As a "valued" Tesla customer I had the opportunity to pre-order a new tesla to coincide with my current lease end. I spoke to the Tesla rep confirming that I was promised that by pre-ordering a new car with Tesla and being a current Tesla lease holder that the transition process would be seamless. Then I was told that due to production issues and delivery dates could not be guaranteed to come before the lease end, that I should extend my lease. I was then told that Tesla would adjust the order production date to coincide with my new lease end date which did not happen. I immediately reached out to Tesla to understand what had happened, and was basically told I would get a delivery date and would have 3 days to pick it up or lose it and my deposit. I then waited on hold for over an hour to speak to someone at Tesla to figure out what to do, the rep said that I could bring in my current leased car to my new car delivery appointment and I would be credited for the days left on that month lease end. I then got my delivery date options and confirmed, I called the Tesla dealership to confirm everything that was discussed and was told that it was all set up. I went to my delivery appointment, the service rep had no idea about my lease drop off, there was no one there to do the inspection with me. He told me I had to sign all the paperwork before I could do anything else. At this point my pre-payment on my new car had already been deducted before I had even arrived so I had no choice but to take ownership of the new car. Now I have a huge final payment for the lease wear and tear which I find hard to believe on a car with less than 15K miles, no accidents and garaged, and there has been no credit applied for the early turn in and cannot get anyone from Tesla to respond. I was bullied into this process and perpetually misled and lied to, I have emails confirming all the promises that were made and am disgusted with how Tesla has not lived up to what was agreed upon.

This is a review for the solar division of Tesla as I can't find a separate entry for that part of the company. As it happens, I do have a Tesla Model 3, which I've been very happy with. The price that Tesla offered was great and the installation went smoothly, everything else has been a nightmare. No communications from my project advisor during the initial design phase, had to call Tesla numerous times to ask questions. Once installed, it took Tesla four times over seven months to file the application to the utility company correctly. Once utility approval was granted, found out that there was an issue with the system. It's now been four months with several visits from Tesla and they've been unable to fix it. I've had the panels on my roof for over a year now and they've never fully worked. I started a ticket with Tesla's resolution **** only for them to find out the approved utility application had incorrect kW amount, with very little help otherwise so far.

I was really excited to sign up for the annual premium connectivity subscription that Tesla rolled out last year in an effort to save a little money. At the time, I owned a Model 3 and was waiting on my new Model Y to arrive. It took about 9 or 10 months to get my new Model Y at which point I sold my Model 3. I had only had the annual premium connectivity subscription for about 3 months. I assumed - no biggie, I'm sure Tesla will just automatically transfer the subscription to my new *************** that didn't happen so then I figured, I should be able to go into the app and transfer it myself. Nope, that didn't work either. Upon calling Tesla, I was informed that premium connectivity is "non-transferrable". What this means is ... even if you paid for a year and have time left on that subscription (I had 9 months left on mine), you lose that money if you buy a new Tesla because they won't transfer it to the new Tesla. Finding this out was pretty infuriating, but what was even more infuriating was finding out that the NEW owner of my Model 3 also doesn't get the benefit of the remaining 9 months of premium connectivity that I paid for because, when the Tesla transfers ownership, the premium connectivity is cancelled! So, in my case Tesla is literally pocketing $80 and providing no product in return to me OR the new owner of the car I sold. This is highway robbery. To think that this billionaire CEO is ripping people off in this way is really sickening. To top it off, this is my 3rd Tesla. I've sworn by this car over the years, but now with this 3rd purchase the vehicle just isn't worth it anymore with so many other EV's hitting the market. I paid 90k for this car and it doesn't have center console organizers (that used to come standard) or Homelink (that used to come standard) or carpet for the frunk (that used to come standard). This will definitely be my last Tesla.

