On Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023, I visited a friend who lives at the **** ******* Nashville.
I valet parked and received a valet ticket.
I went to **** in the lobby and had a late lunch before my friend joined me for drinks.
When I left, I had my ticket validated at the hostess stand and went to the valet. With validation, the charge was $18.
The valet brought my car around, I paid the valet in cash, plus tip, and went home.
A few weeks later, I received a letter stating "...you recently parked at a Metropolis-powered parking facility and left without paying the amount due."
I logged on to the Metropolis payment site and explained all of the above.
Since then, "Regieland C" with Metropolis has emailed me repeatedly, insisting that I provide proof that I paid.
I have explained repeatedly that I could not have gotten my keys and vehicle back without paying. This is a valet lot. I could not have parked there or retrieved my vehicle or gotten my keys back without paying. My keys and vehicle are proof of payment of my visit.
If a Metropolis or **** ******* employee failed to record this transaction properly, or worse, pocketed the money that I paid, that is not my fault.
I paid my debt in full at the time my vehicle was delivered. I do not owe anyone anything. This claim against me has been brought in bad faith. I expect it to be dropped immediately.

Being charged a "fee" for parking when I did not park in the garage.
Filed multiple disputes about it (******, ****** ) and keep being told that they can "discount" the fee by $50.
      1. I DID NOT PARK IN THE GARAGE – I DROVE THROUGH IT TO LOOK FOR A PARKING SPOT. I ENETERED AND LEFT WITHIN 12 MINUTES WHICH WAS THE TIME IT TOOK ME TO DETERMINE THERE WAS NOT A SPOT AVAILABLE AND WAIT IN LINE TO EXIT THE GARAGE.
      2. THE ATTENDENT LET ME OUT AFTER I DROVE AROUND AND COULD NOT FIND A SPOT
They are issuing a fine FOR DRIVING THROUGH A GARAGE - NOT PARKING OR TAKING UP A PARKING SPACE.
This company is awful and has been called out in the NEWS for this scam activity of charging people for driving in/out of lots.
DO NOT PARK HERE - THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS. THIS IS NOT A LEGITAMATE BUISNESS - THEY DO NOT ANSWER PHONE CALLS AND REFUSE TO READ EMAILS.

Metropolis Parking in Houston, TX is horrible. Several times, I’ve scanned into a parking lot and was able to exit and between a month I received a ticket payment for 3 and 4 times the amount that the regular parking price was. Today I receive notification of a license plate that doesn’t belong to me with a phone number that isn’t mine. I can’t call a person to speak to ever because there is no phone number and the number in google doesn’t belong to metropolis parking. The gentlemen I spoke with said he doesn’t know how their number is tied to metropolis parking. Unacceptable and a real rip off.

This is the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I have been trying to get in contact with someone about my “violation” and it seems I’m communicating with a robot. Terrible service. Your fees are abusive. DONT PARK HERE.

      Hi *****,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I'm sorry to hear there was confusion regarding the necessity to pay for parking at Laurel Lot and Pine Street Garage. Both of these locations contain ample signage that indicate how to sign up for Metropolis, and pay for your visit. We recommend creating an account when you arrive at the facility to ensure your parking visit is paid for.

They are absolutely scammers. They tried to charge me $70 because they claim I did not pay $6 for parking. An outrageous markup for one hour of parking in a garage that was not clearly marked and did not have a pay box or an arm showing that payment was needed to park in the garage. Be ware. They own many garages in Nashville!
They will gladly give you a coupon for 50% off next time you park with them as they try to rip you off with the 1200% markup on a $6 charge. I don't think so. Never again will I park in any garage they own.

