      They applied pest control on my property without my authorization. I have a toddler at home who I do not want exposed to chemicals. They refused to do anything to fix their "mistake" other than say they would not come out again. This is absolutely unacceptable. If they sprayed things on my home, they should do whatever they can to remove it. Shameful.

      Had Joshua's Pest control for about 2 years, Its not like i see a 100% reduction in pest but when I see a pest I email them a pic and they are usually out in 2-3 days to do the treatment. I am based in lake county. **

      This service is a joke. I was hesitant in trying them out when the sells rep on a scooter ask me to just try their service. So I did sign up for some free inspection and that is when the free was not free and within 2 day I call to cancel their service. They said that I signed a contract and I would have to pay a cancellation fee. I never once seen anyone come out to my house for a service that they said they were going to do. After this call I told the rep that no one had ever came to my house to do any work or spray. So they did send a person out for a respray and all I have to say is that . how can it be a respray when it was never sprayed in the first place. And the tech only sprayed where I wanted them to spray. So i would never use Moxie Pest Control in *******. I still have not had any service done at my property and I will never recommend them to anyone.

      Please explain to me how to cancel my subscription. Is there an email I send the request to? I just called today and you said I only have two more services left that I need to pay for but I just checked and it shows I have scheduled after that? How would I cancel this???

      Thank you for the inquiry. We sign everyone up for one year. After that year is up you just need to contact us again. You can do that via SMS, phone call, email, or snail mail. If you looked at your online portal, it will show multiple years on services because the service continues after the year, just on a "one at a time" basis so you can cancel at anytime, but we don't sign you up for another year. As always, you are warrantied for free so don't hesitate to call us in-between services!

      I believe that this company is a scam. After cancelling, I received an invoice for $180.00. That is more than the cost of their service. I don't remember signing a contract. If I would have seen that clause in a contract, their would be no way I would sign it. There isn't an easy way to contact them on the website, only a phone number. I don't feel like talking to a "customer retention specialist." I live near ******* and we don't really have insect problems in the winter.

We sent the service agreement to you via email, but based on our system it looks like you haven't opened it. Please know that you can easily email us, text us, or call us. I cursory ****** search will bring up ways to get a hold of us.

      They don't do anything, they charge a crazy amount, and they told me I had termites because my neighbors had a wood pile and tried to sell me some $15,000 termite protection. I'll be canceling as soon as I can actually get a hold of somebody to cancel because it's somehow impossible to do anything other than give them money from the online portal. I'll probably pay hundreds of dollars for the privilege of getting rid of this trash company. Got scammed out of hundreds as a new homeowner when I didn't know better... learned my ****** I guess.

      I'm super upset to hear that you feel this way about our company. I'm not sure what conversation you had about termite coverage, but there is nothing having to do with termites remotely near that price point. I see you had an inspection over a year ago, so we are not sure if that is what you are referring to. We will be following up with you on Monday to speak with you. You've been with us for well over a year now and it wouldn't cost you anything to stop services with us. With that being said, we provide a top tier service and definitely provide value in keeping your home bug free. We have teams of people dedicated to making you happy. I'm sorry that you feel it's impossible to do anything. A cursory ****** search will bring up our phone number, email, SMS line, etc. to get a hold of us if you are having a problem.We wish you well and will speak to you on Monday!

      This company has charged me multiple times even after I have told them I wanted to cancel. I made it clear that I would never do business with them again and they still sent someone out to do a quarterly service. They charged me over $375 without confirming the amount over the phone. After that was refunded, they sent someone out saying we had another quarter we had paid for. Apparently that was an agreement to keep sending someone out after I made the request to cancel ALL services and made it clear I would never be doing business with them again. Like I previously stated, I will no longer use this company and expect my money to be refunded.

      I apologize that you are so frustrated with us. I do see here a conversation in May about us charging for an annual Sentricon renewal. After stating you didn't want Sentricon anymore we did promptly refund that amount back to you. You were paid for a ****************** We then sent a notification that we were coming out for a routine maintenance the next day. That serviced occurred which is what the recent charge was for.Please know that we have someone slated to follow up with you on Monday to get this taken care of. You've been with us for over 5 years and we don't want to end on poor terms. We wish you well and will speak soon!

      Like the reviews below state, ************ is a scam and is not a legit pest control company. I paid for Rodent Prevention Services with my *********************** plan, which covers mice and rats. Their company provided 2 bait boxes for a ****sqft house, did not offer to seal exterior holes, and never inspected inside unless the Customer "heard something" in the attic or crawlspace. Kind of defeats the whole purpose of "preventative" service plans. They also stated they are "not exterminators". but would gladly charge me ****** dollars for T.A.P. insulation to fix the problem. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, unless you want rats in your house and incompetent untrained technicians. The Brand Account Manager also stated that they would issue a refund for ONE service and close my account for me. I argued for a solution to the problem THEIR COMPANY failed to prevent, but because my account was "now closed", there was nothing they could do.

      Each one of their employees who visited our home were pretty friendly, but definitely salesmen, despite what they might tell you.The company called to schedule a free complimentary termite inspection. After a look around, they showed us a video of a bug scurrying away in their hand from a scoop of mulch they dug up and claimed it was a termite. We just had a home inspection that covered for termite inspection a couple months back, and no evidence of termites was found, so this was pretty surprising to say the least. The price they wanted for installing a termite protection system was very high. They advised youd pay one big upfront cost and then a yearly cost after that. You could not skip a year though, otherwise they would come back and dig the termite system up and if you ever wanted or needed it again, youd have to pay the large installation fee again. They said we had to decide then and there if we wanted to spend over 3k to treat these termites. They were trying to prey on our fears of losing our home.We called another pest control company for a 2nd opinion. Their employee came in and confirmed there is not a termite issue on our property. They also asked us (without us providing them any information on what happened with the first opinion we received, other than the fact that we were getting a 2nd opinion) if they (Joshuas) showed us a video of a termite on our property as that had happened to someone else he helped out earlier that week.To hear that this shameful tactic is something that is tried and true and practiced was appalling. Lying about their findings, showing a fake video to customers, pressure tactics. I am shocked this company is still in business as they are scamming people left and right.The contract stated we would have to pay the cost of the initial discount if we were to cancel early (which we did), they then charged us more than the initial discount after the fact to cancel. Dont walk away from this company, RUN.

      I am so sorry that you've had such a negative experience with our company. Obviously we would want to make this right. I have a note that you spoke to someone on August 12th this year. The note that I have is essentially saying that you wanted to cancel but didn't want to talk about why and said that it was several things. We do ask back the initial discount that was given on the 1st service if you cancel before the year is up. With that being said, this scenario changes things. With something like this happening we would 100% want to make this right by you. I am having someone follow up with you ASAP.
