      American First Finance is a complete fraud. PLEASE DO NOT do any business with these scammers. I wish i would have done more research on this awful company, you get a loan and pay on it literally every other week but it doesnt go to your loan, they literally take your money and then tell you you can pay off early for a discount which is the amount you go t the loan for. 153% interest rate is highway robbery and they should be shutdown immediately. I will never ever in life do any business with American First Finance please save yourself a headache and stay far away from this Company.

      I have applied for a loan throught a furniture store and and was approved for the amount of $1,671.28. I have made small payments of :09/12/24 - 425$10/16/24 - 135$10/16/24 - 125$11/11/24 - 155.11$11/15/24 - 507.40$12/30/24 - 100$Total: 1,447.51$They are now telling that I owe 1,047.89$ which is 399.62$ more than I owe them. Theie excuses is that I have gone above the 120 days payoff discount. I have no knowledge of that 120 days. I would like to pay the remainder of 223.77$and be done with it. Please help me resolve this issue.

      On October 4th, 2024 I made a bulk final payment of $1847.84. I received a confirmation email the same day stating " Paid in full Notice, Congratulations" American First Finance (AFF) continued to attempt to charge me stating I still owed them. I contested with my bank and provided the email and they accepted my claim and blocked AFF from charging my account, since then they have continuously charged my husbands account, who was not on the loan with me, we noticed the charge this month and spoke with our bank holding said account, they found multiple more charges and after providing our information this bank also sided with our claim and blocked AFF from charging his account, they then started charging another one of my bank accounts which was then blocked by our bank. I also contacted Credit Karma and disputed with them and they approved my dispute. However they are still billing me, racking up a bill and its affecting my other credit scores. They are now stating I owe them $718.11. I believe I have attached all the corresponding documentation and if more is needed please let me know. I would like them to resolve the debt they say I owe as I do not owe them and they are reporting to Credit bureaus affecting my credit scored.

      Ive paid off a loan that the company keeps sending me collections for damaging my credit and livelihood . Many others on the ****** reviews are experiencing the same problem! Also I have voice recordings of this incident but dont have a way to upload to the supporting documents tab provided below.

      I have reviewed the business response and accept this resolution. I do not personally want anything further from American First! However I do hope that others are being given a fair shake as I feel this company will continue to take advantage of many Americans like myself who have expressed their concerns via: ****** review . This complaint was never filed because I wanted something from it but on behalf of my fellow Americans who have experienced the same issues that I have with American First Finance in hope that these egregious tactics end today!

      Dec. 30 The taken out of my account was $76.15 without me knowing it happened. I would like to receive my money as quick as possible. I am on a fixed income. I didnt order any items through your business or the business you deal with.

      On December 9th i went on the website for American Freight Outlet that is located in *************. I applied for the fiance that they listed on the website and ordered a refrigerator. Later that day a employee from the store called me and said they canceled my order because they did not have the refrigerator. She told me they would notify the ************** which is American First Finance. I had already paid the ****** company $50.00 when I placed the order. About 2 weeks later I received an email from the ************** that my first payment would be charged on December 19th. I called the Outlet store and they said I needed to call the **************. So I called the ************** and they said they never received anything that it was canceled and they would reach out to the Outlet and get back to me. A few days later, I called the ************** and yet again was told that they had no record of it being canceled. So I merged the Outlet store onto the call with the ************** and they were told. The ************** said they needed an email and the manager at the ****** said he sent it. As of today I just tried calling the Outlet store only to find out they have gone out of business and the ************** still has not canceled this loan and they withdrew a payment of $84.71, which brings the total to $134.71 that they owe me. I keep getting emails saying my payment is past due now and no one is helping to resolve this issue. I will attach a screenshot of the account from the ********************** Freight Outlet that shows the account was canceled.
