      I am rejecting this response because: 

      I sent the attached message to Ticketsales.com after receiving an automated email. After I sent it, there was no written reply, and I received a voice message from a customer service representative asking me to call back. Despite the fact that I had requested a written response, I did call the number provided, and spoke to someone representing Ticketsales.com on March 16th, 2023. I asked the representative to please have their company send me a written response to my complaint, preferably by email, but indicated that regular mail would also work. He indicated that he would pass on the message to the appropriate unit. There was never any further response.

We are unable to accommodate their request for written response but as a courtesy have provided a refund of the service charge applied to their order. We have now thoroughly addressed this matter and consider it closed.

      I purchased tickets for a band playing at a local venue directly from the venue website. I didn't really think about it much at the time but somehow my transaction became affliated with ticktsales.com, which I just thought was normal. I was billed double what I had ever paid for a ticket to this venue, and remember a bit of sticker shock but again just thought that tickets had gone up. I attended the show last night where tickets at the door were 50% of what I paid, and the sales manager told me the price was the same online. I have no idea how I ended up dealing with this company but they have a way of hijacking transactions. This company is fraudulent. Beware.

      We were led to believe this was the actual venue. Their search engine optimization is clearly targeted to make you think this. We paid $665 for 3 tickets which cost only $103 each at the real website. Like others have said, they will not deliver the tickets until a few days before the event. The order email I do have is very vague on what I will receive. Listen, this is a ridiculous scam, and everyone who has fallen victim to it should get litigious. I'm not going to monkey around with their customer service chatbots. I want my money back so I can purchase the real tickets and have a nice evening with my family.

      I made a purchase today for three tickets for a show Simply the Best- The ********************* Story in *******, ******. The advertised price was $144/ticket. I entered my credit card number and was surprised to see that I have been charged $564.70 when 3 x $144 equals $432. I called the vendor ticketsales.com less than 30 minutes after making the purchase. I spoke with the supervisor ******** who said that additional fees for processing etc. were shown after the credit card number was entered into the webpage by the purchaser, before the purchase was made. I said this was not the case, she said it was and that no adjustment or refund would be made. I then went back to the website and entered purchase information for another ticket to the same event in ****** You can see in the screenshot that there is nothing there showing the amount for additional charges. I then entered information for a purchase in the US (see 2nd screenshot);. for the US venue this additional charge information does appear on the right. I then called again on the same day and spoke with ****** in customer service. I said I had documentation supporting my experience and that they may have a computer glitch where the correct info is not displayed for some venues (possibly those outside of the US'). I told her how she could go to their website to verify this. She said I should be able to see the full purchase price before making the purchase (as I did not). However their computers would not let her access the website to see what I have described and that no refund or adjustment would be made. She said she would notify her manager but a manager would not contact me or make any refund. Please note I have NOT clicked on the link for the tickets that was emailed to me today as I am disputing their charging more than the advertised price.

      February 15, 2023$848.00False Advertising: Ticketsales.com is selling Premium tickets, but, the buyer receives.cheaper seats, not in the area where I purchased my tickets.I bought (2) PIT Tickets to ********** concert in Houston, Tx. (PIT Tickets are up front, right next to the stage). The tickets that Ticketsales.com sent me are 31 Rows back.I was lied to and they stole my hard-earned money.I want a full refund.

      We purchased tickets to see ************************* on February 28, 2023 in ****, **. We thought we were purchasing tickets closer to the stage as they were the more expensive. The ticketsales.com website was not transparent and basically misled us. The location of tier 1 versus tier 2 was not clear on the website. Our tier 2 tickets are not near the stage, rather they are in the back of the venue. Moreover, there was a service charge on these tickets of more than $400 which we learned after being charged. We paid a total of $644.76. The next day we called ticketsales.com to cancel our purchase and were told we could not cancel. We stopped payment via our bank as Paypal took payment from our checking account, but Paypal then used our credit card. We contacted Paypal to dispute the charge, and they denied our request. Account order number: ********.

