  Worst company I have dealt with. I got *** i7 and I wanted to install a *** charger. However they guy the have sent said that I have to purchase Tesla chargers since I have 2 EVs. They just want to charge more. Again worst company you never work with.

  I love my new car, and look forward to getting years of use out of it, but based on my experience with their subcontractor, Qmerit, I will never knowingly buy another GM product; this was my first and will be my last.Qmerit has classified my install as 'Custom', but refuses to explain why; I've reviewed all the criteria necessary for the job to meet 'standard' install with a Qmerit customer Service rep; he could not explain why it was classified as 'Custom', nor could he explain who classified it as such; I have a copy of Qmerit's paperwork sent to a local contractor, specifying the job as 'Custom'. 200 amp service, house built in 1997, unfinished basement, no HOA, outlet to be mounted on house about 30' from the circuit panel; the hardest part, I guess, will be drilling a hole through the rim joist and cedar siding (should add about 2-3 minutes to the job)I've gotten two estimates from contractors that would result in over $1600.00 out of pocket cost to me on top of Qmerit's $1000.00.I've costed it out and figure I can do the job myself for around $600.00 in materials (Breaker, conduit, wire, box and outlet); another $125 in permit and inspection.Less than it would cost me to file for arbitration.Essentially, Qmerit can just refuse my job; thumb their nose at me, and know there's nothing I can do about it without it costing me more money than benefits I would recoup I'm dumbfounded Chevrolet would partner with an outfit like this, but, as I said, never dealt with GM before; will never do so again.

We are sorry to hear that you feel your EV charger installation was misclassified and that our team has not provided a sufficient explanation as to why your installation does not meet the requirements for a standard installation.
  
  After reviewing your home EV charger installation project and our record of communications, we were able to confirm that you have a custom non-standard installation project because your electrical panel has no physical space for the new breakers.

  You should have  received 2 custom quotes from different Qmerit EV charger installation companies, and our record of communications does highlight that this should have been explained as to why, however, we sincerely apologize if you feel that this explanation was lacking or insufficient.
  
  Additionally, the **************** Manager has reached out to further explain why this project does not qualify for a standard installation, per the ** program requirements.

  Installation of my ************ Up charging station was a snap thanks to the Qmerit concierge! Now I know first hand why the You Tube State of Charge program expresses so much confidence in Qmerit. They are truly a first class service provider. Their recommended electrician was absolutely excellent!

  It's a scam. Everything other people are saying here is true. Qmerit's business model is to not respond to customers and if you do manage to talk to a representative, they'll massively over quote and give a ridiculously overinflated price for an install. The ***** salesman I bought my Bolt from ended up flat out admitting that there's absolutely no way he'd ever use Qmerit personally after I went back and asked how I'm supposed to get a charger installed. Ignore whatever the "Qmeterit Response" is below, it's just more lies.

We understand that your quote was higher than you had hoped for and note that the reason for the higher cost is due to the job's complexity, which included the installation of a *************** System and wiring through a finished area to the garage. Your certified installer clarified the further breakdown of the $7,952.00 for installation and an additional $1,675.00 for the permit, but we apologize if you feel the explanation you received was inadequate. We would be more than happy to re-review this with you at ******************************************* Per our last communication with you on 12/13, where you decided to cancel the project, we had not received any mention of this type of dissatisfaction outside of an expression that the cost was unexpected, and are very sorry to hear that you feel so strongly about this situation. We understand that EV charger installation can come at a higher expense for homes where additional electrical infrastructure is required to safely support the installation of a Level 2 EV charger, and while we are very sorry to hear that this created frustration for you, our pricing model is competitive and in-line with the level of experience, quality, and craftsmanship our electrical contractors bring to every installation, and is inclusive of the commercial-grade materials we use to ensure all Qmerit installations are safely installed and designed to last.   Any respectable car company should stop using this service! This is a scam to line up somebody's pockets at the expenses of customers. Their supposedly contracted company gave me a quote for installing an EV charger that was two (!!!) times higher than 2 local electrical companies (also licensed, insured and bonded) and on top of that refused to provide me with an explanation where the huge difference in price is coming from. ***** (neither the company nor the dealership) were of huge help either, as they simply shrug and re-state that Qmerit is our only option for the supposedly free up to ******* USD installation. However, Qmerit always finds a way to quote times more than the ******* USD allowed! Deceitful and dishonest practice. And, btw, as a business owner myself I can tell you that they are PAYING for the A+ BBB rating. It costs about 500 USD per year with the BBB. Run away from this service as fast as you can!

  Cadillac EV charger hook up. Qmerit did a good job and follow thru. First tech company they sent out to give a quote, I told them it was to expensive. They sent another company out that was on par for the services that were getting done. Everything with the install was great! The local company was very professional, on time , and did a good job.
