I have paid for multiple lifetime services on two of my vehicles. I was contacted by the police and told I couldn't return to the property. I have no idea why and even the police were not informed of a reason. Since I can not return to the shop then I would like my money back for the services.Initial Complaint

I took my daughter ********'s 2005 **** Escape to Firestone located at *** **** Blvd.Smyrna TN on Thursday Oct 6 to have new rotors & brakes installed. She signed up for Firestone's RESOLV program. She paid $544 for brakes & rotors plus $66 for 1 of 12 payments for RESOLV. We were told power steering pump needed replacing immediately & took Escape next day to have done. Firestone mgr ***** told us they tried 2 refurbished PS pumps & they were defective. They kept Escape over weekend & tried a 3rd pump. Mgr said if it didn't work, he was going to get one from a dealership on Minday, Oct 10. On Monday, we didn't hear from Firestone so I called them at 4 PM. Mgr ***** told us it was going to take over a week to get another power steering pump & it may be best if we took Escape to a dealership ourselves. ********'s dad drove Escape home (3 miles) on Oct 10 with it making horrible crackling sounds! Before he got home, the power steering went out completely. We filed a complaint with Bridgestone/Firestone Americas in Nashville, TN and as of today, Monday, October 17, 2022, we have yet to hear anything. My daughter is out $544 plus $66 plus signed up for a year-long commitment with Firestone's RESOLV account where you get repair discounts. And, the vehicle cannot be driven as there is no power steering! Before we took it to Firestone, we would add fluids as needed and Escape would drive fine. Now, our daughter is out a lot of money, and no transportation to & from her job.Initial Complaint

I have been going to various Tires Plus locations for the last 10+ years and have had several issues but they had always seemed apologetic and helpful, plus my mom and I use their credit card so it was convenient. But I brought my car in on Tuesday because the blower was not working and they said they would check it at 8am Wednesday. I called at 1pm Wednesday for an update and they had forgotten about me and said they would be on it right away. I called again at 2:30 pm and they said they would have to open the dash for $120 dollars and I said that doesn't seem right to charge me when you forgot about me and now the day is lost and we are going on a road trip on Thursday. They said there was nothing they could do and that if they needed parts it would be days anyway. So I said forget it, I'm picking it up. Well when I picked it up I then had a new check light on, and my glove was was pried open and broken, it will not close now. It doesn't even have a lock on it so I'm not sure why this was done. Had an a appointment at 2pm. I showed up at 1:36pm. My vehicle was taken back to start front end aliment at 2:48pm. The guy drove it two different times. On second time he flew thru parking lot and swung in to a parking space. I thought to myself (That is not how you drive someone's vehicle) I went to pay and the guy tells me that I need new tires cause the tech couldn't do the aliment properly. While I have new tires on the truck. I say they are new. I had ball joints and tire rod put it was pulling to the right a little bit. When I get it back the steering wheel is not straight like I asked them to do. Also it pulls very bad to the left now. So there excuse is the tires. I asked if the guy was certified on the front end machine they didn't know. So they call me and say they want to give me my back but I asked them to send it in the mail they refuse to mail it. I don't to have anything to do with this company don't want to even go on there property. I have video of the drive home. Have pic of mileage they only put 1 mile on the truck that is enough to check out an aliment. The tech said he checked tire pressure which was not done cause the paper work didn't match the tire pressure. Everything he said he checked and said it all was good when it was not. Never checked anything. I think I am owed for wasting my time off work. Now they want me to take more of my time to refund me when they can just mail me a check.Initial Complaint

September 11, 2022, I purchased tires, got a wheel alignment, oil change, and new windshield wipers for my 2014 **** **********. When they finished, I inspected the wheels and tires before Leaving the lot. My Chrome wheels have a thin baked on coating around the chrome that is scratched up. I immediately brought it to the managers attention, *********. She lied and said they had nothing that would scratch the wheels. I told her yes you do because they weren't scratched. Then I asked for the district managers phone number. He had me to take the car to wheel works to have the wheels repaired. They said they couldn't repair the wheels. ********* lied to the district manager and told him the the person at wheel works said that the wheels had curb damage. Wheel works did not say that, they just said that they couldn't repair the wheels. When I got back to Firestone, ********* the manager had a booklet for me to look at rims, they were only about 3-4 types of rims that I could choose from. It wasn't the same rims that are on the car, they looked like much cheaper rims that didn't even go with the car. I told them that I want the same rims that came with the car. I went to the Dodge dealership in Collierville where my car was bought from to see if they had the rims. They did, I immediately called********* gave her the price of the rims. Then the district manager called me and said that it had to be a claim filed. That a adjuster from Firestone had to come out. I hadn't heard from the adjuster or any one from Firestone and it's been about 2 weeks. I want the ****** rim on my car that came with the car and would like this done in a timely matter. They are stalling because they don't want to purchase the same ones that they messed up because they are expensive.Initial Complaint

