      I should have received a notice for debt pay over a year ago and the American First Finance Inc. Company has not sent this. This document is required for me to file my ************************************************************************ size a few weeks after the end of the finance time frame. I had been prepared to pay off my balance in full upon reaching the company in 2021 and realized I was mistaken on the month the finance time frame ended. The company told me I was one month late to finish paying off my loan. Not being able to afford a 300% mark up on the remaining amount, I agreed to writing it off and including it as income on my part, with my taxes. I wish I had never done this with the company though I understand I cannot retract my decision currently. I made several calls before end of tax season 2022 to request a letter from this company so that I could file my taxes. These calls were made before and in April 2022 and then again in July and August. I provided the correct physical, mailing, and email addresses to the company yet they have not sent the necessary documents to me. I have yet to file my 2021 taxes and now we are coming up to the deadline for 2022 taxes being due, still without the required documentation. Since the beginning of 2023 I have made over 6 calls to the company without resolution. I would ALSO like this company to provide a letter showing that this debt was paid in full so that I may submit this to credit reporting agencies to take this off of my credit report.

      I am not liable for the debt with AMER FST FIN. I do not have a contract with AMER FST ******* guys need to handle this issue. This has been going on for a long time now that I have seen my information. That's messing my Character & name up as a person.They are in violation & told me 30 days when I had fraud.       I am not liable for the debt with AMER FST FIN. I do not have a contract with AMER FST ******** guys need to handle this issue. This has been going on for a long time now that I have seen my information. That's messing my Character & name up as a person. They are in violation & told me 30 days when I had fraud. A identity theft with police report I had attached as well, they are in major violation.

      On going Money paid $2018.63 in all Total Amount My account was setup for 90 day payoff. And I PAID IT ALL I was told system didn't pick it up , something like that American First Finance wants me pay for something American first finance system messed up I honored my contract and paid American First finance wants me to continue to pay more money $331.00 a mouth for I have already over paid

      I am purchasing a couch from the company and when I agreed with the contract, they changed the amount I had to pay, per week, by $10.00 (increased).I said, ok, $10..whatever.Then I called to have my payment day changed to Saturday from Friday, cause they take the money at 6 am and Im not paid till 7:30, and it was overdrafting my account.INSTEAD of doing that, they charged me twice in one week.I called for a refund and the lady said, I just wouldnt have to pay the next week, which is now and they are trying to charge me again! She said a refund would take 2 weeks and its be better to apply it to my next payment. Like a dummy I agreed.Then I said how much to pay the couch off and be done with yall and she said $1000 I only owe $850 They are some dirty crooks.I called about being double billed and the lady act like she didnt understand English.I am so sick of dealing with the imbeciles.I want to give them the couch back and be done with them.They also raised the price on my boyfriend and lil sister, who are also filing complaints.I am also filling a complaint against the store that sold me the furniture, because somebody LIED ABOUT THE ***** TO ALL 3 of US.

      I borrowed $2,788 on the promotion of interest free if paid off in 101 days. Unfortunately, I lost my job and was unable to pay within that time frame. However, to date I have repaid the entire amount borrowed and $800 additional. I have reached out twice via phone, once via email and once by mail in an attempt to settle this account. I offered to pay an additional $1,300 on top of what I have already paid and they denied my settlement offer. Saying the account balance is $10k and the least they will accept is an additional $2,800 on top of the $3,588 I have already paid. I was told my only other option was to return the merchandise (without a refund). How is that fair when I have more than paid for the merchandise?

      Since October 2022 this company has been trying to charge my husband's card for $46.64, after failing to give a correct expiration date. This morning it finally went through. I do not have an account with this company neither does my husband. I want a full refund and I want the card information blocked from being used with this company.

      My name is ***************************. I was a victim of identity theft a few years ago. After that incident, I noticed incorrect and unauthorized from AMER FST FIN with account number **************** was reported in my credit report. I already sent the dispute to Equifax, Experian, and Transunion 30 days ago. I haven't got any response.

      These people are requested licenses pictures 30 days bank statements and a picture of a debit card. I feel like that puts the customer at risk of fraud because the consumer has all of the customers info and I feel like that is not safe. All 3 documents should not be requested at one time.

      I bought furniture from them on January of 2022 (at the ******* ************ location) and my credit account was only for $800 total. I paid them religiously every week and then some (made a lot of extra payments here and there) for around 10 months (around 45 payments in 10 months of $25 each,using 3-4 different bank accounts witch I printed for proof and my records etc.) thats around $1,200 there, and Im now finding around 6+ payments on numerous accounts I was unaware of until just recently.(Thats another $150+ there) and a few months ago they put a negative balance on my credit report of around $580 as if i havent made any payments for the 1 chair I was paying them for) meanwhile they already received over $1,500 from me (on a $800 total credit) with in 1 year. And a few days ago they took $125 off two different cards of mine but the account is supposed to be in collections so how and why are they still withdrawing money from my account and is this legal? And what do I have to do to get all my overpayments back (its a lot of money not no pocket change) and get my credit fixed since its hurting my credit even after they got double their money and then some? Please help I dont know who else to ask nor what to do. Thanks. Have a great day. I have to through all my bank accounts and get a PDF of All my bank statements from 3-4 different accounts for the last 14 months then I will download the PDFs and upload them as proof of ALL my payments and I can attach my credit pdf showing their write off of $580+ on my credit background (on a account I opened in January 2022 when total account was $800 full price of recliner was $780)

      In April of 2022, I went to a pet store to look for an emotional support animal, preferably a puppy, after a diagnosis of PTSD.. The pet store customer service led me to believe I was financing a Cockershon for $3500 through American First Finance Fast forward to about 6 months later I wanted to check the balance owed on my loan. To my surprise, I had only paid a few hundred dollars on the principal balance. When I called American First Finance the person I spoke to seemed annoyed while stating You must not have read your loan contract. The person emailed me a contract I indeed had not gotten a clear understanding as I have documents stating the loan was for $3500 with payments of $243/biweekly until the loan was covered. I calculated the amount as of today and I have almost doubled the amount and at the end of the loan term I wouldve paid quadruple what the loan is. These terms were not clearly explained that I would only pay a few dollars toward the principal balance for years. Also the dog is not a Cockershon. Hes not mixed with anything as the pet store claimed. Hes a Cocker Spaniel.

      I am rejecting this response because:   I am not sure what this communication means but I had a conversation with a representative from AFF stating I could settle this debt for the amount of $500(($250 on 4/21/23 and $250 on 5/5/23) and it would be reported to the credit bureau as a Settlement . 
      On this end, I will uphold the agreement made via phone call on 4/11/23 and pay $500.
