They are price-gouging parking. After multiple attempts, the app was not working and I could not pay because their unique code was not sent to me. They charged me a $125 parking ticket for less than an hour. You file a dispute and they **** it complete. You have no way of speaking to a human.

Metropolis parking is charging me $44.10 saying I parked in a garage in ********* on June 16th from 11.34-4:43 I never parked in a **************** this day as I was at work all day. I did park at a **************** on June 15th and My charges were suppose to be $8+tax. Im getting zero help from the company/customer service. They are stealing money from people. It's unacceptable and they need to be stopped. This is going to cause over draft issues with my bank due to them doing this. I want restitution from them to cover all the extra charges they are causing due to their ineptitude

To Whom It May ********* am writing to file a complaint about the predatory practices of Metropolis, the company that handles parking at my apartment complex as well as Parking Authority LLC, the booting company used by metropolis to immobilize vehicles at my apartment complex. . My vehicle was recently booted for being allegedly unregistered, despite displaying a valid entry sticker. If there was a tag discrepancy, the company should have contacted me or checked the window sticker before booting. They will nickel and dime you to pay the fines even if they are incorrectly issued all to get money from you. I pay nearly $200 monthly for parking, and I expect better service. Improper booting has caused significant disruption and safety concerns. During the last incident, several vehicles were improperly booted, and one resident even threw a bottle at a boot company employee out of frustration. This situation is unacceptable, especially given the high cost of living here. There needs to be a better system for enforcing parking rules that does not involve a company with such aggressive and dangerous practices. Thank you for your attention to this matter.Sincerely,************

This complaint concerns the parking lot by 24Hr Fitness in *************. I was charged surprise fees thanks to Metropolis' convoluted QR-code-based parking system. On 6/6/24 and 6/10/24, I drove my Vespa to the gym, where I was promised 2 hours of free parking with validation. To get this validation, I scanned a QR code with my phone and was assured that I could then "just drive away," per Metropolis' signs and the gym clerk. Both times, I spent less than an hour at the gym. However, when I tried to leave, the gate refused to openlikely because my Vespa is too light to trigger it. A sign suggested scanning another QR code to open the gate, but this was tricky while on a scooter, and the reception was poor. Following the "drive away" advice, I found a gap and slipped my Vespa through. Later, I discovered that Metropolis' records falsely showed me as not having exited the structure. One visit logged me at 41 hr 52 min, the other at 48 hr 14 min. Clearly, I wasnt camping out in the parking lot. Despite the promise of free parking with validation, I was charged $2.99 per visit ($5.98 total). Metropolis seems to be milking their faulty system, collecting unfair and undisclosed fees. When I contacted customer support, I received a canned response saying they dont offer refunds. Their signage should clearly state all fees. If they cant maintain attendants, they should refund customers for their malfunctioning system instead of quietly racking up hidden charges. I request a refund of the $5.98 in undisclosed fees.

Metropolis Parking is incorrectly issuing charges for their lots in downtown *********. I received a text message about parking at ************* on 6/14/24 that got my attention as I am not currently in *********. Upon investigation there have been at least 7 unauthorized charges on my account over the last 12+ months for cars with other license plates. I have been aware of issues others have had with this company but this is unacceptable and there is no clear path to resolution. I have submitted the issue to the company and am in touch with my credit card company to now dispute these charges. That said, it seems to be persistent in nature and this needs to be addressed by the city and BBB.

My husband parked at the parking garage at ******************************** on April 30th 2024. He rarely goes downtown and was unaware of QR code digital parking. He looked for a parking attendant and seeing no one, he proceeded to go get his drivers license renewed. He was told he needed an additional document so he went back home and returned to the same parking garage and still unaware if he needed to pay. A month later we received a parking violation notice stating that he did not pay a $12.50 parking fee and we would be fined a $140.50 parking violation fee. I promptly paid the total fee and proceeded to email the company explaining the mistake and asking if they would refund the violation fee since it was a misunderstanding. They adamantly refused. I then asked if they could at least refund half of it because the two incidents were so close together. They still adamantly refuse. I have never dealt with a business with such callous business practices and their fines are exorbitant. I will run a mile to avoid this business in the future.

I parked in Metropolis Parking lot in ********* for $40 or so per day. They have you put in the days you are parking. Arrived Sunday after 3:00 PM.I was being a good customer. Come to get my vehicle Tuesday at 11:00 am and the company issued a "parking ticket" from Metropolis. They apparently issued two such tickets in less than 24 hours, charging me over $100 each. Total joke, wasn't trying to get a day free. Certainly don't think they should be charging 5 times the amount it would cost for parking that day. Called and spoke to a manager and she said there is nothing she could do to help.

To whom it may concern,I am disputing 2 parking violations from Metropolis received from parking garage located at ***************************************Violation#*********** on date 4/3/24 =$84.25 Violation#*********** on date 3/26/24=$95.25 I have communicated with Metropolis (person ****************) via email as no phone number is found for them.I explained that I am an Insurance Adjuster who inspected 2 units at this location (Unit#**** Owner *********************) (Unit# **** Owner ********************) When I scheduled these inspections with the home owner I also inquired of where to park. I was told by Unit#**** Owner ********************* that guest parking was on the 3rd floor. Therefore I inquired and I followed instructions but still received a parking violation.Metropolis replied asking if I could verify this claim, I then provided the unit#s and names, I also provided the Building General Managers Name: ******************* and her phone# ************. These 2 inspection dates can also be verified with the front desk as they checked me in.Metropolis responded that they would lower the violation charges but apparently did not verify my service provided to this building. They continue to send notice of parking violation bills to my home address.Violation#*********** =$84.25 was lowered to $19.25 Violation#*********** =$95.25 was lowered to $30.25 I do not believe that these two parking violations are justified as I did inquire of where to park and followed instructions. I also provided Metropolis the information they requested to verify my services. I am requesting these two bills be deleted reflecting a $0 balance Thank you *********************************

This business is trying to charge my credit card for services I have not used, ie, parking at a facility in ************** that I have never been to.
