      My account was banned from Ourtime.com and I have no idea specifically why. I would appreciate if they are going to ban my account forever, they would provide specifics. I did not intentionally do anything malicious. I only got the response below which does not allow me the right to at least know which guideline was violated. If a cop pulls me over and gives me a ticket, I know why it was issued. I am told what the violation is.Additionally, if I know what I did wrong, I will be sure and not make the same mistake should I go on their sister company *********.       On 11/30 I subscribed to OurTime. The same day my account was blocked with no additional information. After a year of no dating, I decided to do a free trial of OurTime and a couple of days into the trial, I went ahead and subscribed. When I downloaded the app and attempted to enter my password, It turned out I had remembered it incorrectly. So, I submitted a password reset and was promptly blocked (the very same day I had paid for a subscription). After contacting customer care, I filled out the form they required (twice) and four days later was told I had violated the ****************** but was not told how/what I violated. I corresponded with one person only during the free trial and was not banned until I paid for the subscription. Prior to my attempt to use OurTime I had briefly been a member of Silver Singles (10/2023) where the same customer care team (through *********************** suspended my account after a few days. Again, no valid information as to why. At that time, they messaged ALL of the people who had sent me likes telling them I was a scammer. I followed their instructions to clear my name of the allegation, then cancelled my subscription and received full refund with a letter from them apologizing.Outside of having cancelled the Silver Singles account, there is no other reason this company would have to ban me the same day I subscribed. Im out $59.99. The company refuses to respond and my only other option is to follow their arbitration protocol, which Im just stubborn enough to do.Nowhere in their policies made public does it state a customer cannot have cancelled an affiliate account owned by **********************. Aside from me cancelling the silver singles account a year ago, there is no evidence that I violated any terms/conditions. This company is clearly out to make a quick buck off of seniors.

      On 12/2/2024 I have withdrawn my consent and I have requested PeopleMedia erase and delete my content, photos, phone number, and email from their website. I have requested a subscription cancellation. My content has not been deleted and erased, and my subscription has not been cancelled. I do not have access to the account. ********************** has not confirmed that my subscription has been cancelled and that I will not be billed. The company will not confirm that my information has been erased and deleted from their website. www.ourtime.com I am able to see that my information remains listed on their website through a friends Ourtime account even though they have denied me access to delete my account.

      In October or November 2024 (not sure of exact date) my online account with both ********************** and *********, owned by People Media, was blocked. When I emailed **************** at both places to ask why, they each said I had violated their terms of use or code of conduct, without providing specifics. I had used both services for many years without any problem. I did not do anything different than I had for years, nor did I engage in any offensive conduct in person or online. These are two major dating sites, and being blocked is a significant hindrance to my social life and search for a partner. Being penalized without explanation is contrary to our longstanding legal principles, where one has the right to face the accuser and know the specific accusation. I searched online and found numerous other people who have suffered the same injustice.I would like my account to be reinstated at both sites, or at least to be given a specific explanation of what I allegedly did wrong.       I am rejecting this response because:   Their response is incorrect. I asked to stop getting emails from ourtime.com. The complaint number they site is to stop getting emails from *********. It seems they are experts at signing people up for spam. It would be nice if there was a way for them to prevent this, like most companies use.

      01november2024 On the above date I called BlackPeopleMeet.com to cancel a subscription. The agency in formed me that the subscription could not be canceled due to the fact that the agency owed me a refund of $166.00 next I received a text************) while still taking with the *** addressing me as dear customer still communication with the *** my email address was requested and a other text was received stating that my refund of $266.00 was being imitated on my card ending with **************************************** amount I was told by the *** that the policy was that the extra money was because my card had to be verified and the $266.00 will be reflected after the case was closed the verification required me to purchases a ****** play card for $100.00 the *** also give me the instructions to take a snap shoot of the card and send the picture the above number the next text stated that the deposited was successful card ending *************************************************************************** 2021 I had an account with the agency and was owed $400.00 the *** on the phone was saying the same information as the text was reading and in order to close the case I would have to purchase a $200.0 ****** card and received $600.00 which would reflect on my card after the case close I opt out while the *** was Saying can you hear me hello I attempted to copy and email screen shot the text to download but no method I tried would allow me

      I paid to subscribe to the dating site Black people meet in September 3024. My subscription was scheduled to terminate in December 2024. Since the beginning of November 2024, I have been unable to access the site or communicate with matches sent to me in my email. When I click on the communication to open the link, nothing happens at first, then there is a message saying timed out or the server is not responding. I sent emails to Blackpeoplemeet.com two times to report this but I have not received a reply.

