      I went online to purchase tickets to the ***** string concert I wanted to get the best seats possible for my friend's birthday the zone seating suggests that they are preferred seating and it is also $100 more per ticket when I received the tickets they are general admission The same as any others I called the company and said that I was misled by the zone and that I would still purchase the tickets but not at the exaggerated cost of $200 a ticket to a general admission concert. Why on earth would I spend an extra $100 per ticket if they are not better seats'? I offered to still buy the tickets but I felt that I was misled with the zone seating and that I needed that to be refunded. She said take it up with the bank and asked if I knew what general admission was which of course I do... She was not helpful in any way except telling me that there was only general admission as did the venue when my friend called. We have no ticket numbers and the man said there is no zone seating!!!

      On Sunday June 15, 2021 I was contacted by some old friends and we agreed to go to a professional baseball game. I went online and found this website Ticketsales.com. The site informed me that seats were filling up fast and implied I needed to act quickly. Then they presented me with only two choices, which appeared as if these were the only choices left. The face value on the Tickets was $74 each ($222 total) for three tickets, They charged me $522.21 to my credit card. I told the other fellas that I had the tickets and they said from that total it looked like a scam. I checked stubhub and there were indeed plenty of seats with 3 together for that event. I believe this company carefully mislead me into thinking there were limited seats and I should by them right away with any further checking. I would have been willing to pay this price if their misleading information were true, but in fact, they had deceived me into thinking that was my only choice.

      I purchased 4 tickets in section 206 to ***********************, *************************, and the **** rodeo at ********************** on 3/2/23. The event was scheduled for 7/29/23. It was listed as a single event on the Ticketsales.com website and on the confirmation email I received after completing the transaction. The transaction number was ******** and I paid $429.18. Ticketsales.com has grossly misrepresented what they had to offer and are gouging customers for a mistake they made when listing inventory. In brief, Ticketsales.com now claims that the event was not supposed to include *********************** nor *************************, and that I had purchased **** rodeo tickets only. This is absolutely not what was represented on the original listing, nor the email confirmation I received. Ticketsales.com asked if I wanted to cancel the transaction and I said yes, since 4 **** tickets are listed on the Frontier Days website for $164. It did not make sense to overpay by nearly $265. The problem is that Ticketsales.com is now listing *********************** and ************************* tickets in section 211 for $2500/ticket, with the standing room only offering at $229/ticket. At best, this is a 113% increase of about $487 total. However, if I purchase in a similar section it becomes a ****% increase, or $9571 in total! Ticketsales.com would not honor the tickets they originally sold, but only refunded my purchase price and offered $92 in store credit to make up for the error. Mistakes happen, and I can understand offering a credit to make things right. However, the credit isn't remotely enough to make me whole, nor to afford the event they have relisted. Ultimately, increasing prices by ****% is unethical, unfair, and completely unconscionable. I am writing to request that Ticketsales.com honor the original listing, or at least offer a comparable set of tickets. I am also requesting that the BBB downgrade Ticketsales.com reputation due to behavior that negatively impacts the American consumer.

To this end, were committed to providing the best possible customer service.

      As a secondary marketplace, TicketSales.com is not affiliated with the event or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office; rather, we act as an intermediary between fans and ticket holders. With respect to our customer's purchase for the **** Championship Rodeo, the event was incorrectly listed at the time of purchase. The error was quickly addressed and rectified as soon as it was brought to our attention, and we regret any inconvenience incurred to our customer. In our committed efforts to provide exceptional customer service, we have provided a full refund to our customer's original form of payment and an additional store credit to be used towards a future purchase.

      It is worth noting that our terms state, " [...] we may cancel and refund your tickets for any reason and at any time." As it presently stands, we have provided an appropriate resolution for this matter and cannot provide further compensation. As such, we consider the matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns pertaining to their order, we encourage them to contact our customer service department for further assistance.

      I am rejecting this response because: 

      I sent the attached message to Ticketsales.com after receiving an automated email. After I sent it, there was no written reply, and I received a voice message from a customer service representative asking me to call back. Despite the fact that I had requested a written response, I did call the number provided, and spoke to someone representing Ticketsales.com on March 16th, 2023. I asked the representative to please have their company send me a written response to my complaint, preferably by email, but indicated that regular mail would also work. He indicated that he would pass on the message to the appropriate unit. There was never any further response.

      I purchased tickets for a band playing at a local venue directly from the venue website. I didn't really think about it much at the time but somehow my transaction became affliated with ticktsales.com, which I just thought was normal. I was billed double what I had ever paid for a ticket to this venue, and remember a bit of sticker shock but again just thought that tickets had gone up. I attended the show last night where tickets at the door were 50% of what I paid, and the sales manager told me the price was the same online. I have no idea how I ended up dealing with this company but they have a way of hijacking transactions. This company is fraudulent. Beware.

