      I purchased a sofa and bar chairs from this store, when it came I noticed immediately it appeared to be damaged. I called the store the same day and asked to speak to the sale associate that sold me the furniture several times. And each time, I was told he was busy. I explained my concerns and displeasure to the representative on the phone. And I was told there was nothing they could do about it and says there are no returns. Not only no returns, but he didnt even try to resolve my issue by replacing it with the same model.I was contacted a week later by someone I though worked in the store, and again explained my displeasure in this matter. But the caller only wanted to verify my bank information and address. Even after I explained what happened, I once again was told there was nothing that could be done.We discarded this junk furniture within 2 weeks as it was not even functional to sit on.The springs completely sunk in and the fabric tore on the under side of the sofa.I have been paying for furniture I had for 2 weeks as I threw the rubbish in the dumpster.Not only was the furniture junk, but the interest rate is ridiculous.This is unacceptable and I demand my money back.As their pending class action lawsuit states,American First Finance is an unlicensed lender that deceives consumers into receiving loans with interest rates that exceed the maximum legal limit, a new class action lawsuit alleges.

      I am not liable for the debt with AMERICAN FIRST FINANCE I. I do not have a contract with AMERICAN FIRST FINANCE I.You guys need to handle this issue. This has been going on for a long time now that I have seen my information. That's messing my Character & name up as a person.They are in violation & told me 30 days when I had fraud. A identity theft with police report I had attached as well, they are in major violation.

      I am not liable for the debt with AMER FST FIN. I do not have a contract with AMER FST ******** guys need to handle this issue. This has been going on for a long time now that I have seen my information. That's messing my Character & name up as a person. They are in violation & told me 30 days when I had fraud. A identity theft with police report I had attached as well, they are in major violation.

      I am not liable for this debt and do not have a contract with American first finance . They do not provide me with the orginial application like I asked, and are reporting inaccurate information on my credit report.

      If I could put a zero I would. I got a couch from American Freight back in April 2023. The set cost around ****. I was approved for ****. Anyways I have called once a week asking what should my payments be to have this set paid off. So when I reviewed the contract and where they get at the store is they tell oh you just pay $59.86 once a week. Well after looking that is a set up cause that puts you at 24 month payments and $6000. So I have been calling once a week to get my payments adjusted to have it paid off by the 101 days. Every-time I call I write down the date and the name of the person I talk to. So my first rep tells me that I need to adjust my payments to 194 weekly. I said that cant be right. So I waited and I called the next week the rep says you have 2 late fees and once you get caught up your payment need to be 149 weekly. After agreeing about how there shouldnt be a lay fee cause they are pulling the money out a day early anyways. So he says he will remove those. Then this past week I called again and I asked what does my weekly payment need to be she tells 170 weekly. And again there is another late fee. This place is a joke and they dont have any notes in your account. They dont know who I last talked to or what I was quoted each time. I will never deal with this company again and they need shut down. And shame on you American freight for having these scammers as a finance company. For all I care come get this couch.

      On January 12 2023 I noticed a charge on bank account for around $158.41 which I did not recognize. I did some research and found out they I believe give loans to people to buy whatever. I made sure that the charge was returned the same day as not authorized, fraud. I then called the company that night and told them it was fraud. They were not very helpful telling, I was trying to explain to them the charge had been returned as fraud and to close the account immediately. I also emailed me them, I had figured that since the charge was returned as fraud that would be the end of it. But on 4/26/23 I received notification on my credit report that I had been reported for no payment of a loan. I was finally able to figure out that it was the American First Finance company whom I had told 3 months prior that this was fraud. I again called them and was told the account was open and nothing was marked on the account as fraud, and the money was owed. I was told someone had purchased a gaming system for $3000.00 in my name, using another address and phone number. Again I told them it was fraud, I have sent them an email with a notarized identity theft form and have also disputed it on my TransUnion credit report since that was the only agency they reported me to so far. I do not have any confidence in them that they will clear my credit report, because of this my credit score dropped over 50 points, when they had been told over 90 days ago that it was fraud and they did nothing to close the account out, now this thief has had this gaming system all this time. I am so upset by this and how I have been treated, what more can be done.

      I reported to American First Finance that ****** did not to the front and back brakes that they charged me for $598.75 and they wil not make the shop give me a refund after they know that the chop commited fraud and i spoke to ****** supervisor on 4-29-23 and he did not help resolve the issue because i have 2 witness that were there with me when i went back to the shop several times and they did not fix the brakes and it was still making the same noise when I brought the car to be service at their shop and I also called them several time asking for them to give me a refund for the work they never completed the front and back brakes. Also ****** lied to the BBB and said they tried to call me when they never contacted me. The second time I took my car to them they claim they adjusted the brakes and they did something else to my car they did something to the muffler because it was making noises after they adjusted the brakes in the back. They had plenty of times to fix the brake issue and they never did and American first financial is alllow them to rip off customers and claiming they did work they did not do and at this point I want a refund and American First Financial needs to refund my moneyor credit off my account what I owe for the brakes $598.75 because they know that they are commiting fraud and they are not making the company refund me money that work was not done on my car.

      In January 11th , ***************************************************************** ******* for approximately 2503$ using American First Finance without being informed of the 137% predatory interest rate. At first, I was paying 203$ biweekly, but then moved decided its convenient to pay 460$ monthly. I have never missed a payment. However its April 29th 2023 , I go to make a payment and I see that the remaining balance of $1613 has skyrocketed to $****!!!!! At first I thought it was a case of identity theft so I went on FTC to figure out what to do. Then I tried to contact the company by phone and email and no one is responding to me. Im disgusted, traumatized and in disbelief. I need my balance to be adjusted back to my original remaining balance so I can pay this loan off and close off the account as soon as possible. Ill be out of work for a while unpaid for maternity leave and theres no way I would be making a payment of **** plus on a piece of bed and sectional I originally bought for 2300$.
