested more coolant which they give me. While I was driving home the Engine sent me a Big Warning about the temperature of the engine was way over the limit, I stop the car and realize that was an empty coolant. I call to a Mechanic for help y some way I made home after he reconnected the upper hose to the waterline pipe.
I took my car to my mechanic shop and he found that the Water Pipe connection to the coolant reservoir was broken.
Why did Firestone LIE when they said that " CUSTOMER HAS VEHICLE TOWED", is because they in fact broke the water pipe, and almost I burned my engine.
What I want is compensation:
Water Pipe Original from **** $350.
Mechanic time and labor: $510
total of: $860
Please let me know what will be the next step

Bought a car from Carvana brought it to Bridgestone and ******* ***** to diagnose and repair the front and rear brakes as needed. I scheduled an appointment to take it in the diagnose that the front brakes rotors needed to be replaced they said they inspected the back brakes and that they were in good working order. Came back for a second visit to replace everything and they had ordered the wrong parts after taking two hours to get the car in. Third visit they replace the front brakes and rotors took 3 1/2 hours. Immediately after my brakes were starting to grind squeal really loud. After the fourth visit they said that they couldnt figure out why they were squeaking but that the front calipers rear rotors and brakes needed to be replaced. At this time the vehicle was no longer under Carvanas warranty so now it was going to be out of pocket. The store manager was extremely rude and wouldnt even attempt to fix the squeaking from the brakes that they replaced that were still under warranty by Bridgestone. Placed a complaint through Bridgestone corporate took them almost 2 months to even call me and then another two weeks after to come up with a resolution. The resolution was absolutely nothing. All I want is for my vehicle that I brought in from the beginning that was under warranty for everything to be replaced as needed to be replaced.
