I recently parked at a garage in Nashville and scanned the barcode from the wall for payment. I followed the instructions and submitted my payment and contact information. Imagine my surprise to get a ticket in the mail for $78.25 when my parking was only $8, the rest was a fine for non payment. They did not process the payment and instead of contacting me they waited a couple of weeks and sent me a ticket. I filed an appeal through a link in the letter and they said since it was my first offense they would knock it down to $50. I would say park at the risk of being subjected to false charges, I will never use this facility again or recommend it. You have no way to prove that you entered your information and they can charge you as they wish.

Went shopping on 14th of January 2023. Would have been glad to pay for parking but the signs were misleading that your credit card would be billed when you exited the parking garage. Received a parking ticket for $76.25 of which $6.00 was the unpaid parking fare. I’ve filed a dispute with Metropolis Payments that I will be glad to pay my parking fare but not the ticket fine. They lowered the ticket fine to $50. I have inquired if this is their typical business practice and have not received a response since. I will not pay this ticket until more action is taken.

Can you leave a zero stars? Metropolis payments high tech system failed to operate on a particular day and now I am charged with a fine for not paying for parking. I have an established account where I was charged properly on 2 occasions prior to this incident and then system did not open gate on this date even after following all directions offered by Metropolis on the instructional signs. In fact we called the number provided at the gate and they stated they see the the account and it is active and opened the gate. This garage is at the Women's Hospital of Texas in Houston. Now, I received a bill and fine from Metropolis payments for that date. There is no phone number for dispute "conveniently not available" and only email. Have submitted the facts via email and have been denied with statement that denial is final.
Also a visitor on the same day has been billed twice including on a date where they were not even in the lot.
This sound like fraud to anyone? I have contacted the Women's Hospital of Texas for a meeting with administration because this impacts their satisfaction reviews.
Is there a class action lawsuit initiated on this issue? If not is there an attorney interested in initiating?

This company lures customers into receiving parking violations. I went to use their garage. The entry gate was up. The machine said no tickets. I still tried to get one anyway, just in case. When I went to leave, I still had no ticket and the exit gate was up. And there was no attendant. So, I figured the parking was free. I later received a letter regarding a parking violation for failing to pay $6 for my half hour parking in their garage. I explained the situation to their customer support but they refused to remove the fine. They insisted that there were clear instructions at the entry gate. No, there were not. There was an open gate, no tickets available from the ticket machine, and nothing about parking fees . It seemed that parking was free on Saturday.

Went to dinner at *** on 12th. Would have been glad to pay for parking but the signs were misleading that you would receive a bill. Received a parking ticket for $74.25 of which $4.00 was the unpaid parking fare. I’ve filed a dispute with Metropolis Payments that I will be glad to pay my parking fare but not the ticket fine. This is unacceptable about crooked. Will not be using Premier/Metropolis parking lots ever again!! They are scamming left and right and there’s zero customer service!!

This company's is a parking garage service and seems to have a business model of charging customers as many additional parking fines as possible. I view their service as deceptive, and fraudulent. Try to avoid their parking lots and garages as much as possible. Premier or Metropolis

This business is crooked. I parked in the lot with no attendant and the kiosk did not work. I don't use the scanner because of problems with their app and leakage of my data. After 1 1/2 hours I was charged $64 for a violation of non payment. Employees there are immature and attempt to play semantics with you. I was happy to pay a reasonable fee but no cooperation. Poor poor business

Good Morning, If there are any issues with our parking meter/app, please give us a call to make us aware and move to another lot. If you do not pay to park on any lot there will be a violation issued.

      Thank you

Wow! It seems SO MANY people here have shared the same experience I have had. Everyone wonders WHY we HAVE to give them 1 star.
I'm just going to paste ******* review from 12/2 (w/ a few edits) because my experience is EXACTLY the same. These guys are TERRIBLE.
Terrible experience with this company. I parked at their lot in the Gulch (Nashville) in late November and spent at least 15m in front of the QR code sign and it would not accept my payment. This is a scam in my view and see multiple complaints on this site as well. I was given a $76.25 fine after all of this and was offered a $50 settlement....which is ridiculous. I offered $25 and they rejected it; noting $50 is the only offer. Screw them.
I recommend anyone NOT to park at any McKinley / Metropolis based lots. This looks like a deliberate tactic as I read other comments on the BBB site. Metropolis payments/mckinley payments should be ashamed.....I too would give them ZERO stars if possible. ***** *