      About six weeks ago I was on ******** and I saw an ad for Our Time, which is a dating site it was for free so I decided to go on it. After two days, Ive decided it was not worth it and then all of a sudden a charge came from ********* for $10. I got in touch with them and told them that I did not join ********* and I was only on the free site, our time for two days. They said they would remove the charge. I just looked at my ****** account and so far they have charged me $194. I have not ******** just our time for two days.

      The OurTime Terms of Use explain "You will have the opportunity to purchase products and services from PeopleMedia. If you purchase a subscription, it will automatically renew - and you will be charged - until you cancel." No prior action was taken to cancel this subscription, and it renewed on a weekly basis in accordance with these Terms. 

      OurTime strives to provide current and former members with a positive experience. It is our understanding that ***** did not want an OurTime subscription, and so we have provided a one-time courtesy refund of the original purchase as well as all renewal charges on this account to date. The funds will be returned to the original method of payment and may take 5-10 business days to be received.

      Since June 23, 2024, I have faced issues with my OurTime account, owned by People Media in ******, **. After paying for a subscription, I was unable to access my account due to verification issues. I had no choice but to call my bank and have them contact people media/our time and they did give me back my subscription money, The only reason why I wanted my money back was because I couldnt get into my subscription, and I was blamed by people media/our time that I called my bank and they have never allowed me to get back in and get verified.They locked me out of the account and refused to verify my phone number.Despite following all steps given by *********************** including obtaining a new phone number through ******, I was locked out of my account. I was getting too many scam calls after I got a ****** phone number. I therefore deleted the ****** phone number. I choose to use my phone number which Ive had for 22 years. After seeking a refund from my bank, ******* permanently closed my account and stated I would need a new phone number, email, and credit card to rejoin. I also only have one Credit card that I use. They want me to get another one. I am willing to use a new email but not a new phone number, which I have had for 22 years. The way I was treated was unprofessional, and I am disappointed in the lack of resolution. I would also like to mention that I am sent daily matches every day from our time and discounts every so often from our time with absolutely no access to get into Ourtime. This has been very disappointing. If they are not going to verify me, I would rather not receive any matches or discounts. Although I would like to get back into Ourtime, if they are not going to verify me, theres no sense for them to send me pictures of matches.       Unfortunately, are unable to accept payment methods previously connected to a chargeback dispute. The payment method provider has indicated that those charges are fraudulent, and blocking this method of payment from being used on OurTime in the future helps to protect against future unauthorized transactions.

      The OurTime Terms of Use explain "If you initiate a chargeback or otherwise reverse a payment made with your **************** Account, ********************** may terminate your account immediately in its sole discretion, on the basis that you have determined that you do not want a PeopleMedia subscription.       Response to People Media via Better Business Bureau

      I am rejecting People Medias proposed resolution because of the ongoing issue with verifying my phone number. While I am willing to provide a new email address and a different credit card, my phone number remains unchanged and is critical to my daily life. I have had this phone number for 22 years, and changing it is not a viable option due to its use by my family, doctors, and other essential contacts.

      The phone number verification process was the original issue that locked me out of my account, and I need assurance that this phone number will now be verified before I proceed. Without this guarantee, I cannot accept the proposed resolution.

      Despite being locked out of my OurTime account, I continue to receive daily emails from People Media showcasing potential matches and offering discounts. I find it frustrating to be sent these promotions while being unable to access the service. If this issue is resolved, I would appreciate being offered a discount to sign up again and would only commit to a one-month subscription to ensure the process works.

      However, the main issue remains the verification of my phone number.
