  I purchased a brand new refrigerator from ***** Outlet late 2019.I also purchased the ***** Agreement Protection plan.In June 2022, our fridge stopped working. June 23 a technician came out to trouble shoot and decided it needed new parts and ordered some and request rescheduling an appointment when the parts arrive.Early July the parts showed up. We got canceled on the same day of the appointment 4 times !!!!Every week we wait for the scheduled appointment and we find out that our appointment got canceled and we are required to call and schedule A new appointment. We lost medicines, food, and on the top of it, we lost trust in this company !!!I am very upset as Its been almost a month and half without a fridge in the middle of summer time with small children in the house that needs medicines constantly refrigerated!Its July 30th and finally we were told that they will be sending us check in the mail For the food loss.The technicians are extremely unreliable and unprofessional!This is the last time We will shop ***** !I expect the company to make up for the inconvenience of all this process and the time we wasted on the phone lines back and forth ! Shame on this company !

  I bought a washer dryer stackable from the ********* location and the washer doesnt work and they wont let me return it or refund me the $1600 I paid them.

  In Jan of 2022, I leased/purchased a small, low quality; 3 seater couch, 2 floor model end tables, 1 floor model coffee table and insurance, totaling about $1,100 . By April of 2022, that total ballooned to almost $3,000. Total Paid from Jan 5, 2022 to July, 19 - ($1066.96)
  
  As discussed with the store manager prior to signing the contract, I contacted the store to end my lease and requested a pick-up. I was then informed that I needed to contact American First Finance directly and so I did.
  
  Since April, American First Finance has been vague with regards to the return process. When requesting an email or a link detailing the process, I am directed to contact the 800 number.
  On their website, there is no indication that in order to end the lease a customer is to donate the items to a charitable foundation and then submit documentation from that foundation.
  
  After being lied to and confused since the beginning, I found it difficult to believe that I could simply get out of this awful loan/lease by giving the furniture away to a charity. I am still confused!
  The furniture has been donated to the Salvation Army, I have submitted the proof and I am hoping I did the right thing. I have read some complaints where customers have donated the merchandise but the account remained open while American First Finance still attempts to collect.
  
  I'd like American Finance to acknowledge my return, end my contract and remove their
  entries from my credit report going back to April. This company is horrible.. How is this legal?

  I've been giving this company chance after chance for furniture to just continue to fall apart and break within a day or a month. This is ridiculous, all they wanna do is have us file claims for them to approve the claim and have us pick out new furniture that also continues to fall apart and do the same. This is our third table and only took the furniture out February of this 2022. I refuse to keep filing claims and picking out furniture for it to continue to fall apart. They refuse to do anything else and I'm just done. This has been an on going thing with this company, I don't even know how they're still in business.   This is the second complaint that I am filling to the BBB on The American Freight Furniture Company. It's been over a year since I went into the American Freight Furniture Company to speak to an employee about furniture that I did not purchase. I originally wanted to buy other furniture there that was supposed to be taken from my checking account and funds were extracted. When I called the company and asked them why, I was told that I was late. I then asked why the funds had not been taken out and that there was money in my account to cover the first payment. The representative became very difficult and told me that I was late. We started to have words and I began to know that that is some kind of scam. I hung up the phone and filed a complaint with the BBB. A representative at the BBB, stopped the harassment as I only bought a mattress there that I paid for in cash. Over a year later these charges are still on my credit report. I want this derogatory **** off of my credit report once and for all as this is bad business. They say one thing and do something else I will never do any business with them again. Please help me in this awful matter

  I ordered a Bosch stove in May of 2020. Shortly after receipt and installation, the display panel began malfunctioning. If you use the stove, the steam/heat seeps into the panel and causes functions to randomly start or error messages.Bosch wouldn't even look at the unit because it was sold through ***** Outlet (now American Freight). After hours of phone calls, American Freight would only tell me to call Bosch, insisting it was under warranty. We've been stuck with a unit that no one wants to fix and American Freight didn't stand by their product. DO NOT buy from this company. You might get a good deal but you have no recourse if things go wrong.

  I purchased a side-by-side fridge upon delivery I noticed a few holes that were hidden behind the bins in the store filled with spray foam. I went to the store and reported it immediately within two hours of delivery and was told if it doesnt hold temperature let them know. It shouldve been returned immediately. The following day I woke to refrigerator/freezer that never got cold. I contacted the company by email and they have yet to contact me back. After going back-and-forth with the store they did eventually pick up the refrigerator and refund my money. I will never purchase here again. I believe they are selling defective merchandise and are well aware of that. Buyer beware.

  There finance company are thieves. Ripping people out of there money. If you finance they most be paid off in 3 months. If not you will be paying for 4 products instead of one.. There products are ok. Just don't finance anything thru them. They also are a scratch and dent place. But the insurance you purchase thru them doesn't kick in for 30days. The want you to contact the brand of whatever you bought for a fix.

  I had an account with American First Finance in 2021 Dec, I paid them off early with no problems. I applied for another loan from then July 23 and I was approved but they had down the old account information that I no longer had. I contacted the agent and she told me she would cancel the account and for me to reapply using the updated account information, KNOWING full in well that I would be denied because of 2 applications. I called the agent back and informed her I was denied when I updated my new bank account information. The agent then told me she would approve the old application and send it to the IT team to fix the problem. Still no deposits to my bank, I've called so many times and been told so many lies I can't even keep up by so many different agents. This is a horrible horrible horrible company with so many incompetent workers. Do not do business with American first finance.