      We were led to believe this was the actual venue. Their search engine optimization is clearly targeted to make you think this. We paid $665 for 3 tickets which cost only $103 each at the real website. Like others have said, they will not deliver the tickets until a few days before the event. The order email I do have is very vague on what I will receive. Listen, this is a ridiculous scam, and everyone who has fallen victim to it should get litigious. I'm not going to monkey around with their customer service chatbots. I want my money back so I can purchase the real tickets and have a nice evening with my family.

      I made a purchase today for three tickets for a show Simply the Best- The ********************* Story in *******, ******. The advertised price was $144/ticket. I entered my credit card number and was surprised to see that I have been charged $564.70 when 3 x $144 equals $432. I called the vendor ticketsales.com less than 30 minutes after making the purchase. I spoke with the supervisor ******** who said that additional fees for processing etc. were shown after the credit card number was entered into the webpage by the purchaser, before the purchase was made. I said this was not the case, she said it was and that no adjustment or refund would be made. I then went back to the website and entered purchase information for another ticket to the same event in ****** You can see in the screenshot that there is nothing there showing the amount for additional charges. I then entered information for a purchase in the US (see 2nd screenshot);. for the US venue this additional charge information does appear on the right. I then called again on the same day and spoke with ****** in customer service. I said I had documentation supporting my experience and that they may have a computer glitch where the correct info is not displayed for some venues (possibly those outside of the US'). I told her how she could go to their website to verify this. She said I should be able to see the full purchase price before making the purchase (as I did not). However their computers would not let her access the website to see what I have described and that no refund or adjustment would be made. She said she would notify her manager but a manager would not contact me or make any refund. Please note I have NOT clicked on the link for the tickets that was emailed to me today as I am disputing their charging more than the advertised price.

      February 15, 2023$848.00False Advertising: Ticketsales.com is selling Premium tickets, but, the buyer receives.cheaper seats, not in the area where I purchased my tickets.I bought (2) PIT Tickets to ********** concert in Houston, Tx. (PIT Tickets are up front, right next to the stage). The tickets that Ticketsales.com sent me are 31 Rows back.I was lied to and they stole my hard-earned money.I want a full refund.

      On Sunday April 11th 2021, I purchased (2) ticket for $491.99 (total) to see ******************* perform at *********************** for Wednesday June 16th 2021. Ticketsales.com sent me an email on July 6th stating the concert has been postponed until Tuesday June 14th 2022 @ 8pm. This is unacceptable, I demand a full refund as I do not want to do business with this company again. I called their customer service and email and can not get anyone to respond. They are a scam. My order number is ******** and I demand a full refund to my credit card.

      I purchased tickets for Glass Animals and they charged my credit card more than what the total given to me was for the tickets. Also i did not realize that the tickets would not be transferred until 3 days before the concert. Very disappointed with the lack of information and overcharge for tickets and would like a full refund.

It should be noted that TicketSales.com is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate ticketsinstead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Directly on our website it states, TicketSales.com is a trusted secondary marketplace. Prices set by sellers may be above or below face value.

      Once our customer selected the event they were interested in, Glass Animals, they navigated to the ticket listing page. On this page, the ticket listings  displayed the ticket price and allowed the customer to choose a ticket quantity. After the customer selected their listing, they were directed to the checkout page. Here, customers are provided a detailed order summary which shows the event information, ticket location, and price per ticket. Below this order summary, there is a disclosure indicating: We are a leading secondary marketplace. Tickets may be above or below face value. We are not affiliated with any venue. Our customer was prompted to provide an email address and was shown the ticket delivery method. Please note that a complete itemized breakdown of our customers order total was fully disclosed after selecting the available delivery method and before the customer was asked to enter any payment information.  Finally, at the bottom of the checkout screen the customer was shown our terms stating, "By clicking, Place Order, you agree to the Terms of Use including refund terms and Privacy Policy. You also acknowledge that this site is a resale marketplace and that your credit card will be charged $180.36, which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees. All prices are listed in US Dollars. All sales are final. Our customer then used the "Place Order" button to complete their purchase, at which time their order was processed.  

      During this time period, our customers were sent communication regarding the cancellation of events, and steps to take in order to receive a full refund of their order total. In this case, our customer contacted us outside of the window to receive a cash reimbursement, and instead received a store credit with a value equal to their order total plus an additional 20% value. Since issuing this resolution, our customer has made use of their store credit offer. If Ms. ***** has additional questions regarding this, we welcome her to contact our customer care team directly.
