Transaction occurred on 1/24/25. Money spent: $225.65. Business was supposed to ***** the oil in the vehicle and basic maintenance (check fluids, etc.), patch an air leak in a tire. Dispute: Company failed to fill oil after removing the old oil, leaving no oil for the engine to operate. That resulted in a "blown engine" due to lack of oil. Did not repair flat tire in front that I asked them to repair. Tire is still flat but they sold me a new tire and put it on the wrong side of vehicle. Company took vehicle to ***** after confirming that they failed to put oil back into the vehicle motor. ***** said engine was damaged by their negligence and needed to be replaced. They took it to another auto mechanic ("Bucks") for a 2nd opinion for failed to tell them they neglected to put oil in the vehicle. ****** said damage wasn't caused by an oil changed - but he didn't know they had failed to add oil to the engine after the oil change so ****** lacked critical knowledge about the problem. I have been left with no working vehicle for 6 months and I am a single mother.

They gave me a quote of several items that needed to be fixed including pictures stating I shouldnt drive to ******* because my brakes are going to go out at any moment. I went to the the ****** ***** dealership to get a second opinion and nothing was wrong with my vehicle. Just want them to pay for the extra cost because they made a false quote trying to scare me into getting it fixedimmediately.

I had an appointment made by ***** at the Tires Plus ********* location for 12:45 p.m. for a pre-purchase vehicle inspection. I got there at 12:35 p.m. however, the vehicle did not get inspected until 2:45 p.m. The reason for the delay was "we have a sale going on and are swamped." Why make an appointment if you can't honor it? The vehicle inspection was done poorly as the technician/manager **** did not catch grease leaking out of the right cv axle, left and right tie rods. They found a nail in rear right tire and brake fluid was dirty. These were addressed. Tire wear noted on inspection report which was not printed for review. I purchased vehicle based on these findings. Drove it home which I'd 1.5 hours hours away. Called them the next day for clarification on tire wear. They recommended an allignment. Not recommended during inspection. Took vehicle to local Firestone, they recommended replacing all 4 tires and allignment. Not satisfied with this diagnosis. They claimed to have alligned the tires on vehicle while we discussed tires. Left facility. Went to a 3rd place that I have used often. They did q complimentary full inspection found grease leaking heavily out right cv axle and right tie rod. Also a slow leak our if left tie rod. Tires checked out fine allignment was never done by Firestone! This place took care of these items and allignment. Total bill $951.10. Called Bridgestone customer service and filed a compliant # *******. Got a call from **** he apologized with no resolution. Area Manager to call in 2 business days. Did not call. ***** a week calling customer service. Finally a response from Mr. *** in H.R. on 6-13-25 will make decision on 6-16-25. Got a call from a private number (******* ******** area manager) by this time case escalated to division manager. No call from a regional or division manager. Mr. ******** apologized no resolution! Why weren't these items caught during vehicle inspection?

On July 19th I took my car to the Firestone location because I had noticed something leaking under my car the day before. The garage looked at my car and told me I had an oil leak and needed to replace the oil pan gasket. I paid $674.66 for this. The next day the car was still leaking from the same location. Also they way overfilled my engine with oil which is terrible for the engine. I took the car back to them and they said I had a power steering leak that would cost $1200 to fix. I didnt trust them so I took it somewhere else. The mechanic at the other place I took it to told me there was no power steering leak. There was just an issue with the ** which was an $80 fix. After getting this done, the car has been fine again. Also this mechanic told me that he has been a mechanic for 30 years and has never seen the kind of car I have with an oil pan gasket leak and he thought the Firestone scammed me.

In February 2025 an oil change was done and I was informed I had a slow oil leak. On April 21st I brought my car into Firestone for hesitation when accelerating. I asked if they could repair the oil leak and resolve the hesitation issue. The front desk person informed me that the oil leak would resolve the hesitation. After I picked up my car I noticed the hesitation was still occurring. I called Firestone back and they told me the technician was not working and bring it back the next day. I brought it back to Firestone and dropped it off the next day. Later that day, I received a phone call from Firestone that they couldnt fix the hesitation. On June 13th I took my car to Dodge on ********************************************** to fix the hesitation. My Service Advisor was *****. Dodge informed me that the replacement job on the oil cooler and oil oil filter housing was sloppy. They couldnt tell if the leak was still occurring. ***** had to clean up the residual oil that Firestone left and continue if there were anymore leaks.

