      I went to purchase a bed set at conns in ********* and they never delivered my bed I'm still waiting for a manager to contact me from American first finace ridiculous I've offered to return the merchandise but they said no returns I really wish this never happen

      I am writing to address the distressing discovery that you have been sharing my nonpublic information with credit bureaus, resulting in inaccurate reporting on my credit profile. This violates my privacy rights under 15 USC 1681 section 602 and 15 USC 1681 Section 604 A Section 2, which mandates written consent for such actions.Your inaccurate reporting, including incorrectly labeling timely payments as late, has caused significant financial and emotional distress.       I became aware of a loan taken in my name through American First Finance that I did not apply for or sign any agreement. This was done without my knowledge and I believe it is a case of identity theft.

      On 6-1-2024 I took a call from ******* stating that someone was trying to make a purchase on my account. I followed their instructions and after a few minutes into the call they took over my phone...it went dead. I immediately went on credit ***** and put a fraud alert on my accounts. Within an hour, I received an email with a sales package for furniture from Majecstic Furniture in *********, **. I havent been to PA in 30years, and did not make this purchase. I haven't used credit for anything in 5 years. I have since checked and there is no such furniture business in *********, **. The financing company on the sales package was American First Finance, ******, **. I checked over the document and it had my correct personal info but I did notice that the financing interest rate was 269%. There is no address for American First Finance on the paperwork, which looks legitimate, but missing details. There is no account number or invoice number on the sales ticket. I went to the local ******* store and had my phone account restored. I filed a police report for identity fraud with my town police. I have checked my credit daily and on July 17, 2024 this transaction showed up on my Transunion account. I immediately froze my credit accounts with Transunion, Equifax, and Experian. I am in the process of disputing this charge with Transunion. I have since called the phone number on the sales package for American First Finance, and there is an account for this transaction in their records. These same hackers tried to open a new credit card, but were not able to because of the fraud alert that I placed on my credit bureau accounts. My complaint is that American First Finance of ******, ** prepared a fraudulent sales/credit agreement under my name and submitted it to Transunion 1.5 months after the transaction. I want this transaction removed from my credit bureau account.

      On 7/19/2024 I ordered a section sofa from a place called dream homestore ***********************************. The sofa was 1100. I fianced it through American home store they approved me for 1000. I paid the difference so 100 plus a 50 dollar delivery fee and 31 dollars to take home. The store gave me a run around I never got the furniture once I contacted American fiance to explain what's going on and I want to cancel the policy they told me they had to contact the homestore first. I want to cancel due to unprofessionlism and they won't seem to cancel even though I have the right.

      America first fianace have a 101 day pay off no interest fees. But they have been charging me interest since day one. I paid 130 before I left the store. My loan was for ******* I've paid ***** for 3 in half months, and my bill is still ******* how is that possible? Their thieves.

      Back in December of 2023, I leased a PlayStation 5 from First American Finance thinking I could make a few monthly payments and be finished paying for it quickly. I did not find out how much I would be paying for it in a total amount until sometime after I leased it.I was told up front that I could return the merchandise at any time, or that i could pay it off early at any time. Much later I learned that the payoff would be a total of payments totaling $4,096.25. There is no way Im paying that for a PlayStation 5. I have already paid $2,472.40 on the ps5.I have already paid for it twice. Today I learned that this company has many lawsuits against them for illegally overcharging pass the maximum allowed. I am not making another payment on this merchandise because I have been overcharged and I feel as though they know they are wrong. Something needs to be done about this company because this is ridiculous.

      This is a critical grievance regarding AMERICAN FIRST FINANCE in ******, **. They have supplied phony and unverifiable data on my credit record to the credit reporting agencies, they have failed to complete a real investigation, and more importantly, they have not provided any proof of the errors in which they're reporting. The precise info in dispute is AMERICAN FIRST FINANCE Account # ****************. Regardless of how often I try to correct the flaws in my credit profile, this institution continually ignores my disputes, which causes me a lot of unwanted monetary as well as mental anxiety. I want the mistaken info purged from my credit file now. All of this has caused extreme damage, not solely to my credit, but additionally to my good reputation. Please assist. Thank you so much.

      To Whom It May Concern:

      Hello and thank you for responding. However, I was certain that I had paid this account in full before actually looking at my credit report. I had never received any notification that this account still had a balance on it, nor was I informed that it was charged  off. 

      In fact, when I first saw it on my credit report, this account was initially reporting as "Open" and late 30 days, and that was the only reason that I was disputing it because I knew that all of my payments had been on time and in full. That's when I called and someone told me there was still a balance, and although I disagreed, I still went ahead and paid it so that you wouldn't report it negatively on my credit. And yet, you're doing so anyway.  I have attached a screenshot regarding this.

      I don't believe there was a balance owed (yet I gave it to you anyway). I was never late, always made my payments on time (and yet, you are scolding me anyway). I called you immediately, in good faith, while the account was still reporting as open (and yet you are rebuking me anyway). You updated the status to closed and charge-off AFTER I called to resolve the error and ended up giving you more money than I should have. 

      This is unfair and unethical business practices, and the only thing that I'm asking is that you remove the charge-off status or remove the account in its entirety so as not to cause me so much "UNDUE" harm to my credit. 

      Also, please note that American Finance claims that they have sent a Statement of accounting that includes a complete payment history but I never received such information. Without that documentation, American Finance is still unable to substantiate the accuracy of the information that is being reported regarding this account. And therefore, I demand that the above points be considered to finally resolve my case.
