I opened an account on ******************. I paid for one month at $24.99. After two weeks I was sent a message that I had used inappropriate speech when communicating with another member. The second time they accused me of being inappropriate was at a time when I had not been on the site for six days. Ourtime closed my account after two weeks. I have emailed ourtime three times. Each time I get a reply that someone will be in touch with me but Ive received no response. I also asked what the inappropriate behavior was. No response. I was also harassed with extremely pornographic language from a member. I emailed ourtime about this exchange which was quite scary for me. No response.Business Response

Subscribed to Ourtime.com about one week ago. I have been unable to access my account since then. Customer Service and responded 6 time in an effort to rectify the situation, to no avail. Each time they respond, I get a different representative who repeats the information given by the previous representative. All of what I have been told has been completely useless. I'm done. On 4/15/2024 I signed up for and paid to be a member of ******* dating website. Once I completed the application and made my payment of $104,94, I lost all control over Our Time account/website. I cannot log in, cannot get a password reset, their have been several unknown attempts to gain access to my email. ******* has failed to respond to my email. I contacted my credit card company and got the payment stopped (because I have been hacked or because of phishing). I need my Our Time dating website account closed/cancel/deleted as well as ALL photo's and personal email/information.Customer Answer

I was just notified by OUR Time that my account was "inadvertently disabiled because of a technical error" and because of the error my credit card was refunded the full amount of $104.94. They also gave me access to account and I was able to close/delete my Our Time account along with all photo's. They stated my account is no longer visible however they will hold information for 1 year incase I change my mind!

I canceled my membership with this company two days before my membership was to end and they were to take out more money for my account and they went ahead and took the money out anyway and they refuse to give me any kind of settlement on this then will not give me a refund. I paid for a subscription to this scam site and I can't access the site. Every time I try to log in I get a pop up telling me to verify my identity and they are sending a code to my phone. I decided to try a dating service called Our Time . I made a profile and never used it, realized it wasnt the dating app for me. I tried calling People Media **** and apparently the only way to contact them was through email so the voice mail states! I found that to be odd. So I did email People Media *** Via email, asking them to delete my account. Mind you they had already charged $22.77 4 times out of my pay pal account. $88.68 all at once. Iam a professional could not get into the account to delete it myself, so emailed this company numerous times to assist me in deleting the account **************************** after I signed up. No response. When they did respond they only refunded me $22.77 I never got to use their service because I could not get into it, to obviously delete it. I have numerous emails of me requesting help to delete the account. Doing business through email instead of a phone call isnt good business. Speaking to a customer service agent is what I needed! You get to speak to a human being, especially when youre being ****** charged and work hard for your money. I just want others to beware when signing up with OUR TIME dating app aka PEOPLES MEDIA. Their emails continually stated go into the account to delete the account. I repeatly wrote via email I cant get into the account. So they only refunded me $22.77 back to my pay pal and I am disputing this. I should have received the entire amount they took from my account. Always research dating apps before you join them. You can get locked out of your account and you will request assistance and get none, hence the dating app company will charge you, disregarding your problem. Pay Pal did assist me in getting the $22.77 People Media kept my hard earned money, when I couldnt return to my site to delete it. What ever happened to making phone calls to companies to speak to a human being? Our records show People Media received a support request from this e-mail address on 2/15/24. On 2/16/24 ************* replied to this ticket requesting information to verify the account and assist with password reset. To date, we have not received a response to this initial request. Another request was received yesterday 2/20/24 and People Media's ************* team provided a courtesy refund for the latest installment charge as well as waiving the remaining installment fees due.
Our Terms of Use explain that, in the case of Installments, "You will be charged the full price of the qualifying product you selected spread equally over one initial payment due at the time of purchase and three subsequent payments (provided, however, that if the full price is not evenly divisible by four, your final payment amount may be smaller). The three subsequent payments will be charged in the increments you selected as part of your subscription plan. These Terms also explain "If you cancel your subscription prior to completing all payments due, unless otherwise required by applicable law, the remaining balance of the subscription will remain due and payable pursuant to the installment payment schedule you agreed to" and "Generally, all purchases are final and nonrefundable, and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods."
We strive to provide current and former users with a positive experience, and our ************* team refunded the latest installment payment as well as waiving further installment payments as a one-time courtesy. However, we will not be able to offer a refund for the initial purchase.Thank you for your understanding.
