First I sent an email on 08/16/22 to BridgestoneSupport but they only replied that we need to send your request to the store and there is no action yet and that is why I make a complaint here.

2- They invoiced ********************* Rotor each for 112.99 for a total $225.98 while its price on ******** is $65.99 each for a total of $131.98 (https://***************************************************rotor/p/***************************************)!

I took my vehicle in due to a problem I was having. My car would shut off at random times, mainly when breaking or at a complete stop. As soon I as left their lot on August 7th my car shut off again, so my issue was not fixed. They did nothing and told me it would fix itself in 2 days. Car continued to shut off and even shut off when I was driving, coming to a stop. Took it back in to them upon their request to tell me nothing was wrong and sent me on my way. Car continues to shut off and they refuse to contact me or issue a refund for non services. I have been trying to resolve this for 2 weeks and get my money back but always told I will be contacted within 48 hours. They refuse to return my call, contact me, or address this any further.Initial Complaint

My Chevy ******** was seen at the ************** Firestone shop on 8/1/22 for undiagnosed fuel system issues. Their Service Advisor called stating the tech found 2 leaking fuel injectors and recommended that all 8 fuel injectors were replaced instead. He then stated another issue was found with a leaking intake manifold. I opted to not get the manifold done, but then the advisor checked with the tech who stated the manifold has to be removed anyway to get to the injectors. I reluctantly stated I would get all of the work done for $******. The parts were not available, so the job would be completed on 8/2/22. The advisor attempted to comfort me by saying they "guarantee" all of their work. "If what we diagnose does not fix your vehicle, we promise to do the work over until it is fixed." That next day, the advisor called asking if I had 10 minutes to discuss my vehicle. He informed me there was a problem with my SUV that they knew was not present before. It was discovered when the truck was started up. He said they believe some debris fell into the engine area during the repairs and the result is internal engine failure. The Store and Area Mgr, who recognized my name from a previous time when I received bad services at another store, were both aware and gathered info to send to their Claims Dept. In short, Firestone admitted on an 8/5/22 invoice they damaged my engine and a Bridgestone rep stated in email to me that it would likely be an engine replacement. They started a tow and repair process for either a rebuilt or replaced engine, then once the dealership provided the $********* engine replacement estimate, they changed their mind. On 8/23/22, the Bridgestone rep emailed me a $***** offer, including a tow service from the dealership to a location of my choice and a 2-week rental once I release them from the engine damage claim. I want my truck fixed, along with a sincere written apology for the very poor, cold-hearted service and disregard for my livelihood.Initial Complaint

We (**************) took our **** in (February 2022) to get fixed since the parts were still under warranty. We have taken our **** back multiple times to have it fixed because they were not fixing it. The problem at hand was that the car was visibly shaking while driving it and making turns. It is not August 2022 and Firestone is refusing to service us anymore. They will not give us a refund on the amount of money we spent back in February on top of the warranty parts. The area manager has given us 2 new tires as an apology for the inconvenience. We did not know about this until after he already put the tires on. We contacted customer service and told them we wanted to be reimbursed for the original money spent because we now have to take the **** somewhere else to have it fixed and pay out of pocket even more, we also explained we wanted to be reimbursed for the work days one of us had to take off to take the **** to the shop. He refused. We did not sign the paperwork agreeing to accept the tires. We had also had second and third opinions done (for free) at 2 other (different) mechanic shops. They both said the wheel hub was bad and needed to be replaced. Firestone assured us the wheel hub was in "perfect condition" and that they only changed the wheel bearings. The last time we took it in (they had to tow it because we weren't able to drive it.) they replaced the axle. Now they have ceased business with us and referred us to another shop in a different part of town, but we don't know the name, address, or phone number of this shop. We just know it's a Firestone located in *************. Google is not showing us a location in that area.Initial Complaint

I just purchased a new tire, installation and alignment on August 12, 2022. I was on a major highway,, route 42, driving, with my son in the car, and it felt like my tire was gonna fall off so I pulled over on the side of the highway. Turns out 4 of my lug nuts were so loose I could unscrew them with my hands. Two of them were almost completely falling out they were so loose.. They could have killed me and my son or someone else..this is serious! I **** NEVER go back to them ever again!! Thankfully my son and I are safe and ok. But if I kept driving like that on the highway I don't know if we would have made it to where we were going. This could have seriously injured or killed someone !Initial Complaint

On August 11th I brought my vehicle in to be serviced They told me that a water out of housing would have to be changed Then they contacted me and told me that my fan wasn't working and that that had to be replaced When I went in to pick it up the bill was almost $1300 I asked them for the parts that they replaced and we had them looked at there was nothing wrong with the water out of housing I'll be other than a whole that was attached to it that had a pinhole So they charged me for a part that I did not need They also can't be $54 for a hose You know I'm not too sure if the fan was even out at all Their prices are outrageous when I looked at the prices of these parts their prices were 3 to 4 times higher I also had them change a serpentine belt And when I got the car back it is now making noises it's never made before My husband went in to try to talk to them but they got into a Heated exchange Shall we left Also when they did put the serpentine belt in They overtightened it too much. Your Area Manager, ********** NEVER responded to our inquiry. Your Firestone on ********************** broke parts of my vehicle and its improper installation costed us over $**** at **** ***** dealership. We have written notes from the technician at the dealership. You owe us what we paid at Firestone. It's beyond our comprehension that a large company such as yourself simply disregard customer's complaints for months!

This complaint is concerning the damage this location has done to my co-worker's car. I drove her car and was shocked at the condition. This car cannot be driven over and a road that is not a smooth surface. It is disgusting that Firestone has dismissed all of her concerns and is refusing to do anything about their terrible service. They are also refusing to refund her money for a lifetime wheel alignment since she will never return to this location again. ***** the manager has become disrespectful and just nasty and was laughing at her when she came to the location.