A few months ago, I parked at a garage in Nashville where I had a parking pass and to enter the facility, there was an attendant that scanned the parking pass and allows cars to enter. At the time I was parking, there is not way to get into the facility without a permit. About a month later, a parking ticket arrives at my home for $100 stating I had no permit and didn't get a pass to park there. So, I tried calling to explain my position but disputes can only be handled via email. So, I emailed and explained that I had a parking pass and they asked me to send it to them. The link however, had expired and they said there was nothing they could do without the pass and then said that if I had disputed the issue while I was there they could do something but since I left, nothing could be done. I explained there was no dispute while I was there so I didn't need to call. I then asked in multiple email messages to speak with someone via phone to which they did not even reply. When they did respond, most of the time the replies were generic and not helpful.
They then said they would drop the ticket to $50 since it was my first offense. I asked again to discuss via phone with no response.
I was able to track down the link to the expired pass and they did not respond for 9 days. Then I reached out to see if they received the info I sent and they asked me to send it again since they couldn't open it for some reason. When I did, they replied and told me as a "one-time courtesy" they accepted my dispute and the ticket will be dropped. I then replied that it isn't a courtesy since I did nothing wrong. They replied again stating I entered an incorrect license plate when I was parked there and insinuated it was my fault.
So, there you have it. This entire interaction took over 6 weeks and I was not able to discuss via phone. If you have the option, make sure you do not park in one of their locations. They have bad service & don't care about what is right.

I'm only giving 1 star because I can't give them a ZERO! This company has stated that the only reason they will lower my fee is if I sign up for their services. When I entered their parking garage both enter and exit gates were open, that is an indication their is NO fee being charged to parked. I got a violation notice charging $70.25 for a fee. (Total due $76.25) I was parked there for 1 hour and 8 minutes, there were NO pay boxes, and the gates were up, and it was a Saturday. The normal parking fee was $6.00, I disputed the ticket and they lowered it to $50.00, I advised them they did not address the fact that the gates were up and that I will pay the $6.00 if they send me a link, because they do not accept checks and the payment link does not let you change the price. Then they sent me another email lowering the fee to $15.00 IF I sign up with their services!! I emailed back and said I will pay the $6.00 when you send me the link! Because I will NEVER use their parking services again. I have not heard back from company. Each response I send to them I mention the fact that the gates were up and they have never responded to that statement.

      Hi ***,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I'm sorry to hear there was confusion surrounding the necessity to pay for parking at Gulch Crossing Garage. We provide ample signage at our locations that instruct parkers how to sign up for Metropolis and pay for their parking visit. You are correct, this facility does not have gates that stop parkers from exiting. Once our members sign up for Metropolis with a license plate and method of payment, they can drive in and out without having to stop at a pay machine on their way in or out. While we do not have gates at our exits, we do have signage that reminds parkers one last time to be sure they paid for their visit using the QR code provided.

Parked and paid for 4 hours at 5:31 pm on 5/6. An employee of Premier was in the parking lot, and saw me park AND pay. He ticketed me at 5:35 pm for non-payment. I have the receipt as proof WITH A TIMESTAMP that I had paid at 5:35 pm. I don’t know what kind of scam you people think you’re running, but having employees in the lot attempting to catch that window between parking and payment is incredibly unethical. You should be ashamed. I have filed a dispute with the company and expect this ticket to be forgiven in full. If not, I will seek legal action.

      Good Morning,
Could you please email me with the response for the question below @ **********************.
Did you pay at the meter or through the Metropolis site?
I would be more than happy to look into this for you.
The error that can happen is the system not updating if the payment processed the moment you received the violation.
      Thank you

On 3/25/23, we attempted to park in the Metropolis/Premier Technologies parking garage located at 211 Commerce St. Nashville, TN. We followed the "Scan to park" signage directions using an Iphone and a ******* phone and was unable to download the app. We also attempted to use the web address listed on the directions to pay for the parking. Again, did not work. We tried inside and outside the building. The parking attendent could not explain why the app didn't work. (Side note: The attendent was outside the parking garage using his tablet device twice). We received a parking violation for $106.25. We attempted to pay for the parking for 25 minutes and never left the facade of the building. After multiple emails to Metropolis/Premier Tech. and responses from them, they STILL will not retract the citation even though their system failed to work properly. On 4/28/23, I filed a dispute with the company and they reduced it to $50. I paid the reduced amount simply because this company WILL NOT be allowed to affect my credit score by turning it over to collections. It is hard to tell how many others have been charged due to their system not working. I have tried to call their published phone number and the automated system said stay on the line to speak with a representative. Nope. Sends you in a pre-recorded loop no matter what option you select. Through research, this company has had complaints against them (October 2022) on multiple occasions and *********** * did a follow up. This is nothing but a scam to con people out of money. They need to take responsibility for their technical issues.
