Metropolis provides 2 hour free parking at a company I had a meeting with. When I left, it was still 20min before the 2 hours were over and I still got charged. I have a time stamp from entering and I had called someone on my way home as I pulled onto Charlotte Pike. I have the time stamp from that call right when I left. They charged hoping I didn't know the time I left.

Another 1 star review for this horrible company. Parking validation QR code kept coming back with an error. I went to the attendant at the garage, and Metropolis checked me out and charged me before I left the lot, and before I could get help. Their customer service is completely unreasonable. 100% fraud of a company.

After the first 3 hours, your next option for extending time is 7 hours. This is utterly ridiculous. It's software - they can absolutely give more options for extending time. They do this on purpose however to make a killing. $50 to park for just a few hours. All that wasted time I paid for. After reaching out to support and asking for a refund, it was denied. What a crooked, greedy company.

Absolutely HORRIBLE company I was charged for 3 monthly Parking subscriptions all in 1 day... I only have 1 vehicle I of course attempted to contact someone for resolution to no avail you will NEVER speak with a live agent only back and forth emails 37 to be exact I have asked for a supervisor to contact me a number of times as well and of course "still waiting for that call" anyhow I contacted my financial institution they have cancelled my card and reissued a new one reimbursed me for the unauthorized charges and will deal with them directly... Hopefully they will have better luck than I did... GOOD LUCK ??

Metropolis kept sending me invalid code numbers whenever I scanned the QR, so I was never able to pay the $10 for parking. Didn't have time to move the car, so I left it. Got a $35 fine to pay on top of the original $10. Argued my case with Metropolis. They "kindly" knocked my fine down to $25. Gee, that's big of ya.
I'll park on the street next time. I'd rather pay a ticket to the City than to these crooks.

Terrible service. A prime example of how AI tech should not be used. Their sole focus on cutting costs (by eliminating human operators) has led to a significant decline in service quality.
I've experienced three thefts in my vehicles in less than a year since they took over garage services in my Jersey City condo building. Despite these incidents, they seem unconcerned, claiming they're not liable for thefts.
Moreover, the garage gates malfunction frequently, and their remote service is slow to respond, especially on weekends. This often leaves residents trapped inside the garage for extended periods.
I strongly advise avoiding this company.

Metropolis seems to shamelessly make money off of exorbitant charges for their controlled lots. If the practice of using AI and license plate scanning cameras placed around the perimeters of their lots to track the coming and going of your vehicle isn't already off-putting enough, they have been known to be consistently impossible to work with from a customer service standpoint.
After I was guaranteed validated parking for an event I was working, I submitted proof of my validation to their customer service and requested that the $50 charge they'd placed on my card be refunded. They flatly refused a refund of any amount and proceeded to tell me that though I provided a legitimate validation, they cannot be held at fault "for their app's failure to scan the code."
For a company that supposedly prides themselves on their Cutting Edge Technology, it sure seems to fail them considerably. But perhaps since this failure costs only the customer, they don't mind overlooking it.

I valeted my car at my daughter's condo in Miami. When I picked up the car, it had been damaged. I filed a complaint at the time of pick up. I was told they would review the "tapes". It has been over a year, and I have gotten nothing but the run around. We are out $500 just in our insurance deductible to fix the damage. This company is dishonest and scam!

I accidentally parked at the wrong location, realized after about 5 minutes and left. Requested a refund on my $10/ 4 hour minimum. Immediately denied. The lot said it was monitored 24/7 so shouldn’t they have proof I came and went lol. Their customer service is a literal joke.

ZERO STARS. This company makes their app so confusing and deceptive in order to charge people for an entire day of parking in a place where it is just stupid that you would EVER need to park there for an entire day, and it is the only option that they give you. Charged 26 dollars for an entire day of parking--which actually isn't a bad price, but I was literally at the place I was going to for no more than 30 minutes and had to pay this ridiculous price. Customer service is worthless and basically just a roboto responding with generic issues. This business is criminal and should be shut down immediately. If you see their parking lots, throw your trash out in them and just leave. I've rather park my car in a tree than ever give this business another dime of my money.
