We bought brand new tires and took our car here for an alignment. We paid 200 for the alignment and our mechanic was told today that was not completed. Our tires were purchased 6 months ago and are worn to the wires and needing to be replaced because our rear end suspension was not replaced correctly even though we were chaged $1200 for this job. We brought our car back in March for an oil change and breaks that cost us another $1200. After driving the vehicle for a week we discovered the oil cap was not replaced properly and there was an immense amount of oil all over our engine bay we had to have our vehicle towed back to the business for the manager to tell me that eventhough I was charged for the oil change, they never actually completed the job. I have had nothing but problems with this vehicle I have paid this compnay around 2600 and the only thing that was properly completed were my brakes and caliper replacement. I want a full refund due to the stress and loss of time AND WAGES because I cannot use my vehicle at this point until all the issues have been corrected.Initial Complaint

Regarding this complaint, on June 10, 2025, I took my vehicle to Firestone for an alignment among other services. After retrieving my vehicle, I noticed that my steering wheel was crooked, my vehicle was very noisy, the whole front of vehicle shook (rattled) when I drove, my windshield fluid had been drained. I called in the complaints and was scheduled to take vehicle back the next day, June 11, 2025 for correction. On June 11, 2025, when I received my vehicle after alleged correction, I noticed my windshield fluid line was cut and the fluid squirted out from the side of the hood. I went back to the counter to report it and was told by the technician that the line had dry rotted. The line is in perfect condition and not dry rotted. The steering wheel is still crooked, and the vehicle still rattles when driving. I hear a hum and feel vibration in the accelerator pedal, my power steering line was also cut and is leaking onto the transmission, and the odor from the leakage comes through the vent when air conditioner is on. My transmission has less fluid than when i took my vehicle to firestone, and my transmission makes my car jerk when shifting gears. Firestone also charged me for services not performed. I would like the complained of conditions checked out and corrected.Initial Complaint

On June 25, 2025, I authorized only three services at Firestone Complete Auto Care, ************************************************:- A/C performance check with dye - Courtesy check - Brake fluid exchange The initial work order (attached) totals ***** dollars. Firestone later billed me for more than ***** dollars in additional repairs such as an A/C compressor, condenser, refrigerant recharge, and tire packages. I never approved any of this work. Their invoice lacks my signature or any proof of authorization. I believe this violates Georgia rules for repair authorization.Resolution requested:- Adjust the invoice to include only the services I approved.- Confirm that no debt collection or credit reporting will result.*Service manager became rude and refused to negotiate claiming the services were authorized, wouldnt take any of my paperwork. The service manager was rude, and they were holding car. Even refusing me the ability to pay under protest threatening me with a fraud offense.Initial Complaint

Had vehicle towed to this business. Was sent an estimate that the brakes needed to be replaced and a state inspection requested. I had fog lamps attached that I purchased and placed when I purchased the vehicle. Was called by ******* who said you must have these lights removed or it won't pass inspection. Firestone is the business that cut the wires years ago due to state inspection. I was charged ****** to remove the lamps and pass the state inspection. The brakes and their associated parts were replaced. After driving it felt like the brakes were engaged. Took the vehicle back and was the told the calipers were rusted out and needed to be replaced. According to my receipt the brake system was visually inspected and the CALIPERS are a part of the brake system and if they were "rusted" they should have been replaced the first time. (******) and if the did a state inspection, the calipers should have been replaced during that time but they were not.I asked for the fog lamps back and was told it was in the trunk. They were not. The manager went to the back and turned back around and said they were throw in the garbage. I do not believe this. This is a vintage vehicle 2006 Jeep Wrangler Sport which had fog lamps and side steps purchased and installed when the vehicle was purchased. I do not believe seasoned mechanics would through these lights in the garbage because they understand the value of them and the vehicle. This is the only place I take all of my vehicles for service or repair and I live 1.5 hours away. This is only the second time I have had such an unpleasant experience here. The manager said he would reimburse me half of the price of replacement which is unsatisfactory for me. I want BOTH lamps replaced.I believe that the caliper should have been replaced with the brakes and rotors. We were told the fog lamps were in the trunk and they were not, according to the manager they were thrown away.Initial Complaint

Firestone care center denied me customer of service after said care center performed an alignment allegedly on my vehicle that service day in April. After driving my Silverado 2500 hd for 2 months I noticed my front tires were worn extremely bad due from alignment or negligent of alignment service according to Discount tires down the road, the salesman banned me from property when I cough him in a lie referring to perhaps you had bad wear on tires prior to alignment then he shows me his technicians ticket report showing the tire tread depths on all four tires on vehicle day of the said service in April which shown was 6/32nds on all four tires, indicating by those numbers I did not have prior wear damage to front tires. He then became very unprofessional and banned me from property at the care center. I then sat in parking lot to call Firestone customer service to file complaint. I received a case number ******* to which nice personnel I should hear back from a regional manager regarding this case in 48 hrs . So far I have not been contacted since by anyone and Im unaware of any investigation on behalf of Firestone which in turn they should be responsible for the $873 cost of replacing my front tires due to their negligence to perform duties of service to my vehicle as I paid for in the $200 lifetime alignment but also trying to escape accountability for the fraud they do. I am not able to drive my vehicle or fix the issue myself out of pocket so as not to disrupt or remove the evidence of their fraud on my pickup until this issue is resolved by any means. This store is charging people for services not performed and its unacceptable and ultimately the customers pay heavy price. I would like to solve the issue in house with Firestone with replacing my front tires with exact ones from discount tire and a full refund of my lifetime alignment plan because I will not ever go back to Firestone in my lifetime . Thank you for attention in this matter.Initial Complaint

