** November 2022, I received a table set. The table was damaged beyond repair when it arrived. Since November, I've been in communication with American First Finance. They finally offered me a replacement last month, which I declined. It took months to get an agreement. This bad customer service disgusts me. Not to mention that late payments for products that I was never able to sit at were recorded to my credit. I've filed numerous complaints, and the account has yet to be terminated and late payments deleted from my credit report. I intend to pursue legal action.

I am writing to file a complaint regarding the validation of a debt on my consumer credit report. Despite multiple attempts to seek proof of validation, your company has failed to provide any evidence regarding a debt that does not belong to me. Furthermore, you have furnished this alleged debt on my consumer report and failed to validate the claim pursuant to Sec. 809(b) of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.As a consumer, I have a right to privacy and protection from inaccurate reporting on my credit report. My contact states that every Friday I pay the amount of $56.60. Attached is receipts from them as well as statements from my bank showing that from 04/14/2023 -04/22/23 they have withdrawn $333 from my account which is the equivalent of almost 6 weekly payments. I have been given the run around, hung up on and told yesterday that they would remove my account information only to wake up this morning to another charge. I have been charged atrocious amounts with no resolution other than to remove my card. I do not understand how they charge me this amount let alone step outside of contract guidelines. Attached is emails from them as well as bank statements

Had an agreement with American first finance we had a contract for one weekly payment of ***** I defaulted the account was supposedly sent to collections with radius global. I started noticing that American first finance was taking from my account, after it went to collections, upwards of five payments a day. Our original contract was one weekly payment. Them taking those payments than caused me to over draft and pay overdraft fees. Causing a financial hardship due to them taking more payments than agreed on plus all the overdraft fees.

I have paid $107 bi-monthly that equals: $2,568 and when I get on the website I still owe over *****?! What the actual? My debt has been paid my friend in full. Someone needs to contact me to settle this nonsense. I want this matter marked as paid in full.

An account was opened under my name in June of 2020. No payment was ever received and the account charged off in September of 2022. This does not show on my credit reports when I view Credit Karma but apparently it shows when another company pulls my report. A representative from American First Finance advised me that no calls, email, or mail had been sent out in regards to this balance. The only correspondence they show is the two times I've called in to dispute the balance.

This formal complaint that you are reporting inaccurate and incomplete credit information. I respectfully request to be provided proof of these alleged late payments, and payment history. On 11/14/2022 I signed a loan agreement with AFF for $1639 loan . I have documentation proving AFF has not properly allocated my payments to my account as agreed upon per our contract . I have stopped payments to AFF on all accounts. I had multiple accounts in the past with AFF that I successfully paid without a issue . Then,I watch this specific account balance NOT DECREASE by even .01 cent a month for 3 months straight!!! This loan balance affects my credit. Therefore I watch these things closely . Im upset to say the least I have talked with multiple representatives who try to make me think Im not understanding the process of how a high interest loan works . I do entirely!! I understand there was a specific agreement that held both partys responsible for a smooth transaction . One party failed . It wasnt me . I made my payments . I have all the documentation to back up this complaint . Per the breach of our agreement by American First Finance I will not pay another .01 to them . I will not pay them for taking advantage of a return customer and Robbing *********************** Blindly . Madness! Thanks BBB for sticking up for us .

I have reviewed the business response and accept this resolution. They have reached out directly with customer advocacy and we have reached a mutual resolution. I appreciate the help of everyone and thank you for your time. BBB can close the complaint because I feel that American First is handling all communication with the issue very well at this point.

I have been on the phone with American First Finance for over 2 hours trying to file complaints about my account. The ****************** customer representative hung up on me. The second time I called I asked to talk to a supervisor and she was laughing and getting upset with me on the phone so I asked if I could speak to her supervisor and she said why? So she transferred me to her supervisor **** who was giving me a hard time when I tried to tell them that when I used them to Finance at American Freight at the store they told me my payments would be from 8/26/22-12/6/22. American Freight lied and tried to Scam me or American First Finance scammed me I would like someone higher up from American First Finance to give me a call. I would preferably like to have someone call me who is higher than the call-center with her and so CEO ***, someone along those lines.

Tire place stated I would be able to pay the $1,200 with American First Finance. I never knew about the terms of the contract or the interest. Initially started in September 2022. To date I have paid $1,300 but when I asked for my balance they said I owe $2,492 remaining which would be 3x ($3,700) more then my initial loan. I did not agree to these terms and I was scammed. This is highway robbery. Also when I requested for my payment history due to all the made up fees, it appears only $15 was being applied weekly to my balance even though I was making $47 weekly payments. I have paid off the $1,200 plus $100 and they are trying to scam me for the remaining made up balance. Please help and stop the company for scams. Open account needs to be removed from my credit report. I have just read reviews and apparently this company is a known scammer.