Dear Bridgestone,On July 26, 2022, *************************, arrived at Tires Plus ******* ** location around 6:30 am thirty minutes early after being told first come first serve the day before. Once he entered the building at 7:00 am he was aggressively told by *********************** there's no way you can be first I already have seven vehicles left over from the previous day. He seem very upset his eyes where blood shot red. I (************************* ) then said to him nicely, sir, you was in the parking lot early along with me once you got inside and discovered the extra vehicles, why not just a quick heads up.That's when *********************** became super irate, aggressive, and verbally abusive. ***** started yelling and said it's not my f****** job to tell you. I deal with you when I deal with you. I heard customer's say wow be hide me and walked out. As I was talking he begun to yell more while screaming I'm not f****** talking to you. While at the same time directing his hands in a sudden violent actions towards me. Him being the aggressor I was really fearful. By that time, I was about to call ******* police and he said oh let me call the police, I replied please do. As a matter of fact, there was one right next to the hotel, I spoke him when I was pulling in that's when he got quiet. That's when I turned on my video and recorded him saying no worries I have them on speed dial. After speaking with several members of the community and ex customers we discovered other incidents, where ***** threatened, abused, and assaulted, customers and employees during his employment at Wal-Mart. After finding all this to be true Wal- Mart eventually terminated *****. ***** is described as being a large and intimidating man, standing 6'3" tall weighing at least 250 pounds with military combat experience. I still spent money and they refused my alignment that was paid for previously I've contacted Bridgestone several times about this issue and they haven't responded.Initial Complaint

September 19, 2022 van was taken in to have an oil change and CEL diagnosed. Sept. 20, 2022 we were notified we could pick up our vehicle and did so at end of business that day. We noticed 4 points of body damage to the vehicle but could not reach the store employee that took our payment. Sept. 21 I took vehicle back to show the damage and was told that the store manager would contact. I received no phone calls back despite leaving messages multiple times over the next 4 days. My husband took the van back up that Saturday, September 24,2022 and spoke to manager at which time manager first tried to deny doing damage to vehicle and then subsequently admitted fault when shown proof that the damage was not there prior. Manager then offered to give us the amount of store credit in damages OR to contact an adjuster to get the vehicles damage fixed. We expressed to the manager that we were unhappy with his inability to return calls and messages and would like the damages fixed by way of the adjuster and insurance. Manager has since decided to forgo scheduling an adjuster, has been dismissive, rude and will not make the necessary steps to get the damage fixed. I have tried to also reach out to corporate and the person handling my case has told me that the manager is responsible for contacting the adjuster. Back in the 3rd week in July I had a busted ball-joint and the car was towed to Firestone Complete Auto Care on Keystone Ave. They kept the care for almost two weeks to Fix ball joint, control arm, & stablizer bar. On October 5, 2022. My I had a busted ball joint in the same area and the car was told to Firestone on 820 W. McKinley Ave, Mishawaka, In 46545. The Indpls location promised they would fix it and call the Mishawaka location last Thurdsday. But when I called teh Mishawaka location they said no one had called. Now I've rented a car for two weeks and I called the Corporate head quarters and keep getting a message saying the office is closed. This complaint is directed to the Bridgestone Retail Operations Regional Manager(s) of Firestone Complete Auto Care covering ****, ********* *******, ** on the handling of my automobile repair claim. On April 18, I was visiting my relatives in ****, **, when my 2011 ********** GTI would not start. I was referred to the Firestone ********* #******, at ***********************************************, where my car was towed. After checking the car, Service Adviser ****** advised a complete engine assembly overhaul, that their business would be able to complete. As I just recently purchased this used vehicle from ******************* Auto Mart on 12/23/21 "AS-IS with-out Warranty," (making payments) and I was 300 miles from home, I felt I had no choice for the service. I had to take a Greyhound Bus home in order not to miss work. I was able to pick up my completed GTI on May 30, after paying the Firestone bill of $7,427.95, ****** stated that this warrentied work would be honored at all Firestone Complete Auto Care centers. A few weeks into June, I noticed significant amount of oil loss, and drove it to my local FirestoneCAC **************************************************************. Service Manager ************************* said the engine was faulty & needed to be replaced again, HOWEVER, his crew would not be able to do this & stated that only a few FCAC in North ******* would even attempt an overhaul. Weeks later, ****** said ****** in **** was responsible (& Auto Zone & the motor manufacturer) for this and was going to submit a claim that I was able to retrieve, IN AUGUST. File #**********. ***** later a FCAC representative "****" called to tell me he was assigned to this and asked if I needed a rental car. I had just been woken up from working my 3rd shift shift and had to get back to him, but he had never returned my call, until MONDAY OCTOBER 10, to inform me HIS "regional manager was NOT responding to his inquiries." My car has been in FCAC lot all this time. PLEASE inform me how to proceed on this matter.