On 6/26/2025, I visited Firestone Complete Auto Care for an alignment inspection and was told there was a major issue with my control arm. The technician said it needed to be replaced and quoted me over $800 for parts and labor. I was pressured into believing this was urgent and dangerous. However, a second diagnostic from ******** and another shop revealed the issue may not have been as critical or urgent, and no parts were actually missing as Firestone implied.I believe the diagnosis may have been exaggerated or misrepresented, possibly to upsell an expensive service. I requested clarity and supporting documentation and was told a technician would tighten it up then suddenly I was told welding might be necessary. The entire exchange felt inconsistent and untrustworthy.I am seeking accountability for what appears to be misleading automotive service tactics, possible upcharging, and pressure to approve costly repairs that may not have been needed.Initial Complaint

In late May, I brought my 2015 Jeep Wrangler JK to Firestone (****, ** location) for service due to concerns with the thermostat and water pump. I authorized and paid for both components to be replaced. After this service, my vehicle immediately began experiencing serious overheating issues that had not occurred prior.I returned the vehicle, and Firestone claimed the issue was due to air in the cooling system and attempted to bleed it again. Despite this, the Jeep overheated again, including dangerously on the freeway. I later discovered they had not properly bled the cooling system initially this was verbally acknowledged by one of their own employees on my return visit.Additional problems:I have documentation showing coolant reservoir levels dropping drastically after the service.I experienced engine temperature spikes and had to stop driving out of concern for further damage. Two invoices from the same day show conflicting mileage one at ******* miles at 4:00 p.m., and one showing ******* miles at 5:50 p.m. This discrepancy raises concerns about their documentation ************ rental was provided despite the issue rendering my vehicle unsafe and undrivable for multiple ******* of now, I have paid $1,441 for failed repairs, $151 for towing, and $95.36 for a diagnostic. I am left without a safe, working vehicle all after trusting Firestone to perform basic cooling system repairs. I am seeking full reimbursement for these costs, and I would like Firestone to cover a proper repair at a reputable third-party shop. Im also requesting compensation for the stress, time lost, and lack of transportation caused by their repeated negligence.Initial Complaint

I had a warranty on my vehicle the warranty department lied to me about what was in my warranty when it came time us the warranty they wanted me to pay alot my wife started crying the owner talked to me and said he wants her leave happy he told us to just pay $141 and the warranty department paid there part we went there to get the canister purge valve fix because the check engine light was on fire stone said they fixed it and the check engine light came back on for the same problem we never had a chance to drive it after the repair because I had to turn in my plates. As soon as I paid my dmv fee and drove the car the check engine light came back on and now they are giving us a hard time saying they have to do another diagnostic to make sure that its the same problem which it is. As soon as the check engine light came on I went straight to auto zone they scan the car in the code came up as canister purge valve so they didn't repair the problem properly.all I want is for them to fix my car fire stone is the ************* to ever touch the car that's a brand new car never had any issues they keep giving me appointments but never do anything having us wait hours then tell us they can't do nothing today we have to reschedule so can you please help us out on this manner thank you.Initial Complaint

On June 23, 2025, I visited Firestone Complete Auto Care at ************************************, for the $9.99 A/C Performance Check advertised on their website. I paid $10.69 including tax.The technician informed me verbally that the A/C compressor needed replacement and presented me with a $2,331 estimate. However, they refused to provide a written technical diagnostic or breakdown of the issue. When I asked for the report I expected based on the performance check, the staff told me they dont do that and were dismissive and rude. This is unacceptable. The service was advertised as a performance check, which implies a professional inspection and report not just a verbal comment and a high repair estimate. I need this report to verify the problem and to seek a second opinion.I am requesting:1. A full written diagnostic report of the A/C check.OR 2. A refund of the $9.99 service charge.Attached are copies of my invoice and proof of the advertised offer.Thank you.Initial Complaint

I scheduled a service appointment with Firestone Complete Auto Care store # ***** via their online portal at *************************************** on 6/16/25. I received a confirmation on reservation #********* on 6/18/25 via email that my appointment was set for 6/19/35 at 12:00 p.m. HST (see attachments uploaded). In the reservation, the services from the online portal requested were: *************************** Wheel Alignment, ************ Change, Brake Fluid Exchange and Tire Rotation. On 6/19/25, I received another reminder email at 11:00 a.m. that my 12:00 p.m. appointment was approaching, and the services on the reservation were listed again: *************************** Wheel Alignment, ************ Change, Brake Fluid Exchange and Tire Rotation (see attachments). I arrived at the store at 11:45 a.m. and when I gave my name and phone number, I was told that my appointment was cancelled. I informed the counter technician that I was emailed 45 minutes earlier to show up, and I followed the instructions to be early to turn over my car to them. I was informed that my appointment was cancelled because their shop does not perform *************************** I pointed to the very large services menu behind him that it offers ***************************** I got a stupid look and the technician said they do not have the technician or tools to perform this service. I asked who cancelled my appointment, and he would not specify who did, but he said my appointment was cancelled and I should have received an email. I pointed my phone emails to him and I only had the two reminders, including the one 45 minutes earlier to remind me to be at the shop a few minutes before my 12:00 p.m. appointment, which includes ****************************** No apology, no explanation on why he could not have picked up the phone to call me about cancelling my appointment. Nothing, just a blank stare with an open mouth. This is false advertising and rotten service.
