      Original loan was $2410.37. To date I have paid $1432.89. American First is stating I still owe $2435.85 how is it I owe more now than I did before after paying $1432.89 I want a legit pay off amount that reflects my payments

      I purchased a refrigerator as well as a warranty from American freight on 10/12 for a total of $2085.98. I also paid ****** and ***** that day using my debit card which came out on 10/15. I have since made payment on 10/18, 10/25, 11/1, 11/8, 11/15, 11/22, 12/6, 12/13, 12/20, 12/27, 1/3, 1/10, 1-17, 1/24, 1/31, 2/7 and 2/14 of $53.81 each date totaling $914.77. I also made an extra payment on 10/21 of $178.15. The full total is ******** leaving $252.20 to pay off what I was told was a zero interest credit card. Yea the bottom of the receipt I submitted says lease to own but when I asked the salesperson at the store she said that was only if I was not paying it off in 101 business days. I called yesterday to pay off the balance and was told the payoff is $2669.47 which is more than the original cost. If I were to pay this I would be paying more than double of the amount of the refrigerator. Then when I started explaining that this is no where near accurate they tell me they have no record of me paying anything at the store. I have receipts and bank records to prove that these payments were made and they basically ignored me claiming the best they can do is get my payoff down to a lower amount and that I would have to refinance it to continue. I told them I would pay what was owed ($252.20) and that was it. They would not listen. Do not do business with this financial agency

      I had this finance of $1200 and I've been paying since late September 2024. The amount I've paid should be more than 50% of the original amount, however, American First Finance is now telling me I owe $1.092. No Sense. I made a $100 down payment and been paying $40.40 every week.

      Company it charging outrageous interest on loans and not applying payments to loan with charging 100% interest and your loan doesn't go down.

      It started in August I purchased a phone from ********, which they told me that itll be $80 added onto my bill which it was not. They went toa finance company. I never signed any papers didnt make any agreements was not told determined conditions every month they charged me 116 this is in August February And Im still paying for it.Theyre telling me is legal fees to me. This is a company thats scamming cause a company supposed to tell you their terms and conditions or have me sign lsomething. I never signed every month. I call they tell me its your last payment and it keeps going month after the month.

      Back in November of 2024 I utilized American first finance for the purchase of a used engine. Prior to the purchase a 90 day promotion was being advertised which encouraged me to purchase through American first finance . During this process there was line of miscommunication. My car was not fully repaired until January of 2025. I was under the impression that the promotion would start from the date of actually receiving the product purchased aka the used engine. The car was my means of transportation. Not having the car for months hindered my work availability. I can't process paying hundreds of dollars for a product monthly and it's not in my possession. As of 02/14/25 my current pay off is around $3,300. The resolution I'm seeking consist of getting an extension of the 90 day promotion from the date of actually receiving the fixed engine which was January 2025. Or receiving a settlement offer on this account. I never had the product yet I was expected to pay for it. that's the dilemma. Please help me reach a resolution.

      I bought a fridge with n 2023 for my new place and paid $36.66 weekly faithfully with no payment at missed. I waited till the buyout got extremely low and I paid $251.77 on 1/30/2025 and I was told my account was to be closed in good standing. my account t was reopened and they took $36.66 Friday then they took another $36.66 the next Friday. I had asked them to take my payment methods out of there computers they told me they wouldnt. I called today and had them remove my ***** t accounts from the system but they said I never paid the account off that have no record of me paying the $251.77. So I had to be mean and bully them into closing my account and taking my payment methods out of their system. Please do not do business with these people run for the hills.

      I used the company to purchase a washer and refrigerator I planned on using the early pay off option and pay more money per payment and was told that would not go toward what was owed or help the payoff they have called my phone 17 times a day everyday and after 8 and 9 at night to collect a payment when payment isn't due until the day after they start calling they also try to put payments on my card that I said no to many times and they kept saying ok we will set that up.

      I filed a previous complaint against this company due to being misinformed, and we came to a settlement, and now I received two correspondence stating that Im late, when our settlement isnt due until 02/15/2025 in the amount of $275.00 and now this is being sent. I feel like this is harassment. They were harassing me by phone and text prior to them sending correspondence, and now Im being harassed by mail. I feel like this is unacceptable when I am trying to work with them.