I own a 2020 Tesla Model X and my car just turned 3 years old on Nov 15th, I visited my local Tesla maintenance shop to complain about the gaskets around my butterfly doors that are deteriorating significantly. Tesla mentioned that the deterioration is normal wear and tear. Which I whole heartedly disagree with. I have owners many cars during my life span, and none have the gaskets deteriorated this early in age. They provided me an estimate of $2,300 while acknowledging that they know of this issue and there is an article online speaking of how they are trying to use better gasket material to improve quality. So Tesla what you are telling me is that you know this is a common issue, but you still want me to pay $2,300 to fix the fact that you failed to utilize quality materials? Do not waste your money on Tesla! Their quality control and quality assurance is a ****, F-, if you want to be in the shop getting your Tesla fixed then this is the vehicle for you!

After calling over 5 times holding for over 1 hour I got a call back from *** who was rude and short on the phone he said he was not my adjuster and the only reason why he is calling is to give me a rent car. He made me feel mishandled and that he did not care to help !! his voicemail is full all the time when I called tesla insurance to file a complaint I spoke with ***** I asked for a manager she said she was allowed to disclose.. Really ?? I have still not gotten any help I would have never selected this insurance company if I knew how was going to be treated, no call, no email nothing. Feels like a nightmare. Two days after taking delivery of my Model Y long range there were issues with the stability control system, traction control system, regenerative braking, and the autopilot. All these were disabled. The customer service was non-existent. We were told to just book a service appointment which was 4 days out. When I took the car to service they do not have a loaner. After spending more than $60,000 on a car I ended up with no car to drive. They did give me $100/day Uber credit. But that's not very helpful when I have to drive kids around to different activities. Multiple messages sent to the customer service inquiring the status of the repair went unanswered. It is like the whole place is operated by robots. The customer service is the worst it can possibly be. It's unfathomable especially given how expensive their cars are. I have had *** and Lexus and the service is night and day. Had one of their cars broke after two days you'd be getting a loaner delivered to you! The car itself, when it's working, is great... If you are buying one you just hope you get a good one.

I signed a lease agreement with Tesla/Sola City 1/9/2017 and agreed to lease the solar panels for 20 years. I wanted to do an early payout then purchase the panels or switch over to option to purchase. The lease agreement is 22 pages long which is lengthy for any ******, thus I missed the part that informed me that I would be leasing the panels for LIFE. I asked how you can simply lock someone into a lifetime contract and all I was told was read my contract! Even if I sell my home, if the new owner does not want to accept responsibility for the panels, I am still liable for that payment. This has got to be illegal; I don't know of any company that can lock you into a lifetime lease. I would like someone to explore this and let me know if a lifetime lease that automatically renews after 20 years for 10-year intervals is legal. Do I have any recourse?

Two days after we picked up our 2019 Tesla Model 3, we got it inspected and was informed of a noise coming from the front end. Immediately after, we placed a service request to have it fixed. After placing the request, two more service actions were addedcheck tire tread and rotate tires. Then, as our appointment was a month out, another service was added because our windshield wiper fluid was running out. Although we only had to pay $65 for the tire rotation, the fact we had to do any of this after just purchasing this vehiclenot to mention driving off the lot with it only 67% chargedwith the amount of money we spent, its just unacceptable. Weve purchased several used vehicles in our lives, and never have we had an experience like this before. My husband drives for Uber, and the noise the car made only grew louder over the month we waited to have it fixed. He had to warn every customer that entered our vehicle of the noise. It was embarrassing to say the least. On top of that, it took them 3 months to send us the money for our trade-in when they said it would take **** weeks. After ****************************************************************************************** 7 business days. When it still didnt arrive, they told me that it looks like it has been processed and to please allow 7 business days to receive the check again. To be honest, the whole experience has put a sour taste in our mouths for wanting to make any further purchases through Tesla or recommending Tesla to anyone looking to purchase an electric vehicle. Considering how much we paidand for a used vehicle at thatwe expected to receive the quality experience we would have with any other car dealer at the very least. So disappointed.

Tesla is not professional when they are hiring. I have been contacted by several recruiters. After a couple conversations via email, they just forget to response. This is very unprofessional. And why would you contact someone and just leave them hanging. Not okay to mess with people's live like this. Get a hold of yourself.
