      BBB~I NEED YOUR HELP TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE WITH THIS DATING SITE "Our Time" I want to know WHY this dating site "Our Time" Blocked me from communicating with members on their site? Right after I had rejoin their site for {3 months 09:03:2023} at the cost of {$37.49} plus I chose to add the 1 time"Boost" cost [$14.90]. Which Our Time states would bring more attention to my profile! I'm not new to this dating site but I've recently learned they don't even have a "REAL contact number" to reach them to discuss any matter's of concern and for them to address the concern within a professional manner! Also since I couldn't contact Our Time through a phone call. I emailed Our Time" several times to request information to WHY they had Blocked me from their site? Important to note BBB>Right after I had paid to rejoin their 3 months membership and equally added and paid for the "Boost"cost.My last email to Our Time"" with no response was September 28th 2023.Still there's no response from "Our Time" after my several emails to them up to this given day! This is what has led me to report them to BBB..Their unprofessional business practice, disregarding and ignoring my numerous emails. Most of all not an after thought .Our Time *Unscrupulous* manner of simply taking this senior citizen's hard earned funds and ignore my numerous emails!!! Well now, I have the direct insight of how Our Time chooses to disrespect and ignore their customers.. THEY'RE NOT A TRUST WORTHY Dating site for this senior and I NO LONGER CHOOSE TO HAVE ANY CONNECTION NOR AFFILIATION WITH "OUR TIME". Therefore, I'm requesting for BBB to seek Resolution for me with "Our Time"..I'M REQUESTING MY"FULL REFUND" for not having the use of my 3 months membership and the "BOOST"cost.       Due to privacy and security concerns, we are unable to disclose additional specifics of this decision. 

      While we understand that B may remain dissatisfied with our response, this account is not eligible to be reinstated, and will remain banned. A full refund of $37.49 for the subscription associated with this account was issued as part of this process. These funds will be returned to the original method of payment and may take **** business days to be received.

      Good Morning,

      This user's subscription was cancelled 9/14/23. Their renewal date was 9/13/23.  The OurTime Terms of Use explain "If you purchase a subscription, it will automatically renew until you cancel, in accordance with the terms disclosed to you at the time of purchase, as further described below. If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to your subscription benefits until the end of your subscription period, at which point it will expire." The Terms also state "Generally, all purchases are final and nonrefundable, and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods" However, OurTime strives to provide current and former members with a positive user experience, and has processed a one-time courtesy refund for this charge. The funds will be returned to the original method of payment and may take **** business days to be received.

      In the future, please note subscriptions that have not been cancelled prior to their renewal date will automatically renew, and the user will be charged, as explained in our Terms of Use.

      I was seriously defamed by a representative at *******.She wrote:Please know that due to our Terms of Use, your ******* account has been terminated.       This company is acting fraudulently. They are acting unilaterally, without any foundation, harassing me, criminally defaming me, and then refusing to disclose the reason citing "privacy" concerns.

      This behaviour is actually illegal.

      I am a member of OurTime.com. On August 21, 2023, I subscribed for the 6-month service of ******* and paid $42.23 by a credit card. Then I canceled the recurring payments and was assured by ******* website that my subscription terms remain in effect until February 21, ****. However I stopped receiving daily notifications and daily emails from *******, as it was before I paid for the subscription. Whats more, ******* notified me that my subscription will end soon and urged to re-subscribe. This is totally unappropriate as I didnt cancel my subscription. I only canceled the recurring payments. I am very disappointed with the way ******* treated me and am requesting a refund of my subscription fee. I plan on closing my ******* account following the refund, and will never look back. I am very disappointed with the way my subscription was handled by *******.Thank you.

