I parked at the *********** in *********** on November 30th 2024 at 11:58 a.m. Special event parking was $40. I was handed a ticket upon entering the garage and told to scan the ** code to pay. There were no signs posted or anything on the website that stated that parking was only for a limited number of hours. I got back to my car at 11:27 p.m. to notice I was being charged $84 for parking. This is a ridiculous amount of money to pay for less than 12 hours of parking! Now they're trying to charge me $105.25 to include a late fee.

I was erroneously charged on December 2, 2024 for a parking fee from November 4, 2023. I was attending a company sponsored event on November 4, 2023. The parking of all attendees was paid for by the company sponsoring the event. Metropolis had my credit card and license on file on December 2, 2024 and charged me for the parking fee on November 4, 2023 even though this fee had been paid by teh company - this is double charging. I was on phone with customer service for 41 minutes and provided invoice number for the bulk company charge and they did not help and continue to charge my credit card.

Business relies upon license plate scanning cameras to check visitors in and out. The lot I parked in had 1 hour of free parking, and I stayed in the lot for 45 minutes. It scanned my entry, but failed to scan my exit and I received a charge two days later with notice that their systems registered me being parked there for 48 hours. Luckily, it charged me a minimum amount, but my parking should have been free by their promise. I sent them proof that I was parked in a different lot they run later that same day to show them that I obviously was not parked there for 48 hours, but they said that they could not offer a refund because it was a "valid charge." Business should make a statement that their scanners do not always work to make sure others make sure they are automatically checked out.

I parked in ********* on 11/15/2024 and paid $16.45 by credit card. First, the company did not have any prices on display and by the time you parked, scanned the ** code, and decided to leave you would've been charged anyway. Then after paying for parking I got an invoice for $100! An unbelieveably excessive fine. It was $50 for the "invoice amount", $25 for "unpaid parking", and an extra $25 if ot paid within 30 days of the date of parking. One, this seems like usury. Two, I don't want this company in ********* with deceitful and predatory business practices like this. Even if this was a legit fine, meaning I hadn't paid, it's an excessive amount and there is hardly any information on the website.

I am rejecting this response because: Metropolis acquired Preimum Parking in ********* in 2022, did it not? It seems you are making it difficult to contact you and hiding behind ***** companies to avoid responding to complaints and issues that are nationalwide problems, per news articles I have read in ********* about your company specfiically. Regardless, I will happily open a complaint against "Premium Parking" and continue to follow up on this. I hope you get many more bad reviews.

Im at my house all day star day (take out and delivery orders to prove this) and Im being charged for parking downtown when Im nowhere near downtown! This has happened many times this past year and Ive never bothered to ask for a refund. This past Saturday I was home and had time, so I decided to reach out and let them know to stop charging my card as Im currently at my house and my car is parked in my garage! I gave them my license plate so they could check the mistake! They not only tell me its not my car that is downtown but another car that has never been associated with me! Its been 3 days of back and forth of them asking me to provide documentation that proves that the car isnt mine! How do you prove a negative??? Ive asked the representative Fergie,(who doesnt seem to read or comprehend my messages) what exactly they need me to provide, what document I would need to provide to prove this negative, and if my car registration that shows that the car they keep charging me for is not mine would suffice and she keeps asking me for documents proving that the car is not mine! On top of that, she tells me that the car was added to my account in 2022: I did not live here in 2022 and I have leases that prove that! I need you to delete whatever account you have associated my card, I no longer want to use you guys ever! And I want my money refunded asap! I will also be contacting my bank for a charge back and will leave negative reviews where ever possible! This has been a waste of 3 days, dealing with repo used incompetence and a company that according to these reviews and complaints is known to do this more than often!!!

In ************ on 10/04/2024 I had a parking reservation for another facility. My GPS wrongly sent me to the Metropolis facility. I pulled in and parked. When I exited on foot I realized the mistake and returned to my car and exited. I was in the Metropolis facility a total of 16 minutes. I never received a bill other than the bill containing the exorbitant late fee. I have no problem paying the original $5.00 fare but the $55.25 penalty is unacceptable. When I went to the Metropolis web site to dispute but it wouldn't accept my submission.

I travelled to *********, Tennessee on 8/9/24 and rented a car from Budget. I parked at the ********** (located on *****************) for about 10 minutes on 8/9/24 and paid the parking fee using the ** code on the post in the lot. I again parked at the ********** for about 30 minutes on 8/11,/24 and once again paid the parking fee using the ** code on the post in the lot. I travelled home from *********, Tennessee later in the day on 8/11/24.On 9/23/24 I was shocked to receive a Vehicle Violation Notice from Budget in the amount of $91.81 ($61.81 from Metropolis plus a $30 handling fee from Budget) for parking on 8/9/24. I was in disbelief since I clearly remember paying both days that I parked and because the parking fees had already hit my credit card, proving that I already paid.I called Budget and was informed that they already paid the Violation Amount on my behalf directly to Metropolis to avoid incurring late fees and had already billed my credit card on file for the full amount. I explained how I had paid the parking fee at the time I parked at the **********. They informed me that there was nothing they could do and suggested that I contact Metropolis, explain the situation and request a refund to Budget and Proof of Dismissal. Once I receive the Proof of Dismissal from Metropolis, I could send Budget a copy and they would credit me the full amount.Six days later on 9/29/24 I received a second Vehicle Violation Notice from Budget in the amount of $93.99 ($63.99 from Metropolis plus a $30 handling fee from Budget) for parking on 8/11/24.On 10/4/24, I called Metropolis and spoke with *********. I explained the situation and she opened up a Violations Dispute. She said that she was not authorized to submit a refund to Budget, but was confident that it would be resolved. After spending over 2 weeks communicating via email with the Violations ************* (email trail file too large to include below), there has been no resolution.
