They called me AFTER a supposed appointment had been missed. Lady was rude on the phone, and after her telling me it was my fault, come to find out they only tried reaching out via email and had my email address wrong! She then told me that I'd be hearing from someone else to schedule a new appointment since I missed the original!!!! I promptly called the VA hotline and explained to them what happened. My upcoming C&P examiner isn't even showing to be in the field of study or practicing in the claim topic. Since my claim is a presumptive and I already have a DBQ from my personal DR, not sure why I am even being scheduled for a C&P; this goes against the M21-1 criteria. SO, reading all the review below, it appears I am in for a similar experience with them.

I have been dealing with VES as per the VA setting up my eval. From the start this company just assigns appointments without rtegard to any of your current plans, you are not allowed to talk with any person in scheduling to try to get an appointment taht is beneficial to you and the VES. Second 4 out of 5 of the people barely speak english, the majority of the ones that do speak english no regard for the Vets situation. 3rd the initial appointment was scheduled with a doctor who was not trained to diagnose one of my medical conditions. She informed me that her scheduler made a mistake, as she was not supposed to be scheduled for these types opf issues. She completed the portion of the exam that she was trained on. 4th the next sheduled appointment same issues as the 1st no regard to my sxchedule no call from scheduling, I actually had to move an appointment set 6 mos prior at my local CBOC to make this appointment. Now here I am several weeks later the VA has not recived the review from VES. I have spoken with several people and I am being informed my paperwork and medical evealuations are at their QA dept, which is 1st come 1st served reghardless of severity. Even though VES dropped the ball and scheduled me incorrectly and needed to return for a followup. Riddle me this. If they make a mistake why do we VETS have to pay the price?

Horrible! The VA referred my C&P Examination to VES for 1 of 4 of my claims, who sat on it for 3 weeks without scheduling my exam, despite VES being aware the VA flagged my claim as Expedited due to Terminal Illness. I called VES requesting they get me scheduled asap as I resume chemo in a couple of weeks. VES kicked back my referral to the VA alleging that I refused an exam date. I was never scheduled! I contacted the VA to have them refer another exam, but not to VES. The VA sent me to ********** and the Examiner uploaded my results on that same day. Then, I get another notification the VA referred to to VES for my other claims. Against my better judgment, I opted to roll with it due to my limited time. I attended an exam on 10/25/23, the Examiner was extremely rough and I left in agony. But, she wanted to delay sending my results because she wanted to refer me for X-Rays. I didn’t need X-Rays and the VA confirmed this. After holding my results for a week, she submitted them. Except, not to the VA, but to VES's so-called QA. I contacted VES reminding them this is Expedited and was told VES doesn't distinguish between regular and Expedited Claims because the VA can't handle the volume, they outsource them to 3rd Parties. Therefore, VES classifies claims the same. VES views Veterans as commodities, and of all the contractors the VA has sent me to for exams, VES is by far the worst. Every other company would have had my results to the VA by now. VES uses the, "it's with our QA," as an excuse to delay sending in the results. I asked what the QA process involves and no one from VES can tell me. I know many Veterans who were referred to VES, and had to fight for months just to get their results sent to the VA.

Started my claim in May 2023 it is now November 1, 2023. The VA still has not received any reports they sent me to an appointment that was at a facility that didn’t perform the testing they scheduled and fact the facility didn’t even have a record of my having an appointment. Nobody on their customer service can give me any answers to questions they just keep transferring me in circles if the VA assigns this company to you know that it’s going to take a very very long time.

This is a horrible company! I went to a C&P exam in early July 2023 and was expecting to receive a travel reimbursement check, but as of late October 2023, I have yet to receive this check. I have contacted them numerous times and they keep telling me that we will get a check in the mail for me. At this point I don't expect to receive a check, but I will keep calling them!!! I am certain that I am not the only veteran that has not received what is rightfully theirs's.
I contacted the VA this morning, regarding this issue and they setup a case for me, so we will see where that goes.
With this many complaints the VA really needs to take a look at cancelling the contract with this company

Shela B****** summed up in 20 minutes in Aug 23, that I was not depressed enough to win my claim for depression. Her opinion overrides my winning a back injury, sciatica, perpheral neuropathy along with knee injury. She was nice and kind throughout discussion then wrote her opinion that slammed everything I shared with her, I mean she went back and searched deeply in my medical records and wrote anything other than info my X-rays and mris and other records reflected. She feels my back pain couldn’t possibly depress me. I can’t even bend down before or since surgery to properly tie my shoe or pick things up from the floor. VA refuses to accept my claim because VES selfish workers says so. The other examiner in May Stephanie C*******, same way. She even said she planned on reading all7800 pages of my medical record before she gave VA and opinion, her summary was a mess. They both wasted my time. Will not let VA choose them for my C@P exam again. You two may have favored someone but I surely wasn’t the Veteran who is still not whole. I will sought Congress and an attorney to get C&P records to see how they worded my information to persuade the VA to be ok with this.

Sent me to a quack. Scheduled exams with doctors who dont have degrees in the fields of medicine they are doing DBQs. Little to zero training on how the DBQs are to be done. This has caused false information made up by the doctor, changes to my statements, and old information to be submitted. Reducing, severing and denying multiple disabilities that are going to take years to fight. Zero process to complain and resolve issues. Contracted doctors are there for money only.