      Our records show this account was closed after ******* received a chargeback dispute indicating that a purchase made on this account was fraudulent. This account was closed accordingly and the payment method was blocked from future use on ******* to prevent further unauthorized charges. As explained in the ******* Terms of Use, "If you initiate a chargeback or otherwise reverse a payment made with your **************** Account, ********************** may terminate your account immediately in its sole discretion, on the basis that you have determined that you do not want a PeopleMedia subscription." In order to continue using *******, *** will need to create a new ******* account and select a different method of payment.

      For future reference, please be advised that cancellation of recurring billing is occurs through subscription cancellation. Members who cancel their subscription will continue to have access to any subscription benefits already paid for until the subscription period ends.       This company is horrendous to work with and does not take security seriously, subjecting third party people to harassment from random users due to their indifference to their support requests.Someone signed up for this service using my email address and I have been unable to remove the account under my email address from their system. This business does not have users verify their email address prior to giving them access to an account, and I have received over 50 emails with messages from creepy old men in the last 24 hours. This business does not have a live phone support option, and they are unresponsive to their online support forms, which I have already submitted two requests through. Not verifying email addresses is egregious in today's world, especially when the owner of the unverified email begins to receive explicit emails that they did not request due to the company's lack of proactively confirming the email address and their lack of follow up / customer support to correct the problem.One more note: their initial "welcome to our platform" email does have an option to report accounts created under the wrong email address, however, when you follow it to their website, the website says "we have sent you an email with instructions to remove the account", and does not actually send an email. I have checked spam, etc, and nothing comes through, no matter how many times this is requested.

      I am unable to login to ******* website. Forgot password, clicked the link to reset and requested emal with reset link. However, I have never received the email to reset password. I did check the spam folder and its not there. Cant get in touch with the ***************** they are unresponsive. Cant login after having paid for six months by a credit card. DESIRED SETTLEMENT: I want to receive a email with a reset link so that I can change my password.

      The email address with zendesk in it has never worked. It most likely not even manned.  You're talking to a dummy before realizing it.  This email address should be removed.

      This has to be the worst online dating site ever. I can take the blame for my part which is paying for this site without doing research. This is the first social media site I ever seen that requires females to pay which means little to no contact because women don't pay for stuff like this when there are other free sites.. So I got past that part and was ready to move on by purchasing 1 month of free contact for the females for $6 but once u click submit it tells you $75 which aint no way in H3ll Im paying after i just paid to subscribe.. I canceled my account to keep them from charging my card and they completely closed it down and I just paid for the subscription less than and hour. Oh it gets worse. I have had the account itself for many years but just not upgrade. Now all of a sudden they trying to force me to give them a phone number for security but i never had to do it b4 the many years this account has been active. I don't want my number floating around for someone to hack their system. I just went thru getting calls from unknowns because a company I gave my number too got hacked... At this point im ****** and just want my money back. Every ***** of it.

      I was checking my bank statement when I saw a charge from ourtime.com on July 24th for $74.97. I was a member but I never received an email or text informing me about an upcoming renewal and having x amount of days to decide if I wanted to renew or cancel. I immediately cancelled my membership and contacted them regarding no warning of an upcoming renewal fee and costs and to request my money back where I'm no longer using their website and no longer a paying member. They state they usually respond back within 24/48 hrs. They never responded back so I sent another request 4 days ago and I still haven't heard back from them. I tried calling their phone no. and a recording said the number I'm trying to reach is no longer in service. All I want is my $74.97 refunded to me.

      None of these actions were taken prior to the renewal date of this subscription, and therefore in renewed in accordance with the Terms of Use. Independent of this, we strive to provide current and former members with a positive experience. Therefore, we have processed a full refund for this renewal charge and cancelled the subscription. These funds will be returned to the original method of payment and may take **** business days to be received.

      I joined this site on July 29 2023 paying for a 3 months membership. At no time was advised prior to joining that I would have to provide a phone number. I am not comfortable providing this information and the website will not allow me to access the account to sign out or cancel my membership. If a phone number is mandatory it should have been a part of the sign up process and clearly stated.
