ACTION SHOULD BE TAKEN AGAINST THIS COMPANY.. LOOK AT THESE REVIEWS!Door to door salesman was pushy and would not stop until he got my okay to do a service. Was told I was getting a trial service at a reduced rate to try them out and compare against my current pest control guys (rambo). We were busy outside at the time and declined multiple times stating that we already had a pest control company that assists us and we are happy with. Continued to offer different deals until I said fine just do it. Had me sign to "authorize" doing the service. Come to find out I was tricked into signing a 12 month contract. Figured it would be easy to just cancel so I made an account on their online portal to find THERE WAS NO WAY TO CANCEL. Figured I would just call in and let them know. They stated they had my signature on the 12 month contract and that I should read things before I sign. I let them know I was not explained any of this and that I couldn't believe this had happened. After multiple times being on hold they told me they weren't going to help in any way and I'd have to pay out the remainder (300 something dollars) to cancel. I told them I would get the BBB and attorney General involved and they decided to be "nice" and remove the months I had already paid from the total (yes read that again) so I paid 170 something to cancel. All in all, the one time service i was essentially relentlessly bugged into approving cost me ******. Within 2 weeks following following the service, all 4 of our dogs got sick or stung by bees, and were taken to the vet. This was at 100-250.00 per vet visit, so you do the math there. Never had this issue with my other pest control company who i use regularly. This company should not be in business. I should have been refunded no questions asked judging by how many reviews like this have came through. They knew what they were doing not explaining what I had signed and this should be illegal.

1 starTechnician came out one time on October 4, 2023. My ***** problem is minimal but he didnt spray inside any cabinets nor in closets. Only where I told him Id seen roaches not even all bedrooms. Only 2. So last week I called and said I was still seeing one or two here and there, a technician can on November 2, and determined they were German and now wants $250. Like I said my problem is minimal. I agreed to $49 per month. I asked to cancel this contract of only a 1 time application. This is a set up be careful!!!Review fromPP C

Do not use them. They are the absolute worse. I wanted a pest control company to spray cause I have a daycare in my home. They barely spray the front yard. They don't even go to my back yard unless I open the gate for them. Both of my back gates are unlocked. The whole reason for hiring them was so my daycare kids wouldn't get bit. I have had kids get bit cause they didn't bother to spray my backyard. I tried to cancel my contract and they wanted to charge me to do that. Do not use Alta Pest Control....they are a worthless company that will just steal your money and not ********** for you.Alta Pest Control

If I could give 0 stars I would! Do notI repeat do not use this company for pest control needs. They are so crooked and shady. The door to door salesmen are super pushy and will make lots of claims, that end up not be true at all. They will lock you into a 12 month contract, but will only come out quarterly and spray your house, all the while charging over $100 a month for services. When I called to terminate l, they gave the run around, transferred me 3 times and still never canceled my agreement. I got a phone call from a saleman bullying me repeatedly to keep my contract and basically telling me I was stuck with them for 12 months. I cannot stand those bullying tactics, and will never ever do business with them again!!! EVER!!!Alta Pest Control

1 starThe sale person told me that when I sign up they would only come out to spray my yard front and back. She said they would spray until October and resume spraying in APril. For the months they don't spray I wouldn't have a bill. Then when the guys would come to spray they and would not spray around my house, deck or backyard. **** would not wipe down the spider webs. My neighbors would complain to me that when the employee would come out to my house he would stay for five minutes spraying the ditch area in the front yard. I called the office and said I want the employee to visit my home when I was present so I could see what he does. The guy called and said he would be there at 5 pm I ran to the store one street away from my home and when I returned he came and left within five minutes, I called the company and complained and they told me I have to pay $80.00 a month even during the fall winter months and the person that signed me up lied to me. I told them that is false advertisement and I want to cancel. When they refused to cancel I removed my credit card and told them I will not be a customer of theirs and no longer pay for services not rendered to me. Alta pest control have employees that are not doing there job, they don't clean the spider webs around your house that you pay for, didn;t spray my whole front yard or the back yard. **** is the worst ever and I would not ever, ever work with them again So now they are sending me a bill $444. 1 starTerrible customer service and high pressure sales. ********************* suckered ** into a 12 month contract. After constantly saying no were not interested, he continued pressuring us . We made a deal that we try Alta Pest control for two treatments and if we dont like it and want to get out of the contract, we can. Called Alta last week after our second treatment, and was told I would be charged $300 for a early cancellation fee. Explained to the lady that we had an agreement with salesman ***** that we can cancel early. I was told I need to stay in the contract for the remainder 8 months. Dont know how ********************* can sleep at night knowing that hes s******* over hard working people. Avoid him and Alta pest Control at all cost. 3 starsAfter alot of consideration, I submit The following review regarding my experience with Alta Pest Control; ******* in custermer service, maintained his composture under fire. I didn't know until today that I indeed have a contract. ******* did assure me that any tech will not spray for bugs and other pest while it's raining!! ******* removed fees and explained how ******************* customers. **** will have to get verbal authorization from me before any service is provided. I understand how and type of service needed. Ideally, my contract would have been forgiven. I recind my previous review of '1' to '3'. Thank you, *******, for saving my contract! 1 starThey are the worst. They schedule whenever they feel like it. I went months without service and then they decided to start my service back up and sent me and email the *** BEFORE they were to come out. I have responded to their email to cancel, which has not been a problem in the past, but this time they decided I needed to cal or they were going to come out anyway, even if I did not authorize it.So they did and now expect me to pay for services I did not agree to. Not only that but I have two cameras around my home. In watching the recordings I see them doing absolutely nothing other than pretending to clean webs around my back porch camera. 1 star**************** is sub par. The door to door sales kid explains one thing to you when the contract states different. They caught me at a rushed time and I wish I would have done my research before I signed up. He made it sound like I need to hit the quota of $410.00 before I could cancel, so when I went to cancel I still was instructed to pay the $410 on top of the monthly services. There're a joke of a company. C+ rating is being generous in my mind. It must be miserable working for an out fit such as this with 54 out of 63 reviews 1 star. Definably should have looked into them sooner. Shame on me. Happy to pay the early cancelation fee not to deal with them anymore. They don't do much on the monthly visits either If you cant tell, not a satisfied customer.
