    The scheduling part was easy. The NP that did my general exam was very thorough. However, my last appointment was on 25 May 2023 and as of 20 September 2023, VES has still not provided the VA with the results for my claim to be processed. One person that I spoke with at VES stated that they have tried reaching out to the provider and she is not responding. Another person from VES called me a day later and berated me for calling inquiring about my exams. They proceeded to tell me that "VES does not answer to veterans, only to the VA and if the VA isn't calling them then they will get to it whenever they get to it.". We service members have given years to this nation at an extreme cost to physical, emotional, mental, and family health. The fact that when I spoke to someone at the VA who stated that VES is their worst contractor for these exams is reason enough that the contract for VES should be revoked. They are getting paid to fail miserably at their job.

    Worst outfit .. even worse than Comcast ! Trying to get my medical appointment mileage check for weeks - they tell you anything when you call - finally got a "supervisor" ..gave me his email to contact him to see progress getting the check ....his email did not work ! Called back today and was able to reach him ...... say's he sent me an email earlier today explaining what happened to my travel mileage check - there was no email from him ... asked him what email you sent it to and repeated my correct email ..... wasn't in the spam either ......... so I still do not have an answer ......this kind of poor service is happening from other companies .... they must hire from the bottom of the barrel .......

    Unqualified individuals making opinion on claims.
    Plus falsified document.
    Submitted claim to VA for benefits in August of 2022 and ves staff looking over what records the VA gave them stated appointment date was April of 2022.
    How the hell I have an evaluation appointment 3 months before I submitted a claim ?

    Terrible. All of the other reviews have summed it up accurately.

    When you call ahead of time to provide them with your availability, they still schedule you on days when you are not available. Changing that appointment incurs a penalty, and you only get two before they kick it back to the VA to start the process all over again.

    I recently started a new job and traveled all the way from Miami, Florida to upstate NY for an appointment during a break in training. When I got there, the provider said that VES had cancelled the appointment. No one bothered calling to inform me that it had been cancelled.

    Be sure to call the doctor ahead of time and make sure that the office is in fact OPEN on the day that VES has scheduled you! It seems absurd that they would schedule you on days when they are closed.. but that does happen. And if you are on terminal leave they will tell you that they are under no obligation to reimburse you for mileage.

    Transitioning out of the military is a challenge, and dealing with VES has made it so much harder

    The most unprofessional group of employees I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve had to call every week to figure out why my report from 12 weeks ago has not been sent to the VA yet. Everyone I spoke to gave me a different answer over the course of those 12 weeks. How is that provider going to remember me 12 weeks later when trying to finish a report after seeing hundreds of other veterans. Somebody told me it had already been sent to the VA, it was being reviewed by Quality Control, the provider still had it…the reasons were endless. And to top it off the lack of customer service and rudeness of not only their phone agents but supervisors as well. So I requested my exams be switched to their competitor. The VA needs to end this contract quickly.

    As someone who has spent months of time, multiple days of PTO and spent hours of time on the phone with veteran evaluation services I can confidently say that this company does care about its veterans. After reading the ********* employee reviews as well, I am not surprised at the lack of professionalism, respect or knowledge that every single one of the people representing VES that I have spoken to has shown. I have spent so much time stressing over whether or not I have appointments (they refuse to give any notice outside of 48 hours). I have driven hundreds of miles (because they can't find a certified practitioner within 100 miles of me even though I live in the second largest city in Indiana). The providers that I have met with are as unprofessional and uncaring as the rest of the employees that I have spoken to at VES. I have called on several occasions in order to gain access to my online account just to be met with redirection and insufferable unprofessionalism. As a company that "cares about this country's veterans' and thanks us for our service, they sure seem to try to make us fold under the weight of shifty scheduling, disrespect and plain stupidity.
    Hopefully sometime in the near future, the VA will reconsider and hear it's veterans' cries for help and build a new contract with a company that is timely, cares about us and won't make it seem like we are a burden.

    I agree with many of the negative comments written previously. Spoke with a couple of different folks on the phone telling me the VES reached out to me via phone and text (I have no text messages or voice mail record of these attempted communications from VES) several times to no avail and then they "pick a random" date and expect me to make the appointment. No two-way communication with a scheduler at all. VES appointment process is severely flawed, broken. As a veteran I feel that I am the bad guy due to their choice of words like they will grant a "courtesy reschedule" when I never was given a chance to make a reasonable appointment in the first place? VA has entered into a bad contract with this company and needs to get their money back and take care of veteran's needs. VES is a big NEGATIVE in the claims process. VA-Please fix immediately. If the VA can't fix this current mess then please find a new contractor that uses common sense and has sufficient people skills. I am a 28 year retired Navy Command Master Chief.

    I Had an appointment in Kent, WA Office and was met by Alicia and Becky upon arriving for my appointment at 3:15 Monday the 28th. Both receptionists were very friendly and helpful. They cleared up any questions what I was there for about my evaluation and without any delay I was called back for my appointment. The appointment went very smooth and was completed without any delay and everything was explained professionally every step of the way. Keith and the Xray Technician were professional and were friendly and I was surprised how quick and smooth everything went and I signed out and was offered treats (Thanks) And that was it. I would tell any other Vet who has an appointment at this VES site to expect to be treated well and feel respected. Walking in my nervousness went away and I felt relaxed right away. Great People!!!!

    What a bumbling bunch of arrogant ****** from top to bottom. They have a bunch of bottoms working there
    The left hand absolutely does not know what the right hand is doing.
    The complaint list is too long. Disgusting that a Vet has to put up with ******** from people that have NEVER been any branch of the service. Maybe in the branches, but never on the service of our country.
