  Wish I didn't have to give this company any stars. This finance company is a scam and they are preying on the average consumer. Went into a jewelry store and purchased a ring for 1200. Thinking it would help, we decided to "finance". A payment was supposed to have been deducted from my account biweekly until the item was payed off in April of this year. Nope, this company has added 5000 plus more dollars to the amount owed, and has extended payments until year 2023. Made a call to customer service only to have MIGUEL belittle me and become very rude. How is this even possible or legal. I didn't agree to the terms initially and by having to electronically sign, they are able to use that signature to make it look like you've agreed to this.

  I took a loan of $2,500 so far I paid $1,978.92 and some how I still owe $2,370.40 that sounds like fraud if you ask me. I highly recommend avoiding this business if any company recommends using this "loan service".

  I was reached by this awful company to get an "explanation" about why I am being charged so much and the called dropped when they were going to start exposing. I never received a call back, they not only continue to over charge me I have already paid 2,473.65 in other words I should be close to done but I guess not. Also the last payment got raised from $164.91 to $329.82 with no reasoning or warning, once again I do not recommend this company ever to anyone.

  Please be aware of this company!!!! DO NOT FINANCE ANY THING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! I bought furniture from American Freight in Sept. I was told to pay off a certain amount by January and I wouldn't accrue any fees, like an early buy out option. No one said of, the bill will be tripled if you don't. Well Jan came. I looked at my balance and the interest fees were 3x more than the actual bed set. Original bed set with mattress was about $1,500. They are saying I now owe about $7,000 due to not paying off by January. The furniture was still in the box. So of course no one wanted me to return it. They told me to call the furniture store. Furniture store said to call American First back. This is ridiculous. I told them they are scammers and this over the top interest rate has to be against the law. They are doing business like a loan shark.They are frauders. DO NOT finance any thing involving this company!!!!

  I bought a sofa and love seat. Was told 50 a month turned out they charge me 200 a month. Turns out they gave me a loan with an interest rate of 165%. The 1400 dollar couch and sofa will cost me $3600. This is a scam! Do not use this company. I will be filing a claim with the BBB.

  They owe me ******* dollars. I didnt want their scratch and dent c*** on the floor so the store ordered me a brand new in the carton lady kenmore, made and licensed by ***** by ** (10 year manufacturers warranty on compressor and condenser. ** sent the parts and American freight sent A&E service tech to repair the frigid. According to A&E s lead tech **** the service person didnt know what he was doing. After replacing the compressor he put hit vacuum pump on it to get the air out of the system then add Freon. He turned on the pump went to his truck to eat lunch. 45 minutes later he returned to my kitchen and started cussing the line from the condenser to the compressor was laying in the evaporator pan of water. Sucked the water out of the pan through the cooling coils and hydraulic ** and broke his pump., exploded compressor oil through out my kitchen had to refinish my kitchen cabinets. The refrigerator can not be fixed and not *****, American freight, or ** would reimburse me for the new fridge I had to buy as they spent 6 weeks dicking with my frig at ******* degrees in *********** ********** No sir no more ***** products not even a trash can and no more A&E ***** authorized repair men.***** still sells on line and ships intrastate and if I have my way congress will shut them down for internet and interstate fraud

  Purchased a washing machine, total cost with warranty was $1124.97. They give you 101 days to pay it off with no interest charges. I didn't pay it off within time frame. When I called to inquire about the balance I was informed that a $2000.00 leasing fee was added to the balance. It is going to cost almost $3000.00 for a washing machine, the price has almost tripled. I expected interest to be added but not not that. Leasing fee is twice as much as purchase. This is utterly out right insane.

  It appears you made a purchase with American Freight using American First Finance. Prior to completing the purchase, they provide the customer their contract electronically and the customer signs their contract with ********************** First Finance. This contract lists all payment information and terms and conditions of the contract. Upon completing the contract, the customer is provided with a copy of the contract from American First Finance to the email address they provided during their application. If there are any questions about their American First Finance account, you will need to contact American First Finance directly @ **************.

  Beware of this company. They will charge you way more than expected. I bought 2 tires for a total of $372 and was financed through this company and was supposed to be a 101 day payoff (same as cash) type finance. They setup auto pays bi weekly, which is great, it will be paid off without me forgetting. So I thought!!! Come to find out....apparently I needed to make additional payments when I thought the auto pays took care of my payments before the 101 days. So long story short...I ended up paying over $700 for my 2 tires which ended up being $350+ per tire, when I reality it was $190 a tire, How INSANE is that!! So after a few messages on chat I asked for a possible extension on my 101 days since apparently my auto pays didn't cover it. They then gave me a payoff amount and if I paid that amount the same day, my account would be successfully closed and no more payments would be automatically withdrawn from my account. Ok...DONE!!! Paid off and account was successfully closed, checked my bank account and saw my payoff amount withdrawn. I was glad it was done!! THEN, the next day i checked my bank account and I seen another auto pay withdrawn from my account. I chatted with customer service online and they told me that it was already processing before I paid the payoff....but the date it was taken out was the day after....and the payoff was taken out of my bank on the same day I paid it before the auto pay. Then customer service would never respond in my chat. So I never got a response. I honestly think that last auto pay should have never been withdrawn from my account. So people, beware and do not use this company for whatever reason, they will take your money and you will not even realize til it's too late.

  Do not use this company, they will throw your account into the negative every month then add on extra charges along with every payment. Tried repeatedly to get information and to change payment dates due to a job change but they never got anything done. Poorly trained employees, and even worse policies.
