  They American first finance, are as crooked as they come they charged me two times over for a dishwasher that's came in no box ,it was not new and they still want more money, I decree and declare, I don't owe the any more money, the need to be STOPPED..

  Wish I had seen these reviews before I bought my items. Bought a washer/dryer set in July of this year. Signed a contract for 90 days option with no buy-out fee and I called end of August to get the final total (I have been tracking out much I should owe) and now they are trying to add an early buy-out fee to the price. Asked to speak to someone else because my contract I signed states $0 buy-out fee and was told to call the Consumer Advocacy number and can't seem to get through to anyone at that number. My end date for the early buy-out is October 19th so I will be paying what I have figured I owe on the items and nothing else. Talk about some deceptive business practices when you want to add fees to a person's account after a contract has been signed!!

  Hard to ask for a supervisor when nobody answers. Called the number provided and never heard it ring, just immediately heard music like I was on hold. Stayed on the line for about 5 minutes with nobody coming onto the line before hanging up.

  Do not use this company. How does *** allow a company to charge people over 100% interest is beyond me. American Freight had a couch I liked was 2k and when I went to figure out payments they wanted 400 a month and if I didn't pay it all off within 90 days the 24 months of 400 dollars would apply. Long story short I would end up paying almost 10k for a 2k couch. This is price gouging scamming American consumers. Do not do it!!! I walked away.

  I visited this store a week ago (September 24th) and purchased a refrigerator for my new home, this part of my experience went really well. The horrible delivery and customer service that I experienced on September 28th is why I'm leaving the review. The delivery "guys" were completely incompetent, not only failing to get my refrigerator into my home but actually left a huge amount of damage to my wall in the process, and complained that I shouldn't have bought such a big fridge. The store manager was about as terrible, when I contacted him about the incident he was very flippant about the situation and had a disrespectful, sarcastic tone toward me. He supposedly filed a claim for their company insurance to address fixing the damage that his delivery staff did to my home (which I photographed and emailed to him), but I have yet to hear from anyone about making this right. They wanted me to get another fridge but I ask for a refund instead, which the manager gave me, but begrudgingly with sarcastic comments. There was never one iota of care for what happened, basically they treated me like it was my fault for what happened, and they have made no effort to fix the damage that they made to my new home. I have been completely disregarded by this company, they are grossly incompetent, disrespectful, and negligent . I have huge scraping holes in my new wall and stairway as a memory of this experience.

  Would not deliver fridge on scheduled time. Then refused to refund money. Terrible company. Do not forget you can take them to small claims court and get your money back quite easily.

  This company is a rip off. How do you charge someone 3x's what the purchase price if not paid off in ninety days. That is just a rip off. You all are scammers and you are scamming young college graduates who already don't have anything now you have them in debt on top of student loans. NEVER AGAIN WILL I PURCHASE ANYTHING YOU HAVE EVEN IF I HAVE THE CASH.

  Got a loan with this company almost a year ago for a loan of $3500 and was advised by the jewelry store to call to set my ****** day pay off and I called. Today got in touch with the company and somehow I was told that I never set a payment agreement and yet I have my phone statement clearly showing I called. Also I am now advised that I owe almost $9,000. Clearly this companies customer service is lagging. I tried explaining to ******* and all he said was that it was basically my fault

  Worst company ever! I was going to pay the last 400 I owed for the refrigerator but it was after 5pm. On the website it said I had until 11:59pm but when I went to pay it the system would not let me so now I have paid over ***** dollars on a fridge that is worth ***** and I still owe an addition ***** if this isn't price gouging I don't know what is. Also I have never missed a payment and needed help because I am low on funds. No help offered expect doubling my payment on the next due date. Horrible company! Do not go through them!!!!

  Loan sharks... please don't use this company ..I wish I never even mess with these people,. hopefully I can pay them off but they are loan sharks... you'll end up paying 3,xs the amount of the loan is you go over 90 dayse

  I purchased furniture in the amount of $1356. On the day of sale I was told that I can pay $1356 off twice a month by paying $109.07 by monthly. I was also given a warranty which was the only thing I signed that day (on an ipad). After 14 payments of $109.07 I logged into my account to check my balance and realized it is $1776. On the date of sale I did not receive a contract with information stating that I would be paying over 100% interest, in fact I did not receive a physical copy of a contract at all. I believe after signing the warranty digitally my signature was duplicated multiple times on this document. In fact I was told that the contract would be available when I log into my account. I called the company and after discussing this issue with the rep he put me on a hold a number of times and then offered me a settlement of $1100 to be paid in 30 days. He apologized for the inconvenience. I declined the offer and was escalated to a manager who apologized and offered the same settlement. After declining again and discussing this company's fraudulent nature of business I contacted my bank, did a stop payment and filed a claim & dispute with my bank. I would like to ensure that my account is canceled and nothing is posted to my credit report.