Autumn Althen63 Pershing RdWindsor Locks, CT 06096(860) ****************************** 23, 2025To Whom It May Concern,I am writing to formally file a complaint against Firestone Complete Auto Care regarding recent service performed on my vehicle, which has resulted in serious mechanical issues and financial loss.On June 16, 2025, I brought my ****** Outback to Firestone Complete Auto Care for a radiator and thermostat replacement. At the time of service, the vehicle was not overheating. I was charged approximately $1,500 for the work performed. However, the very next day, June 17, 2025, my vehicle began overheating and smoking. I immediately returned to Firestone, and after further inspection, the staff could not determine the exact issue. I was later told they suspected a blown head gasket, a serious and costly problem which was not present before their service.I believe this issue was either caused or exacerbated by the repairs Firestone performed, or a result of negligence during the process. I entrusted my vehicle to Firestone in good faith, and now I am left with a car that is unsafe to drive and possibly irreparable without substantial cost.Given the circumstances, I am requesting a full refund of the $1,500 I paid, or a replacement vehicle of equal value. It is unreasonable that I should bear the burden of these costs for a problem that occurred immediately after their service.I respectfully ask that the Better Business Bureau review this matter and assist in resolving it. I am prepared to provide any documentation needed, including receipts, service records, and photos of the damage.Thank you for your attention to this serious matter.Sincerely,****** ******

Visited establishment mid June to have a new set of tires put in my vehicle. The next morning the driver's side tire was flat. I returned to have them access the situation at which time I was told the wheel itself was cracked. I asked if that had been the case prior to the new wheels and was told no if they had seen a cracked wheel they would not have placed the new tire. I was told I would have assistance in obtaining a new wheel and having the tire recounted. They just needed to speak with the regional manager. I later received a call stating there was nothing they could do. At this time I have had to spend $250 getting a new wheel and $100 or more in portable compressors while I wait for my parts to come in. I am unsure at this time if I will also need another tire due to damage. It already cost over $700 for the 4 new tires I originally went in for. This place is a rip off and damages your vehicle with no remorse.

I dropped the car off on Thursday afternoon on 03/20. They started working on it on 03/21. There was an additional part that they were going to replace was identified that Friday afternoon. I went up to the store to look at an oil leak with the technician(There was no damage to my door when I dropped off the car or when I went up there that Friday to see the leak!). They could not get the part needed, so I went to **** and got the part needed for the oil leak. Again, I returned to the store and walked around my vehicle with the tech. The manager saw us doing this as well since he was out in the shop also. They ended up needing to keep it till late Saturday night (I received a phone call at 7:36pm saying it was ready). They ended up deciding that they were not able to fix/replace the part from which the oil leak was coming from. I told them I'd pick it up Sunday morning. When my wife and I went to pick up the car on Sunday, it was parked right up front next to the sidewalk and not in a spot which we both found to be odd. The driver side was facing the building and the sidewalk. As we walked up to the vehicle and over to the driver side, we both IMMEDIATELY noticed the damage to the driver side door. I was checking to make sure that the tires were rotated as requested. I immediately went inside and asked ****, the service manager, to come outside to look at the door and the damage to it. I showed **** the fresh new dent and how it cracked the paint. He could tell it was new damage due to the crack in the paint and how clean and clear it was. He just shook his head.... He took a few pictures (as did I) and he sent them to his store manager, *******. **** told me that ******* would reach out to me on Monday regarding the damage. Per their images the damage was documented Saturday night. I didn't even make it out of the parking lot because the car had an erratic idle and in turn, caused the check engine light to come on. My claim was cancelled and no contact was made.

On May 2, 2025, Firestone allegedly flushed the coolant in my 2019 ****** Altima. On May 30, 2025, the heating gauge on my vehicle started fluctuating; I paid Firestone $273.95 for a replacement thermostat, the part allegedly was changed on June 3, 2025. The heating gauge started fluctuating 2 weeks later. I was then told the problem was the radiator fan. The problem still wasn't fixed after the services done by Firestone. I brought the vehicle to another mechanic for a second opinion and found out there was air in the line from not bleeding it when the coolant was flushed. The mechanic bled the line and added freon to my vehicle and now it works perfectly fine. I honestly feel like the mechanic at Firestone did not know what the issue was with my car and caused me to waste bad money and I should be issued a refund in addition to an apology.I have three detailed receipts which reflect a total payment of $566.79 to Firestone Complete Auto Care.