      We purchased tickets online from what we believed to be The ******************* in ******* ********. The site came up as purchase tickets for the ******************* as first choice on the search engine. Their site is misleading. They overpriced our tickets. We called when we realized we did not purchase the tickets from the ****** Center and they would not cancel are purchase or refund our money even though the request was made by ** within 24 hours of the purchase. It is illegal to do this in the ******************. Very misleading and non business trustworthy by not refunding or canceling our order as requested.

      I unknowingly paid $239.15 for tickets that have a combined face value of $60, thinking i was purchasing from the event holder and not a 3rd party scalper for an outrageous markup. Not only that, but the tickets I purchased were to a concert that was scheduled in September 2021 (but was postponed due to covid) and still as of now has no new date set.So because the show isn't considered cancelled and is still "POSTPONED" they will not refund my money even though it has been over a year and a half.There was no transparency is regards to the resell price, otherwise there is no way i would have paid so much higher than what they are actually worth. And their guarantee policy is protected by sneaky grey areas. Poor business practice all around.

      On 03/01/23 I went to a website of a concert venue and was redirected to this companies website to purchase tickets. I assumed this was the trusted ticket seller for the local venue and proceeded to pick the two lowest price tickets that "we're selling fast". They were listed at $150 a piece. Only AFTER entering my credit card information and completing the transaction was I shown a total price of $446.79. I was never shown the amount of fees being charged in "billing details". This is misleading and fraudulent. I contacted them hours the later and was only able to online chat with someone and told I cannot get a refund and to try to resell the tickets with them there is a 15% fee deducted. I never accepted the tickets from them. I would like a full refund. They are misleading. This concert has hundreds of tickets still for sale for under $70. I could have purchased from another third party for half this amount but was mislead to think they were associated with the actual venue. It appears from many other complainants this is a common problem with this company, I would like a full refund. I would like them to change their deceptive business practice and stop charging hidden exorbitant fees. My order #********

      I was contacted directly by TicketSales and issued a refund after transferring the tickets I received electronically back to them.
      I am satisfied with this resolution and encourage anyone purchasing tickets to a local venue to make sure you trust the third party seller you're directed to when purchasing and are shown ALL the pricing and added fees details prior to payment.

      Date of transaction: Sunday, March 5, 2023 Business: TicketSales.com Order# ******** I ordered two tickets for the Chicago Symphony. Tickets were advertised as $152.00 per ticket. On the side of the webpage it said subtotal: 2x$152.00. It did not give any mark-up or service charge prices. It presents that the price will be two times $152.00. I added my credit card and purchased, and the receipt came back with a charge of $399.66, about 33% service charge. I called customer service right away, and they said that they could not refund the tickets.

It should be noted that TicketSales.com is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate ticketsinstead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Directly on our website it states, TicketSales.com is a trusted secondary marketplace. Prices set by sellers may be above or below face value.  

      During our checkout process customers are presented with our terms and conditions, including the statement: To complete your order, you must agree to the sales terms and conditions and confirm that you have reviewed the Order Summary above. All prices are listed in US Dollars. All sales are final. Our customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms and the statement, I agree to the sales terms and refund policy listed above and acknowledge that this site is a resale marketplace. By clicking "Place Order", my credit card will be charged $399.66 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees. Lastly, our customer is prompted to select "Place Order", at which time their order was processed. 

      We assert that all order details and relevant terms were sufficiently displayed and agreed to when our customer placed their order. Furthermore, we can confirm that our customer received valid tickets prior to their event which occurred on 3/18/2023. As such, the customer's order was fulfilled in accordance with our Buyer Guarantee. As a courtesy, in the interest of customer service, we have provided our customer a refund of the service charge applied to their order. As it stands we consider this matter resolved. If our customer has any additional concerns relating to their order, we welcome them to contact our customer service department.
