On 7/3/22 I paid for a full synthetic oil change at this location. They performed the service incorrectly and after only ***** miles my engine failed and now needs to be replaced. The repair is going to cost around $7,600.Initial Complaint

I bought two front tires from Firestone on 9/21/2022. On Monday I0/10/2022 I had a flat tire in one of those tires. I had the car towed over to them at 10:30 in the morning and called Firestone to say it was on the way. **** did say they were busy with appointments but he assured me that they would fit me in. What he didn't say was that it would be mid-afternoon before they could get to this 15 minute repair. We'll call that evasive, though I found it bordering on dishonest. Given no timeline and needing to get a ride over there to get my car, I called repeatedly to see if my car was ready. I got a different story every time I called and was treated rudely. Three o'clock in the afternoon the repair was finally done. Within 30 hours of that repair I found my hubcap to be missing! As I see it, Firestone owes me a hubcap for that level of incompetence.Initial Complaint

My car was serviced by Firestone which resulted in negligence leading for the need to replace my engine . I have reached out to Bridgestone numerous times regarding my claim and the ignore my calls and do not return messages. I have no vehicle and can not afford a rental . The Firestone dealer in West *******, ** damaged my vehicle when I went in for a slow leak tire repair on 9/15/22. The serviceperson admitted that they damaged the car, and he filed a claim with Bridgestone Corporate. The next day (9/16/22), I received an email from *****************************, a Senior Claims Specialist at Bridgestone asking me to get a repair estimate and then once approved, they would get me a rental car and take care of the vehicle repair costs. I sent the repair estimate on 9/22/22, and then again on 9/23, again on 9/27, and again on 10/3. I have also called and left at least 6 voicemails for ****************** who has never bothered to respond. Clearly, she is hoping I will just go away. I spoke with my ****** insurance agent, and he also left a message for ******************. Fortunately, I took a lot of pictures on the day of the incident and had my insurance agent on the phone who heard the serviceperson at Firestone admit liability. It seems that I will need to file a claim or have my lawyer contact Bridgestone.Initial Complaint

This business is bad to deal with. A few years ago I purchased a lifetime tire policy.After my car was involved in an prior accident, the body shop repaired it, but the front wheels needed to be aligned.I brought it into to Firestone where I have purchased a lifetime alignment policy.The Service attendant *** claimed that they could not align my wheel due to seized brake caliper. I drove the car to that location and was not aware of a Brake problem, if so the car would have pulled to the left or right, it did neither. I told *** that I am not aware of this problem, but I need to see what he is talking about so I am coming now. I got to the store in ************, ** a few minutes after 4pm.*** had left, there was a visiting Manager by the name of ****** filling in. The shortened version is that ****** stated that nothing was wrong with my Calipers. ****** also called in the Mechanic who worked on the car who also concurred that nothing was wrong with the calipers but that the "left side was tight" another BS. But he would align the wheel tomorrow morning. That they did.This wasted my day and gas to be like to by this *************.This is bad and the public should know this is not a trustworthy establishment.Initial Complaint

I placed an order online only to be told in store the next day that they can't help me because of known issues with their online ordering system. They held my money for over a week and did not provide the services I paid for because they claimed they couldn't due to the online ordering system 'automatically rejecting my order' even though I had two separate people confirm for me that my order was manually rejected by the store manager, one of which was the store manager himself. The store manager remarked that this would be a 'disaster for the customer' while on the phone with the Help Center before turning me away, telling me he can't help me and I'll have to wait for the money to be refunded to my account. I proceeded to call the customer service line only to be told they are well aware of the issue and that I'll have to wait 7-10 days to get my money back. Upon requesting to speak to a supervisor I asked why the system was online if they knew it was broken, to which she replied 'oh it's actually being worked on right now' and didn't address why it was still online despite this. I submitted a complaint to the area manager who did not call me back within the 48 hour window I was promised and instead closed my complaint without contacting me, as I was informed by a rep the next day I called. Upon escalating my issue to a regional manager, I waited 4 days for a call only to speak on the phone for 2 minutes to explain my issue and then never receive a call back despite the regional manager interrupting me claiming he needed to 'track my refund' and promised to call me right back. I feel I've been defrauded as multiple people within the company were well aware of the ongoing issues with their system and yet they still held my money and did nothing to rectify the situation. I have made multiple attempts to reach out to someone and I've been blatantly shoved aside.Initial Complaint

