I tried to cancel the auto-renew my 6-month contract with Ourtime.com but they make it so difficult to do this. I was advised that my contract had been renewed at a much higher rate, which I understand is possible. I signed up for blackpeoplemeet in July for 6 months with a price of $21.00. I immediately canceled the subscription because I did not want to renew. Now there is a charge of $59.99 on my card for a 6 month renewal. I want my money. If I did want to auto renew, it states it would at the same rate for the same amount of time. My complaint is solely with Blackpeoplemeet.com which is a subsidiary of People Media **** which owns multiple online dating platforms. For approximately 2 years and some odd months, I ha e been getting the same old automatic email responses from Blackpeoplemeet.com for a simple issue I have identified to Blackpeoplemeet.com for the duration of those 2 years. This one complaint is based on whatever this phone number verification Blackpeoplemeet.com has added to their website/app in which I've had the same exact phone number, for over 15 years so obviously I would have used it to reguster my account. I willfully submitted any and all documentation asked for to prove my identity to no resolution whatsoever. While being one if not the largest black single online dating site online today, I thoroughly enjoyed Blackpeoplemeet.com until no customer service option has been available for a number of years now. I really don't believe no one even works in the customer service department and these computer generates responses are only provided to appease whatever laws there are governing such and entity. I had a account through black ******************************************* a long time ago okay the other day was the first time that I had wanted it seem like you could browse the the listings of the people for free but then for you to be able to contact them you had to I'll pay so I end up signing up where I would do full payments I guess every two weeks to pay them for the membership when going on there I've seen some things that that I didn't really care for too much and I said it wasn't for me when I contacted the people that I was interested in and you know some people are contacted me but it just seemed like it wasn't you know for me so I all in the same day I posted some pictures I paid the fee and then I took the pictures off and canceled my membership and deactivated my account I never heard anything back from customer service I told him I wanted my money back because I didn't even have the services for 24 hours they refused to respond back to me or even give me my money back when I called the number that they had it said that you had to keep emailing them I did that again and still no response I would like my money back and my account deactivated I want to be fully refunded and I don't want any more money taken out my account because I did not like the website and I'm not happy I just rather just get my money back and not deal with them and they don't deal with meBusiness Response

I can only get into my account thru messages sent to me by other participants or messages sent to me from the business. I have not yet tried to get into, or verify my account today. I suppose there records do show they have sent the verification code but I'm saying I'm not receiving it. I can't verify my account so I can't get into it unless someone corresponds with me first. Seems it works for a while, then it doesn't. If they are truely going to refund my payment, that will make me happy but no one has informed me of this, and I want other people to know it's impossible to get a human response from them, or any that males any sense.