I went to Firestone Compete Auto Care on Transit Rd to see if they were able to repair a puncture in my tire causing a slow leak. I was told that due to the location of the puncture that they were not able to repair it. They recommended that I purchase 2 new tires from them instead as the leak was not repairable. I declined their offer and took my car to another garage (***********) who said the puncture was repairable and they were able to fix it for me.I feel that as a unaccompanied female (aside from my infant who was with me at the time) I was an easy target for the Firestone employee. They tried to take advantage of me and sell me 2 tires that I did not need as the leak was repairable.Initial Complaint

This company is listed by my warranty company as an authorized center to get my oil change and tire rotation. Once I arrived at the location, I was advised that they do not do the warranty work. I contacted my warranty company, and they advised me that they are. I advised the young lady, and he stated that particular location does not do warranties per her phone call to her manager *****. I advised did they notify my warranty company so that this location would not be listed and the lady at the counter was clueless and a clear waste of my time. Subject: *****************, 2007 Pontiac G6 1.On August 4, 2022, four (4) Primewell PS Touring BL 225/50R17 94V ****** ************ Warranty tires were purchased to put on ****'s car. Three wheels on the car were aluminum and one was metal which replaced a tire/wheel that was destroyed.2.On August 9, an aluminum wheel was purchased from ***** Auto Parts. On August 14, 2022, a Primewell tire was put on that wheel at the Cross Keys Firestone location on August 14, 2022. The intent was to use that tire as a spare. Decided not to use the tire on the metal wheel because it would not fit in the trunk and the 'donut' was in good condition.3.Work was being done on the car. I had possession of the car from August 12th thru 14th and witnessed the aluminum wheel/tire being put on vehicle on August 14th. **** moved to **** ** on August 15th. 4.In early September, went to the St *** Store where the tires were purchased to get a credit for the tire which was on the car for only ten days. Was told by ********, ************, that it was not a Primewell Tire which it was not.5.The tire on the metal rim was put on at Northwest Auto Tires. Took the mounted tire/wheel and spoke with ****, ************. Because the tire and metal wheel were both provided by the customer, no record was made of the tire being mounted. Also, the tire on the metal wheel is balanced; and Northwest only balances tires at the customer's request that are actually put on vehicles.6.Spoke with ******** several weeks ago and was told someone would contact me. Attempted to contact *********************************, ************, today to no avail. 7.I am requesting a refund in the amount of $157 because I think a mistake was made and only three (3) new Primewell tires were put on the vehicle on August 4th. . Date - 08/20/2022 - 08/22/2022 Tires Plus is denying the damage done to my vehicle while in their possession. I did not see the damage before we left but not even a mile down the road I noticed the damage to the passenger front fender and right fog light while driving along side. We immediately turned around and went back to the store. When I arrived, ***** (the only service advisor still there) came out and inspected my vehicle. He took pictures and gave me his bosses ( *****, the *** card and said to call him around noon. I asked if this was something that could be handled over the phone as I live 45 minutes away which he agreed it would. The next day I call ***** and he says that he needs to see the vehicle in person and no pictures would help. Conveniently he works the exact same schedule I do and would not stay late for me to bring the vehicle back after work. He said that I can have someone else bring it for me. I have my brother and sister-in-law bring the car in and after looking at the damage for not even a minute says that the damage was not caused by them. He is saying "the vehicle has hail damage, so it could be that or a ding at Target by a shopping cart." For one, the car sits in my driveway and never gets driven. For two, I just had the vehicle inspected by State Farm for the hail damage a few days prior. Don't you think they would have highlighted the damage not caused by hail? We had the damage inspected by a body shop that shares the parking lot with Tires Plus. They provided a quote and specifically stated that the damage was NOT hail and was fairly recent. ***** denied it. He won't give me his managers number either. I started a claim with their corporate resolution team and their reply was "We can not confirm whether we caused the damage or not so we will not be repairing the damage." ************ is a joke and I will make it heard to not conduct business with this establishment.
